"Lord Lewis!?

That's too good for my sister!"

The first to react to Father's words was Cynthia.

"Shh, Cynthia? Stop it."

The one who stopped Cynthia was my stepmother, who had been clearly afraid of me ever since she was attacked by bees.

"Cynthia is going to marry Prince Keith, so Cynthia will be much happier, right? Right?"

"…Do you have some ulterior motive?"

I ignored my stepmother and Cynthia and asked Father.

"It's a strong request from the Morgan family.

You are to leave this house immediately upon graduating from the academy."

"Lord Lewis! What do you mean by that?"

The next day after school, I immediately caught Lord Lewis in the library.

"Lady Margaret, it's been a while.

Now that you're no longer Prince Keith's fiancée, you can't even greet me anymore?"

"…Lord Lewis, it's been a while.

I'm relieved that you're as rude as ever."

Lord Lewis put down the book he was reading and stood up.

"…Father told me about the engagement.

He said it was a strong request from the Morgan family, but I thought he might have used some underhanded tactics."

"Indeed, it's not a strong request from the Morgan family."

"…I see…"

"It's my strong request."

"Ha? …Huh!?"

‘Margaret is blushing again.’

‘She looks like a tomato.’

‘Let’s turn the garden of the glasses family into a tomato field.’

"…Your strong request?"

"Because I enjoy being with Lady Margaret."

"Such a reason? I'm the woman who was jilted by Prince Keith. Marrying me would only bring you disadvantages, Lord Lewis."

"…I wake up every day at 5:45 AM."

"…Pardon?"

"I eat breakfast, and at the academy, I read for an hour before classes start. I attend classes and have lunch with Prince Keith.

After afternoon classes, I study for two hours in the library before returning home.

I have dinner, do my homework for the next day, and turn off the lights at 10 PM."

"…What are you talking about?"

"On days off, the content of my daily routine changes, but the time I wake up and go to bed has been the same for over ten years since I was old enough to understand.

…But on the days I talk to Lady Margaret, I can't help but smile, and I can't fall asleep at 10 PM. On the days when Lady Margaret is in the library, I wake up at 5 AM."

‘The glasses are blushing too.’

‘She looks like an apple.’

‘Let’s break the glasses with an apple.’

"I've never been in a proper relationship, so I don't know, but it sounds like you're in love with me, Lord Lewis."

"I've never been in a relationship either, but I think that's probably it."

"…I've never read a less romantic proposal in a romance novel."

"I've never read a romance novel."

"…Are you really sure about me?"

"There's no one more enjoyable than Lady Margaret."

"I'm not an expert on glasses, you know?"

"I can take care of my own glasses, so it's not a problem."

"Wouldn't marrying me, who was jilted by Prince Keith, cause you unnecessary trouble, Lord Lewis?"

"Life is meant for hardship."

"To marry into the royal family and the prime minister's family from the same duchy…"

"According to Father, while some families were initially opposed, they changed their stance the next day."

"…Huh?"

"It seems bees appeared. Apparently, they have a trauma with bees and said, 'If we oppose, we'll be punished by heaven.'"

"…Was that the night a week ago?"

"Yes."

They were gone. Come to think of it, on the day I was called to Father's study, the fairies were unusually absent.

‘Cookie, chocolate, mint. Well done?’

‘Hehehe, Margaret's Cupid.’

‘Thanks to us.’

‘We wanted to feed them to tigers, but we settled for bees.’

"Upon hearing that story, I was indeed worried about the country, but more than that, I hoped that Lady Margaret also desired to marry me."

"…Lord Lewis, have you perhaps noticed?"

"No, the only thing I've noticed is that when I'm with Lady Margaret, my glasses tend to slip and fog up more than usual.

And recently, for some reason, Margaret flowers have been blooming wildly in my garden."

I looked at the fairies.

They were flying high in the sky.

‘Congratulations, Margaret.’

‘We've never been this happy before.’

‘Let’s create a rainbow of blessing.’

A huge rainbow appeared in the sky, and when Lord Lewis saw it, he smiled with a rare, enormous smile.

"Would you consider that rainbow as your answer to my proposal?"
