"Happy birthday, Lady Margaret!"

"Thank you! I’m so happy!"

One week after Lord Lewis celebrated my birthday, I met Lady Sophia and Lady Kanon at a café near the Royal Library for the first time in about two months since I graduated from the academy.

"Thank you. I’ve been looking forward to seeing both of you again today."

I was overjoyed to be celebrated by my friends on my birthday. Besides, this café was where Lord Lewis and I had our first date, so it held very special memories for me.

"I’ve been looking forward to today as well."

Lady Sophia’s smile after so long was truly healing.

"Here’s a present for you, Lady Margaret!"

Lady Kanon’s usual stormy enthusiasm was also nostalgic.

"…A present…?"

"Here it is!"

Lady Kanon handed me a beautiful small box.

"It’s a birthday present! …Please open it!"

"…Lady Kanon… Thank you."

I untied the ribbon and opened the lid of the small box. Inside was a brooch with a blue gemstone.

"…This is…"

"…At the graduation ceremony, I said that the brooch you were wearing was not suitable for the next Prime Minister’s wife… But Lord Lewis told me that it was something very important to you."

Lady Kanon looked down apologetically before meeting my eyes directly.

"I’m sorry for what I said then. That brooch should have been treasured as a valuable possession. So, I would like to give you a brooch that you can use every day."

"Lady Kanon… Thank you. …But, such an expensive gift…"

"Don’t underestimate it! I’m giving it because I want to! …I want you to accept it without hesitation."

Lady Kanon, with a slightly blushing face, looked very cute, and I couldn’t help but smile.

"Lady Kanon, thank you very much for the beautiful brooch."

When I thanked Lady Kanon, the fairies were also very excited.

(Margaret’s new brooch!)

(Margaret’s treasures are increasing!)

(Should we make it rain brooches in the café?)

"…The brooch you wore at the graduation ceremony…"

Just as Lady Sophia was about to say something, our order arrived.

"Here you are."

The waiter skillfully placed the tea and Mont Blanc in front of us and left.

"It looks delicious!"

With Lady Kanon’s words, we paused our conversation and eagerly enjoyed the tea and Mont Blanc.

"I also have a present for you, Lady Margaret."

After finishing the Mont Blanc, Lady Sophia smiled gently.

"We made it with all our hearts, with the usual group. The head chef of the Duke of Silver’s household even took a break to help us."

Saying this, Lady Sophia placed five beautifully wrapped transparent bags on the table.

"Chocolate mint cookies? But, this shape is…"

"Margaret and Lewis, and the three angels."

"…What!?"

"Perhaps it’s just my imagination, but I felt as if I saw angels surrounding and blessing the happy couple at your wedding with Lord Lewis."

(This cookie!!)

(I’m here! Chocolate!!)

(It’s mint too!)

The angel-shaped chocolate mint cookies that Lady Sophia made captured the features of kuki, shokora, and mint, and the fairies were more excited than ever before.

"Lady Sophia… Perhaps the garden will become a mint field again…"

"The gardener will be happy too."

Lady Sophia smiled, and Lady Kanon laughed happily beside her. Watching the two of them, I felt the joy of spending time laughing with my friends. I savored the happiness I felt, something I couldn’t have imagined a year ago.
