Shao Han was very surprised when he was told that his club was moving to Yiyou. Although Yiyou was the golden training base of the esports circle, the contract fees were really high.

But in contrast, the clubs stationed in Yiyou Building would have much better resources in terms of sponsorship and contracts, and the training environment was also one of the very best in the country.

According to the manager, there were more sponsorships this year compared to previous years. Just as their original training base’s contract was about to end, S city’s e-sports resources were also much better than their original D city’s, so the club simply bit the bullet and spent a lot of money to sign with Yiyou.

The teams stationed in Yiyou were all formidable e-sports teams. Not to mention Titans, who were ranked first not just in China but all of Asia, there were also four other clubs who were in the top ten. Although this would probably increase the training pressure by a lot, Shao Han was incomparably looking forward to being able to be exposed to a new environment and new opponents.

When he received a message from Yao Sen last month asking if they were going to move Yiyou, Shao Han was quite surprised –how did Yao Sen find out so quickly?

On their moving day, as Shao Han and his teammates got off the bus, every single one of them were stunned by the imposing entrance of the Yiyou Building. Although they had all seen it in pictures before, it wasn’t the same as standing in front of the real thing. They sighed one after another. Sure enough, the nationally renowned professional training base was in a whole different league.

Shao Han was sizing up the entrance when he suddenly saw a familiar figure in the distance, walking towards them.

Yao Sen was wearing his casual clothes, but his simple jacket and trousers on his body still made him look distinctive from the average person, and the smile on the corner of his mouth was so charming that it dazzled the eyes.

Yao Sen came over and smiled, “I never expected to see you again so soon, I thought I’d have to wait until next year’s WCAD.”

Shao Han was stunned, “Why did you come down?”

“I just came back when I saw your bus, so I thought I’d simply wait for you.”

Shao Han nodded and said, “Then… I’ll go tidy up my luggage first and talk to you later?”

“I’ll wait for you, I don’t have anything on right now anyway,” Yao Sen replied. “You’re not familiar with this place, so I might as well take you up and introduce you.”

Seeing that Shao Han had a lot of luggage, Yao Sen offered to help him with his backpack, leaving no chance for Shao Han to refuse. He turned around and walked towards the entrance. Shao Han stood there stunned for a moment. He turned back to his teammates, and one of them laughed and teased, “The most valuable hand in all of Asia’s esports circle is helping you with your luggage, Shao ge has a lot of face.”

Shao Han was somewhat embarrassed. He quickly gathered his things and caught up with Yao Sen’s footsteps.

When they entered the lobby of the building, Shao Han first saw the huge LED screen, which was scrolling with information about all the teams stationed in Yiyou and displayed the building’s esports training facilities.

The Yiyou Building was open to the public on weekends and visitors could tour the public and training floors. If they were lucky, they could even take pictures with the team members.

Yao Sen first helped Shao Han acquire his dorm key card from the building management staff, then walked into the Building B’s elevator with a routine ease, asking, “Where are you staying?”

“943.”

Yao Sen took Shao Han to dorm 943, a room that the Aegis team members had just recently vacated. It hadn’t accumulated any dust yet. The conditions of Yiyou’s accomodations were extremely good, consisting of double rooms with their own balconies and bathrooms. Shao Han looked around the bathroom and balcony and was quite pleased with the interior layout.

Yao Sen put Shao Han’s luggage down and asked, “Who are you staying with?”

“Captain.”

Yao Sen nodded and said, “I live in Building A, 1522, feel free to stop by.”

Shao Han agreed, looking at Yao Sen, then at the logo of the e-sports training center on the dormitory door and asked, “Can I take a look at your youth training team train after? It’s fine if it’s not convenient.”

“‘Course you can, just let me know when you want to come.”

“Thanks.” Shao Han suddenly recalled the meal that he had promised a few weeks ago, “I’ll treat you to dinner tonight.”

The corners of Yao Sen’s mouth turned up, “Sure.”

That evening, Shao Han came to the Titans Club’s youth training room and stood outside as he intently watched them through the glass. Yao Sen stood outside the training room with him for half an hour, making the youth trainees inside afraid to even look back. The captain standing outside was even more frightening than the coach standing inside.

The phone in Yao Sen’s pocket suddenly vibrated, someone had sent a message in their team’s group chat.

Wang Yuxi: @YaoSen I heard you brought Shao ge along?

Yao Sen: Yeah, what’s up?

Wang Yuxi: That, are you sure about this

Yao Sen: Didn’t he also invite me to their youth team practice during the group traning? He’s just looking, it’s fine

Wang Yuxi: If Lao-Gou finds out, he’ll scold you

Yao Sen: Just tell him, he hasn’t said anything for a month and I’m itching for a spanking

Bai Yue: When did you get so familiar with Shao Han?

Yao Sen: Over a month ago

Bai Yue: You’ve only known each other for a month ??

When it was almost dinner time, Shao Han asked Yao Sen what he wanted to eat. Yao Sen had no ideas, so they finally decided to go to the Yiyou Building’s neighbouring night market snack street for spicy crayfish.

When they were about to leave, Shao Han asked, “Should we call Bai Yue and the others?”

Yao Sen, who only wanted to go with Shao Han alone, replied without a trace of guilt, “No need, they don’t like crayfish.”

Shao Han didn’t ask any more questions and went to the snack street with Yao Sen, where they ordered two plates of crayfish and chatted while eating. As they chatted, Shao Han suddenly remembered Yao Sen’s incident with the wristband. “The wristband issue didn’t affect you too much, right?”

“It’s fine, little quarrels will pass.”

Shao Han nodded, “By the way, I gave that cup to Xiao Meng, she quite likes it.”

When mentioning his sister, Shao Han’s voice contained a rare bit of more warmth. Looking at the smile that Shao Han’s eyes and mouth subconsciously revealed, Yao Sen’s heart also warmed.

“That’s great. If Xiao Meng wants, I can send her a full set of this year’s Titan’s merch,” Yao Sen said. “Or you can just ask Xiao Meng to send me the things she wants me to sign.”

Shao Han stared at Yao Sen for a while and suddenly sat up straight, squinting his eyes with more than a little worried suspicion between his brows, “Why are you so good to Xiao Meng? You wouldn’t be… Xiao Meng hasn’t graduated from high school yet, I don’t support her early love.”

Yao Sen choked at his words. Looking into Yao Sen’s eyes, he innocently replied, “No, it’s really not that.”

If it were someone else saying this, Shao Han might not believe it, but it was surprisingly convincing when Yao Sen said it, so Shao Han let go of that doubt in his heart for the time being. “…Is that so. That’s good.”

Although Yao Sen was rest assured by this answer, Shao Han’s question suddenly entered the bottom of his heart.

Yao Sen was a man who clearly understood what he wanted. He understood his each and every move and his own thoughts and desires. Rarely had he ever been confused or at a loss. He wasn’t the type to make excuses or avoid his own problems, and it’s precisely because he knows himself so well that oftentimes, his actions would convey what was in his heart before he even started to think about the whys.

When facing the man in front of him, Yao Sen didn’t want to lie to himself.

He said, “Don’t worry, I think of Xiao Meng as a little sister too.”

Shao Han smiled faintly and said, “You don’t know how happy Xiao Meng would be if she heard you say that.”

Yao Sen sighed slightly in his heart, he thought of Xiao Men as a sister because he wanted this good brother of hers.

That night as soon as Yao Sen returned to his bedroom, Wang Yuxi keenly smelled the spicy crayfish smell on his body, immediately seizing Yao Sen and interrogating him whether he had just gone to eat crayfish.

Yao Sen was not surprised in the least that Wang Yuxi, who was well versed in scouring the city’s major snack streets and knew all the late-night snack shops and popular milk tea places, had picked up on it with that dog nose of his, and confessed magnanimously. Wang Yuxi immediately grabbed his phone and sold Yao Sen out to the group chat, dragging him for a while.

Wang Yuxi: Just now, Yao Sen actually went behind our backs to eat spicy crayfish!!

Bai Yue: wtf Yao Sen you’ve gone too far

Wang Yuxi: He went to eat by himself and didn’t even bring some back for us!!!!

Wang Yuxi: Where’s the justice for this kind of person!!!

Wang Yuxi: Lao-Song come out and see, this is your male god’s true face @SongMingZhe

Bai Yue: He’s soloing

Bai Yue: And he’ll only help Yao Sen criticise us anyway

Bai Yue: Yao Sen, you went out to eat alone?

Yao Sen: Shao Han invited me

Bai Yue: How could Shao Han invite you to eat and not invite me too?? He’s definitely not that kind of guy.

Wang Yuxi: Shao ge is a real dog

Yao Sen: I saw that you two were busy so I didn’t call you guys

Wang Yuxi: [rolls eyes at you.jpg]

Wang Yuxi: I’ve got nothing to do but scratch my feet

Bai Yue: We won’t forget about this, you have to treat us next time.

Yao Sen: No problem

After spending an entire day familiarising himself with the new environment, Shao Han felt a little exhausted. When he returned from dinner with Yao Sen, he quickly washed up, intending to rest early.

Shao Han took out his phone charger from his suitcase and looked around, finally deciding to place it inside the nightstand. He pulled open the drawer and found that there was an introductory magazine of Yiyou Building inside it.

He lay down on the bed and opened the magazine. Besides Yiyou Building’s introduction, the magazine also had columns for all the esports teams that currently resided in the building.

In a short while, Noah’s Ark would also be included.

Titans have been here for four years. As Shao Han casually flipped through the magazine, his eyes fixed onto a single picture. It was a photo of Yao Sen leading the Titans’ main team to the Asia Championship last year. After the famous final counterattack that had shaken the esports world, Yao Sen stood on the podium, his head lowered as he kissed his team uniform.

His eyes were pure. Everyone could see his confidence and ardent love for the esports scene as he stood on the winner’s podium.

The brilliant rays on Yao Sen were so intense that it was hard for anyone not to be drawn to that light and admire him. Before he really got to know Yao Sen, Shao Han had always thought that people who stood at the top of their field were probably arrogant and hard to reach.

After actually getting to know him, he found that Yao Sen was indeed a very proud person, but his pride didn’t make him difficult to approach at all. On the contrary, every move he made was wonderfully infectious, making the people around him seem inexplicably confident in themselves as well.

Shao Han stared at the picture of Yao Sen in the magazine for a while. An indescribable emotion welled up somewhere in his heart, and he hurriedly closed the magazine and put it back.
