"Rattle, rattle, rattle." On a corner of the high wall, the sentry had already noticed the abnormality here. The moment Muhammad turned the corner, the sentry's RPK machine gun started firing at this direction.

Bullets whizzed past Muhammad's feet, and he quickly retreated back to the corner. At the same time, he pulled the trigger of the AK-74 rifle in his hand.

"Rattle." Bullets flew out of the gun barrel, reaching the high sentry post on the other side. Instantly, the machine gun on the post fell silent.

What a precise shot! Osama admired from behind. Following Muhammad's gesture, the two of them broke out together.

With the sound of gunfire, chaos erupted throughout the prison.

A squad of Soviet soldiers quickly rushed towards the direction of the gunfire. Their ammunition belts bounced and collided with their hips as they ran.

Soon, they saw two prisoners running out of the prison. They immediately stopped, knelt down, aimed, and fired!

From the prison to the wall, there was an open distance of fifty meters. Running across these fifty meters, Muhammad and Osama still had a chance to survive. If they failed to run this distance, they would be easily eliminated.

Muhammad also knew how dangerous the situation was. At this moment, no matter what, they couldn't run the distance. Muhammad had to abandon the plan to run towards the prison gate, especially since even if they reached there, they couldn't open the gate.

"Rattle, rattle, rattle." With the gunfire, countless bullets formed a curtain of fire, shooting towards Muhammad and Osama. No one could survive such a barrage!

At this moment, Muhammad suddenly fell to the ground, rolled, and then disappeared.

"Cease fire!" the Soviet squad leader shouted.

During the process of Muhammad and Osama running, they passed by a well. Just now, when Muhammad rolled, he accidentally rolled into the well.

The Soviet squad leader saw one prisoner roll into the well, and the other prisoner followed. He immediately ordered to stop firing.

What a suicidal act! The first prisoner might have done it unintentionally, but the second one did it deliberately. These two would rather jump into the well and die than leave their bodies intact, purely to disgust the Soviet guards.

With bodies in the well, it could no longer be used. This prison almost entirely relied on the water from this well.

Thinking of this, the Soviet squad leader felt depressed. He ordered the soldiers to stop firing and slowly surrounded the well.

It was almost dark, and the well was pitch black, making it impossible to see anything.

"What's going on?" a voice sounded in his ear.

The Soviet squad leader looked up and saw a lieutenant colonel and a woman. Although the woman didn't wear a rank, she had a commanding presence. The question just now was asked by her.

"Two prisoners attempted to escape, and we sniped them. Cornered, they jumped into the well and committed suicide," the Soviet squad leader explained to the woman.

Kurnaeva looked at the well and her face changed. "Idiots, you fools from the Caucasus, the prisoners have escaped!"

Escaped? The Soviet squad leader was stunned. The woman in front of him hadn't even looked into the well, yet she knew the prisoners had escaped? How could they escape from a well?

"Immediately seal off all of Jalalabad and find the prisoners!" Kurnaeva said. "The prisoners know many secrets of Moscow!"

Moscow had already confirmed that the intelligence provided by Muhammad was accurate. Upon receiving the response from Moscow, Kurnaeva immediately returned with the officer to interrogate Muhammad again. However, within an hour, the prisoners had escaped. Kurnaeva knew it had to be Muhammad!

He was a cunning opponent!

Suddenly, Kurnaeva squatted down, touched the ground with her hand, and brought it to her nose. She smelled the scent of fresh blood.

Muhammad's arm had been hit by a bullet, and the bullet was still inside. During the interrogation, Kurnaeva had made the wound on his arm worse. Although it had been bandaged before he was thrown into the cell, the intense movements had caused the wound to bleed again.

With this blood, finding Muhammad wouldn't be difficult.

"Bring two Caucasian military dogs over," Kurnaeva said. "Send someone down the well to see where the tunnel leads. Muhammad can't have gone far."

There was actually a tunnel under the well! This shocked everyone, and they admired Kurnaeva's judgment. She knew there was a tunnel just by knowing the prisoners had jumped into the well.

Muhammad also only discovered the tunnel after jumping into the well.

In a desperate situation, Muhammad had no choice. If he didn't jump into the well, he and Osama would have been riddled with bullets the moment the trigger was pulled. They had no choice but to jump into the well.

Originally, Muhammad planned to spread his arms and legs to brace against the well wall when he fell, waiting for the Soviets to approach, and then suddenly attack them. This was a last-resort plan.

However, the well wall was very smooth, and Muhammad's injured arm couldn't support his weight. Additionally, Osama fell down after him, causing Muhammad's body to slide down the well wall.

The depth of the well was unknown. If it was shallow, it wouldn't be a problem, but if it was deep, it could drown them. There was nothing to grab onto in the well, and if they fell in, they wouldn't be able to get out without help.

Just as he was about to hit the water, Muhammad suddenly felt a breeze from the side and felt a surge of hope.

He used all his strength to crawl into the side tunnel and pulled Osama in with him.

Thus, the two entered the tunnel inside the well and slowly moved forward.

At this moment, the sound of Soviet voices came from above; they had arrived.

Since being thrown into this world, Muhammad knew he always had various kinds of luck. Moreover, he wasn't afraid of death. Dying and returning to his original world would be much better than staying here.

The pain in his arm continued, and Muhammad bit the bandage with his teeth, tightening the wound.

The bullet was still inside, constantly tormenting his nerves.

This prison had a long history. A few years ago, there was a case of a prisoner disappearing, which was never solved. No one knew how the prisoner had escaped. Now, Muhammad and Osama had uncovered the mystery.

Although the tunnel was pitch black, the two moved quickly, guided by the cool breeze.

The tunnel wasn't long. After ten minutes, the light ahead suddenly brightened.

A full moon was reflected in the water at the bottom. This was another well. Looking at the rising moon on the water's surface, Muhammad thought of the story of the moon in the water.

At this moment, footsteps and the faint light of a flashlight came from behind the tunnel.

The Soviets had discovered the secret and were catching up! Muhammad was startled and gestured to Osama. The two quickly exited the tunnel.

The Soviet soldier, the squad leader, had failed to kill the two prisoners and was severely negligent. He volunteered to climb down the well and indeed found a tunnel.

He entered the tunnel, flashlight in hand, and moved forward. His only task was to find the tunnel's exit and call for his comrades, especially the two Caucasian military dogs, to chase the prisoners.

The tunnel wasn't long. Soon, he saw a bright light ahead. He had reached the tunnel's exit!

Where was he? He poked his head out of the tunnel and looked up. It was another well!

Wait, something seemed off. He looked around and saw two people clinging to the well wall like lizards, coldly staring at him.

Oh no! The prisoners hadn't escaped! He had pursued them too quickly!

He tried to quickly pull his head back, but suddenly, a sharp pain hit his head, and he lost all feeling.

"Plunk." His body fell into the well.

When Muhammad saw the soldier's head, he had already grabbed a brick from the well wall and smashed it down on the soldier's head. No matter how skilled, one brick could knock anyone out!

After knocking him unconscious, Muhammad and Osama dragged his body out of the tunnel and threw it into the well. Then, they climbed up the brick slots on the well wall.

This was a street corner. It was the 1980s, and tap water wasn't fully available in Jalalabad. Many people still relied on well water. Muhammad climbed out of the well and saw the prison nearby. He felt incredibly lucky to have escaped.

"Thank Allah, we have finally escaped from the Soviet devil's prison," Osama said. "Mr. Muhammad, thank you for saving me. Please allow me to follow you and fight with you..."

"Stop talking nonsense and run!" Muhammad said.

The prison gates opened, and several off-road vehicles drove out. From a distance, Muhammad heard the barking of dogs.

Those damned Soviets, bringing military dogs!

When sending people to track the tunnel, Kurnaeva didn't hesitate. After the soldiers gathered and the military dogs were brought out, Kurnaeva and the lieutenant colonel led the team out.

How many secrets of Moscow did that god-like Muhammad know? How did he know them? How much did the Americans know? Kurnaeva knew that if they didn't find Muhammad, the big shots in Moscow, especially the KGB leaders, wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

The two Caucasian military dogs ran at the front.
