Chapter 184: Choice of defensive weapons

This bedroom is an expanded room after upgrading. It is the same size as Chen

Xin’s original bedroom. A white bed is leaning against the wall, and the bed

is covered with a clean white sheet and a brown blanket. It's so neat and tidy

that people can't bear to mess it up.

This is an upgraded version of the high and low bed previously made by Chen

Xin. The material is obviously not steel pipe, but a material with a touch of

metal texture, and the shape is more like what would appear in science fiction

works.

In addition to the bed, there is a desk and a small round table in the room.

The desk and bed are at one end of the room, leaning against two corners

respectively, while the small round table is placed at the other end of the

room with a small round table next to it. Oxygen box for planting green

plants.

This is the equipment after Chen Xin used a spare oxygen generator in the

warehouse as an upgrade material to add, and can plant green plants in the box

to provide more oxygen to the bedroom.

But now this oxygen generator is still empty, so it is obvious that seeds need

to be added additionally.

Looking at this empty planting box, Chen Xin planned to turn around and

transplant a part of the vanilla that Hong Rui had agreed to plant. While

increasing oxygen, he could also use the natural aroma of vanilla to increase

the effect of calming and concentrating.

In addition to these, there is a white radiator under the wall with the desk.

This is a heating device connected to the ground source heat pump to provide

enough warmth for the bedroom. Even after the upgrade, the bedroom’s thermal

insulation performance is enough Make sure it is very comfortable inside.

The light in the room comes from the two light strips on the ceiling. The

unobtrusive warm color light adds a sense of warmth to the room and makes the

bedroom more comfortable.

As for the two wardrobes placed at the foot of the bed and in the other

corner, they are nothing but ordinary wardrobes.

On the contrary, the material of the wall is something that Chen Xin cares

about. It feels like plastic steel when he reaches out and touches it. The

matte texture of the surface does not reflect strongly, and it feels very

comfortable.

After inspecting the room and experimenting with the smart home and

temperature adjustment functions mentioned in the system upgrade plan, Chen

Xin can be considered to understand where the technology level +1 and life

support level +1 are reflected.

At the door of the room, there is a device similar to a touch screen on the

wall. After opening, the room can be set up, and then it will intelligently

adjust the light, temperature, ventilation, etc. of the room according to the

settings, and monitor the air humidity, Various data such as body comfort,

even music can be played.

There are also several chairs in the room. One is a backrest chair in front of

the desk, and the other three are low sofas in front of a small round table.

Chen Xin tried it and they were all comfortable to sit on.

After experiencing the comfort of the room upgrade, Chen Xin felt extremely

satisfied with it, and deeply felt that the survival points and resources he

had spent were not in vain, which had actually improved his quality of life.

However, after checking this bedroom, which is to be used as a guest room,

Chen Xin also checks his own bedroom.

After all, Chen Xin put a lot of things in his bedroom. The entry with the

technology level +1 made him very coveted. He was eager to see if the things

in the bedroom could also be controlled by this attribute. cover.

However, when he returned to his room, he inevitably showed a disappointed

expression. The weapon cabinet and laptop, the two items he most looked

forward to, were not upgraded.

The whole room is like a replica of the next room, except that there is an

extra weapon cabinet and workbench beside the desk.

All of Chen Xin's personal belongings were still displayed as they were, and

even the wine under the bed was put in the upgraded drawer under the bed.

Although Chen Xin looked disappointed at all this, he was not dissatisfied.

After all, this was just the upgrade he had hoped for, but these things could

not be included in the bedroom strictly speaking.

No longer worrying about this matter, Chen Xin sat in front of the weapon

workbench and decided to make a few defensive weapons, which were added when

upgrading the gate to increase the defense of the gate.

The crossbow was excluded by Chen Xin from the choice of defensive weapons.

It's not that the crossbow is not easy to use. The heavy crossbow he installed

in the corridor has quite terrifying power. If someone is shot at the door,

the power will not be less than that of being hit by a large-caliber anti-

material sniper rifle at close range. One shot.

The key problem is that the arms and strings of the crossbow have high

requirements for materials, and the service life of the crossbow will be

seriously affected in the low temperature and severe cold environment.

Although there is a weapon cabinet attribute that can be used to maintain

weapons, so far, Chen Xin has not used this function, and he is not sure about

the weapon cabinet used for bow and crossbow damage in severe cold

environments. Can the function be repaired?

So what Chen Xin plans to do is still a gun.

Although there is only one pistol drawing in the system drawing on the

workbench, the structure of the firearm is the same. It is not impossible to

transform the pistol to create a more powerful firearm~www.mtlnovel .com~ And

no matter how bad it is, it is not impossible to make a pistol and then

upgrade it to a mini submachine gun.

What's more, there are various materials in Chen Xin’s computer, including

firearms drawings, from the most old-fashioned flintlock rifles to the Mauser

rifles and Lienfeld rifles that have fought in World War I and World War II.

Something invented ten or even a hundred years ago, but no one says that

ancient weapons can't kill people. Swords and swords have been used by mankind

for thousands of years. Isn't it the same as it is today?

At the beginning, Chen Xin's collection of these drawings was just to

accumulate writing materials and was also a personal hobby, but I have to say

that these drawings are a valuable asset for him now, and they have also

helped a lot.

Chen Xin didn't plan to make a rifle. As for the pistol, he didn't bother to

flip through the system drawings. What he wanted to make was a machine gun.

After all, although the old-fashioned Maxim machine gun was the world’s first

truly successful gunpowder automatic weapon, it killed 60,000 people in a

single day in the Battle of the Somme in the First World War. In the 1970s,

the Yan State still used this old-fashioned firearm, even though it was only

equipped with militia forces.

If a Maxim machine gun that can cover the entire gate is set up in the

observation room above the gate of the refuge, Chen Xin feels that even if

there is a troop to attack his refuge, it will still be attacked without heavy

weapons. Not coming in.

As for the drawings of the Maxim machine gun, this kind of weapon drawings

that have been used for more than a hundred years are really easy to find.

There are also a lot of drawings for its derivative models. When there is a

network, you can find it by searching the Internet. There are several

different types of drawings in Chen Xin's computer.

Now he only made it.
