Chapter 19: Prepare for the last hand, before entering the shelter

Whether the missile defense system that the Federation is proud of can

intercept the meteorite Chen Xin is not known. He only knows that the

meteorite is really going to fall this time.

Although the hostess on the TV who was excitedly saying that the Lucia

spacecraft will guide the nuclear bomb to destroy the meteorite, although she

is still pretending to be calm and saying the same, her expression has now

become very serious, even Still with a bit of tension and panic.

After all, more than 20 nuclear bombs were originally prepared for a meteorite

with a diameter of four kilometers. Although there is a suspicion of excess

equivalent, they are enough to block the impact of the meteorite.

But now the task of the Lucians and more than twenty nuclear bombs is still to

intercept meteorites, but the target they need to intercept has changed from a

meteorite with a diameter of four kilometers to three meteorites with a

diameter of five kilometers, and these three meteorites are still Under a kind

of gravitational pull, it started a disorderly three-sana movement, which made

the interception mission more difficult.

In this case, even if Chen Xin's astronomical knowledge is not very

professional, he still feels that the chances of the Lucians being able to

intercept all three meteorites are slim.

They may be able to knock down one or two, but knocking out all three is too

difficult for the Lucias who are responsible for guiding the nuclear bomb at

this time.

In the previous live broadcast, in order to increase the public’s confidence

in the interception of the nuclear bomb, the host once specifically explained

that all nuclear bomb trajectories have been calculated and adjusted to ensure

that all nuclear bombs can arrive at roughly the same time. The interception

site is then guided by the Lucia spacecraft to achieve a precise one-time hit.

But this also caused the Lucias to only aim, and then all the nuclear bombs

smashed through this operation.

If there is only one goal, then there is nothing to say, just go up.

If there are two goals, as long as they are not exactly one after the other,

they can be eliminated.

But now the Lucias have to face three goals. They are still doing Brownian

motion and their trajectories are irregular. They only know that they will hit

the three goals of Blue Star!

You need to know that multiple nuclear warheads on both sides will arrive at

the same time. As long as one of the three meteorites blocks in front of the

other two meteorites, then all the nuclear bombs will hit one meteorite,

leaving the other two meteorites unscathed!

In this case, it is the best result for the Lucias to destroy two meteorites,

their character is against the sky!

As for the four-kilometer meteorite that crashed into North America, Chen Xin

was too lazy to care about it. Whether the missile defense system that the

Federation is proud of can intercept it is a question that does not need to be

asked at all.

The so-called missile defense system is not designed to intercept meteorites,

but to intercept ballistic missiles launched by other countries.

Although a ballistic missile is undoubtedly more difficult to hit than a

meteorite with a diameter of four kilometers, the former only needs an

ordinary missile to hit it, while the latter requires a large-yield strategic

nuclear bomb to be destroyed by saturation bombing. , The difficulty of

interception is obviously that the latter is an order of magnitude more

difficult than the former.

Moreover, this system was designed to intercept missiles. The core ground-

based interceptor is just an ordinary missile, not a ballistic missile

equipped with a nuclear warhead. Whether the Federalists can intercept in time

will have to ask a question mark, let alone near the ground. The orbit uses a

large-yield nuclear bomb!

That will let the radioactive dust contaminated on meteorite debris fill the

atmosphere! Especially when a nuclear bomb can't blow up a meteorite at all,

the Federalists will definitely use saturation strikes and use multiple

nuclear bombs to ensure that they can destroy the meteorite.

If you are lucky, you may pollute a place in North America. If you are not

lucky, then the whole world will start a nuclear war wasteland copy.

Facing such a situation, Chen Xin could only plan for the worst, no matter how

he hoped that mankind would be able to withstand this crisis.

Pack the TV, wrap it with the last bedding left to sleep, and then tie it up

with a rope. Chen Xin glanced around at his home, and after bidding his final

farewell, he walked toward his underground refuge without hesitation. .

With the impact of the meteorite, I probably won't have the chance to return

to this room again. Even if I can come back, I am afraid I will never live

here again.

This thought made Chen Xin a little sad, but after a few minutes of emotion,

he picked up the bundled bedding and the TV, locked the door, and left the

room, holding things towards his refuge. go with.

In the coming days, there will be his new home.

As he walked to the shelter, Chen Xin’s mobile phone was still playing the

live broadcast of the TV station. The Lucias had already started the

interception. At this time, the screen was full of rocket boosters carrying

nuclear bombs. The tail flames are densely packed at first glance, UU reading

www.uukanshu. com even blocked the meteorite as big as a mountain in their

direction.

Chen Xin couldn't help stopping after seeing this scene.

With so many nuclear bombs, maybe, should, may be able to blow up meteorites?

If the meteorite blows up, you don’t need to hide in the shelter, right?

Chen Xin held such hopes and prayed the last prayer, praying that those so-

called gods and destiny would take care of mankind, and give mankind good luck

in the last fight of mankind's struggle for fate.

On the screen, more than 20 nuclear bombs carrying the hope of mankind flew

toward three meteorites. At this moment, the fate of mankind all over the

world is tied to these more than 20 nuclear bombs.

The weapons that once represented destruction and killing carry the hope of

human survival at this moment. This has to be said to be a great irony.

But no one cares about this at this moment. What everyone hopes is that

nuclear bombs can destroy meteorites and blow them into a pile of fragments.

Carrying the hope of mankind, the first nuclear bomb touched the meteorite and

burst out with a bright and dazzling light, just like a flower of hope

blooming in the universe.

Chen Xin couldn't help but raised his head and looked at the sky, where a

small flash of light lit up, which was the light produced by the nuclear bomb

explosion.

Immediately, more flashes lit up, illuminating Chen Xin's mobile phone screen

into a vast expanse of whiteness. At the same time, the most powerful weapon

made by mankind also bloomed on top of Chen Xin's head.

The light produced by the nuclear bomb explosion is connected in the sky,

dazzling as if the second sun has risen.

"Did it blow up?" Chen Xin's eyes were staring at the dazzling white spots in

the sky like the second sun, letting the dazzling light sting, his eyes sting

and he didn't want to move it even for a second. Just to be able to know the

result the first time.
