Chapter 201: Preparation before departure

Returning to his hometown to pick up his parents is the most urgent thing for

Chen Xin now.

Originally, lack of suitable transportation was the biggest obstacle

restricting him to do this, but now that the car has been remodeled, this

matter has also been put on the agenda, and it has become something Chen Xin

is about to do.

It's just that no matter how urgent he is, this is still not a trip that just

walks away.

Although there are vehicles now, but the road is far away, water and food must

be adequately prepared, and other related materials are also indispensable.

After all, he doesn't know what is going on with his parents.

The last news Chen Xin received before the disaster was that his parents and

family relatives had entered the village shelter.

All the people in that village are relatives of the family, and since the

construction of the refuge, Chen Xin has been advising them about various

precautions and the construction of survival facilities. Chen Xin told him

what he prepared for him. What do they prepare.

Therefore, the living conditions of the mountain village refuge were not bad,

and it was almost the same as the refuge before Chen Xin did not use the

system upgrade, and even because it was large enough, it might be more

comfortable to live in.

Therefore, Chen Xin is not worried about the danger or trouble his parents and

relatives will encounter. The village is still more than a dozen miles away

from the nearest town, and it takes an hour to drive to the county seat. Who

would be interested in such a remote mountain village.

But even though it is said, no one can predict what will happen. The closed

environment in the mountains avoids interference from the outside world, but

also brings great inconvenience to the contact between the mountain village

refuge and the outside world.

After all, the nearest town of Duli village has more than ten miles of roads,

and the mountain road itself is not easy to walk. Now it is not easy to enter

the mountain under the condition of heavy snow.

If something happens in the mountains, whether it is to ask for help or go in

for assistance, it will be very difficult.

Although Chen Xin didn't think anything big would happen to the mountain

village refuge, he had no guarantee that it would not happen there.

In order to deal with possible situations, Chen Xin must make sufficient

preparations before he can set off.

No one knows what will happen to the 600-kilometer road on this road. Whether

or not there will be a shelter on the road is also difficult to say. Chen Xin

must plan for the worst.

The distance of more than 600 kilometers refers to the highway before the

disaster. This road used to rely on the service area for rest and supplies,

but in this case, it is very likely that there will be no shelters along the

way. , Unless Chen Xin specifically enters the city.

If he is unable to supply supplies all the way or encounters a refuge, then he

must at least prepare enough supplies in the car for this route.

Thinking of the supplies, Chen Xin couldn't help but ask Qin Lan: "Alan, there

are so many things happening in the city, can the SWAT team come to exchange

supplies this month?"

"It should be possible. Although there are indeed many things recently, the

matter of material exchange itself should not be affected, that is, the

materials used for exchange may be less satisfactory." Qin Lan thought for a

while and felt that there should be no hindrance to this matter. Material

exchange can be carried out normally.

Chen Xin nodded to express his understanding, but after thinking about it, he

said to Qin Lan: "Then you can contact Uncle Ding for me and tell him that I

will use the supplies of the next two months as collateral and advance some

supplies with him. If you want to return home to pick up my parents, you need

to prepare sufficient supplies."

"It might be a little difficult." Qin Lan couldn't help but frown when she

heard Chen Xin's request: "Although the material exchange can proceed as

usual, all the staff of the SWAT team should be devoted to handling the recent

attack. Extra energy to collect supplies.

A Xin, you should have no problem in exchanging food and other materials, but

other materials are enough. I can only try to help you tell the captain. I

can't guarantee what you can exchange. "

"Alright, I also understand the current situation of the SWAT team. I will

give you a list later, mainly for building materials and steel. What can I

change?" Chen Xin knows the current situation of the SWAT team, so Understand

what Qin Lan said.

But he plans to upgrade the shelter as a whole before setting off to pick up

his parents, plus the supplies that he has to go out. Materials and supplies

are indispensable.

"Okay, turn around and give me the list, and I will ask the captain." Qin Lan

nodded and agreed to the matter.

————————————————

Because the car has been remodeled, Chen Xin will start loading all kinds of

supplies into the car in the next time.

Naturally, water and food must be loaded onto the car immediately.

For Chen Xin, there is no shortage of food. There is still a lot of food in

his storage room so far. Even if he eats it alone, it is enough for half a

year.

He took two boxes of unopened refuge food from the storage room and put them

on the car. Chen Xin estimated that the distance on the road is more than 600

kilometers, and the total distance should be 1,300 to 1,300. One thousand and

four hundred kilometers.

If there is something wrong with the road and a detour is needed, it may take

1,500 kilometers.

Chen Xin conservatively calculates that he will travel 50 kilometers a day,

and it will take about a month for the whole journey to come down.

Two boxes of refuge food are considered to be his basic food rations during

this month's journey. If there is no supply on the road, these foods are his

basic food rations.

In addition to the two boxes of refuge food, Chen Xin also planted lettuce in

the planting box on the car and brought a bag of seeds.

These lettuce are not only rations, but also can be used to exchange food

supplies with shelters or supply points encountered on the road when

necessary. Although there may be no supply points on this road, there are four

provinces and several on the road. Cities, if necessary, you can go to the

shelters in these cities.

Of course, these are just materials prepared to deal with unexpected

situations. What Chen Xin really intends to use to eat on the road is a box of

canned luncheon meat and a box of self-heating food.

In addition, he plans to prepare one hundred catties of dehydrated vegetables

and one hundred catties of rice for himself, and plans to prepare two boxes of

refuge food after the material exchange is completed this month, so that even

if he receives his parents, Chen Xin felt that there was enough food on the

way back.

As for the domestic water on the road, Chen Xin doesn't worry about this at

all. After all, there is a water tank with a capacity of five tons, so much

water is enough as long as it is not wasted.

After all, when Chen Xin was alone, he used three tons of water in a month. In

addition, he also prepared a purification filter in the car. When it was not

enough, the snow on the roadside was also a source of water.

He took a flushing water pipe from the washing room next to the garage, and

while pouring water into the water tank, Chen Xin was still thinking about

what he hadn't prepared yet.

He doesn't need gasoline. There are three isotope thermoelectric batteries in

this car, one to power the engine, one to power the cabin, and one to spare or

use the engine when necessary to overload the engine.

Each isotope temperature difference battery has a service life of more than

ten years and a rated output power of 200KW. There is no need to worry about

running out of fuel along the way.

Food has also been filled in the trunk. One hundred catties of rice, one

hundred catties of dehydrated vegetables, one box of self-heating food and one

box of canned food are the main food on the road. Four boxes of refuge food

are emergency reserves, even if there is an accident. Enough to eat.

The water is being added by itself. The outlet of this water tank is connected

to a purification filter. If necessary, you can shovel snow from the side of

the road and throw it into the water tank as a water source. There is no fear

that the water tank may be contaminated.

Other things to prepare...

Just when Chen Xin was calculating what he needed to prepare, Qin Lan, who had

already contacted the SWAT team, came to him and said to him: "I have already

told the captain about the exchange of materials~www.mtlnovel .com~The captain

said that there is no problem with what you want. You can also agree to

advance the transaction materials for the next two months in advance, but the

captain said there is a prerequisite for all this."

"Prerequisites? What conditions?" Chen Xin looked at Qin Lan, and told Ding

Shu that he was willing to exchange materials only if there were

prerequisites. This did not surprise him, or there was nothing unacceptable.

"The city government intends to open a previously closed small refuge, and

wants to use the ground source heat pump technology you previously provided to

the team as the heating and power generation facilities for this small

refuge." Qin Lan looked at Chen Xin with a calm expression. He explained: "The

small shelter is about the same size as the one allocated by the city

government to Li Yulong, so the captain asked me to ask you about how many

ground source heat pumps are needed to meet the heating and electricity needs

of such a shelter, and how long are you? What materials are needed for

delivery in time."

After listening to Qin Lan's introduction, Chen Xin raised his eyebrows and

was a little surprised, but he felt that it made sense: "Is the city

government planning to adopt a new model?"

"It may be affected by the coal burning tension this time, so I want to share

the risk." Qin Lan doesn't know why the city government did this, but there is

nothing strange about the city government doing this: "Axin, you can solve it.

Is this a problem?"

"It's not difficult to meet the heating needs of a small refuge. As for

electricity..." Chen Xin touched his chin, thought for a moment, and said: "If

you don't consider building a greenhouse like Xiaolong, fifty ground source

heat pumps It should be able to meet the heating and basic lighting power

consumption, but this figure is only my estimate, and I can't guarantee that

it will be enough. As for the delivery, it may take two weeks, and the

materials are still the same as the last transaction."
