Chapter 401: Shelter renovation

"Alan, Long Niang, do you think there are any areas that need to be renovated

in the current refuge?" In his refuge, Chen Xin spread out a blueprint of the

current refuge on the table and asked the person sitting in the room. Qin Lan

and Mo Qingyan asked.

Now that he decided to upgrade his refuge and the scientific research base to

be built together with the military camp, Chen Xin decided to ask everyone's

opinions and see how to adjust his refuge.

Following Chen Xin's inquiry, the blueprints spread out on the table also

projected a 3D stereoscopic projection. The light blue lines formed the

structure of the current shelter, and a text description was carefully

accompanied by it.

Looking at the projection of the shelter in front of him, Qin Lan asked Chen

Xin curiously: "Axin, do you want to transform the shelter?"

"Yes, I have previously accepted the title of academician of the highest

academy of sciences issued by the country and the corresponding treatment. One

of them is to build a scientific research base for me. I plan to put this

scientific research base on it and also renovate the shelter by the way. "Chen

Xin explained to Qin Lan and gave them a special look: "I was the only one

living in the past, and the subsequent renovation was nothing more than adding

a few more rooms and adjusting the structure. But now you still have parents

and Koreans. Ping and their two brothers live here, it would be better to

remodel them."

"That's true, but the amount of construction required to renovate the refuge

is a lot. It's a bit of a hassle to hit walls and excavate earth and rocks?

Now that the refuge is very comfortable, I don't think it is necessary to

toss." Mo Qingyan listened. After Chen Xin's words, he shook his head, as if

he did not support Chen Xin's reconstruction of the shelter.

This is normal. After all, if you don’t use system upgrades, from the

perspective of a normal person, if you want to renovate an already built

underground shelter on a large scale, the amount of construction is really

huge. It is not necessary.

Chen Xin couldn’t comment on this. He just nodded slightly, but he still asked

the two of them: “I will solve the construction problem. Without considering

the construction problem, do you think there is any improvement in the shelter

now? ?"

Hearing Chen Xin's question, Qin Lan and Mo Qingyan looked at each other.

Although they didn't understand why Chen Xin had to renovate the shelter that

seemed to live in a comfortable shelter, they still did not resolutely oppose

Chen Xin. Design drawing, put forward an idea, this is nothing.

So after the two of them thought about it, Qin Lan took the lead and said: "I

think it would be great if there is a combat training room. This time, Axin

you were assassinated. If you can receive some combat training and can

respond, that It’s not easy for people to pinch your neck."

"Fight training room? You can add it, and you can also use it to exercise at

ordinary times." Chen Xin thought for a while and thought this suggestion was

good. After all, he had thought about getting a place for exercise before, but

he forgot to forget it later. That's it.

While agreeing, Chen Xin pointed his finger on the blueprint, made a few

adjustments, and pulled out a house next to the medical room on the first

floor, and the area was enlarged.

Mo Qingyan saw Chen Xin pulling the space on the drawing so large, thinking

that he was just imagining, so she said half-jokingly: "If this is the case, I

think I can draw a special breeding farm. The side area is still enough, but

the chicks have grown a little bit bigger. If you want to raise chickens or

other poultry later, you still need a bigger place."

Mo Qingyan's suggestion is also serious. The hens and chickens hatched from

the eggs that Chen Xin brought back are kept in the planting greenhouse, but

there is only a small area for the activities of these chickens, and the area

is not large.

As the chicks are gradually growing up, the place has obviously become a bit

crowded.

If Chen Xin doesn’t want to use cages to keep the chickens up, as in the past

chicken farms, where the chickens never leave the cage for a lifetime from

chick to slaughter, then make it bigger and at least allow the chickens to

move around. The field is inevitable.

So after Mo Qingyan made suggestions, Chen Xin also raised his hand and pulled

out a space that could be used as a breeding farm next to the original

planting greenhouse.

In addition, Chen Xin adjusted the structure and location of the planting

greenhouse and the height of the entire refuge, pushing the top of the

planting greenhouse out of the ground.

"Eh? Why do you want to poke the roof of the planting greenhouse out of the

ground?" Qin Lan suddenly felt a little uncomprehending when he made such a

modification to Chen Xin.

The entire refuge was placed underground to avoid various natural disasters

caused by the previous meteorite impact. The planting greenhouse is naturally

located under the soil package, but now Chen Xin has adjusted so that the top

of the planting greenhouse is exposed to the ground. It is really puzzling.

"When I was near the market, I observed that at noon every day when the light

was the strongest, the sky would feel slightly bright." Chen Xin replied

something that seemed to have nothing to do with the top of the planting

greenhouse. He immediately added an explanation: “As expected, the dust in the

sky will gradually begin to fall within a year~www.mtlnovel.com~In about three

years, it will gradually return to the original light level.

Although there is still a large amount of dust located in the stratosphere,

the light will be affected, but in general, the sky will be bright after three

years, and the light intensity can reach the light intensity that can appear

under strong haze weather.

Under this kind of light intensity, although the plant growth will be slower,

but with the supplementary light, the crops can still be grown normally. So I

exposed the top of the planting greenhouse to the ground for this, and then I

can install transparent glass and lighting panels on the top of the planting

greenhouse to converge the light, and use sunlight to provide light for the

crops. "

"So, you are planning to use the daylighting board to refract sunlight into

the planting greenhouse?" Mo Qingyan suddenly understood Chen Xin's vision.

This method of refracting sunlight for lighting has actually been used since

ancient times. Many high-rise buildings in modern architecture have also

adopted similar designs. By installing light-refracting panels on the outer

walls of the building, the external sunlight is refracted into the interior

for illumination. Thereby reducing the use of artificial lighting.

"This is a good design, but in this case, wouldn't the refuge have to be

remodeled?" Qin Lan looked at the blueprint changed by Chen Xin and asked him

with some uncertainty.

It's no wonder that Qin Lan didn't ask, but if Chen Xin did so, the changes to

the entire shelter would be too great.

Chen Xin just nodded his head and added some other things to the blueprint.

Then he replied: "The state will pay for this renovation. Of course, some of

the things that were abandoned when the shelter was built must be abandoned

for various reasons. The design is added back!"
