The huge new mobile base travels on the snowy field. Although the huge size

brings all kinds of convenience, it also affects its travel.

Although the original mobile base was huge, it was only the size of two train

cars parked side by side. In today’s world covered by thick snow, there are

basically no obstacles to travel. of.

However, after doubling its size, more consideration must be given to its

traffic capacity.

At least the places where the mobile base could drive past, now this mobile

base can't go there in some places, and the requirements for the flatness of

the ground have become even higher.

The huge wrecker at the front of the car body constantly clears the snow and

makes the ground level as much as possible, so that when the huge car body

moves forward under the support of six rows of crawlers, it will not suffer

from the terrain. Uneven force, causing unnecessary damage.

Although his size was enlarged, Chen Xin still adopted a crawler approach.

It's just that the original four rows and eight crawlers have become the

current six rows and twelve crawlers, and the crawlers themselves have become

wider and longer, which can distribute the weight they bear to the ground more

evenly.

The huge track made a huge noise during its operation, and it was also

constantly vibrating. Fortunately, the mobile base itself has sufficient sound

insulation design and shock absorption measures, so even in the vehicle garage

at the bottom of the car body , I can’t hear too much noise and feel much

vibration.

However, if you open the garage door leading to the outside, there will still

be a huge noise.

After the transformation, the mobile base has one more deck than the original

one. Except for the space that must accommodate the weather controller, the

other parts of this deck are designed as personnel cabins, plus the original

personnel cabins. Bring all the people in the previous base.

It's just that the public space used as a dining hall has obviously shrunk a

lot, so that everyone has to eat in batches and line up. There is no way for

everyone to sit at the table and eat at the same time.

Such a problem is in Chen Xin's expectation. Although it is indeed a design

deficiency, it is not an insurmountable defect in general. After all, it is

not unusual that the cafeteria cannot accommodate everyone at the same time.

This problem can be solved perfectly as long as you control your meal time

separately. The only thing you may need to worry about is that if all the

staff have a meeting, this public space may not be enough.

But in that case, you can use the hangar on the top deck.

Although about one-third of the top deck is occupied by the weather

controller, the size of the hangar is still larger than the original hangar,

and the landing platform protruding from the side has also changed from the

original accommodating four helicopters. There were six, half of the original

number.

Although the hangar has increased a lot, the helicopters on board have not

been replenished, so the original number of helicopters has made the hangar a

little empty.

Now from the hangar, what you see is not the empty top deck, the command room

on the ship island, and a solitary naval gun. The huge microwave projection

antenna is installed on the top deck, just like a huge iron pot.

It's just that this pot can neither be used for cooking, nor can it be filled

with things, it is used to project microwaves.

In this upgrade, Chen Xin also adjusted the original naval gun, upgraded it

from a 130mm naval gun to a dual-mounted 150mm, so that it can fire special

shells and project chemical agents to the designated area. It will be much

faster, and the response speed of the weather controller will become faster.

As the mobile base under his command has been upgraded, the captain as the

mobile base is naturally full of joy, although this means he has to

familiarize himself with the new environment again, but this does not affect

his good mood.

May I ask who doesn't want to command a larger warship? If you can be the

captain of an aircraft carrier, I'm afraid no one would want to continue to be

the captain of a destroyer, right?

This joy of joy also made the captain want to better complete his work, and

imposed new strict requirements on all operators on the mobile base, and

conducted several exercises to simulate various situations. response.

I have to say that these soldiers are all good. Although they have not been

familiar with the mobile base for a long time, and now they have changed to a

new environment, they have quickly adapted to the new mobile base and allowed

it to operate in the shortest possible time. Get up, and play 100% efficiency

and function.

Chen Xin is naturally very satisfied with this situation. In the past few days

after leaving Lucia, as the captain and operators became familiar with the

entire mobile base, some of the minor problems and unreasonable points they

raised were also It was resolved under Chen Xin's upgrade.

Even Chen Xin realized on the mobile base an idea he had when he transformed

the land cruiser into a mobile base last time, that is, adding a small

planting greenhouse to the mobile base.

The greenhouse was placed at the rear of the car body, and it looked like a

piece protruding from the top deck to the second deck.

The greenhouse adopts a vertical planting mode, and still draws on the

technology of the ecological greenhouse, which can carry a variety of crops

and solve the food problem for the occupants on the mobile base.

However, the area of this greenhouse is small and the output is not large.

Although it can solve the diet problem, if the entire mobile base points to

the output of this greenhouse, it is not enough. It still needs to be

supplemented from the outside~www.mtlnovel. The existence of com~greenhouse

only makes the mobile base's self-sustaining ability stronger. Even if there

is no external supply, it can still obtain the supply of fresh vegetables, so

that the crew on the mobile base will not fall into the voyage due to the lack

of fresh vegetables. In the era, those crew members suffered from sepsis from

malnutrition.

In addition, Chen Xin also marked a small test area in a corner of the top

hangar to carry out some necessary tests, such as making special shells filled

with chemicals.

This test area is not permanent. After Chen Xin and the others evacuated the

mobile base, it can be cleaned up. However, it currently needs to carry out

the task of manufacturing special shells and transforming the original

ammunition.

After all, Chen Xin increased the caliber of the naval guns, but the original

shells were no longer matched, and all the ammunition needed to be rebuilt.

Without Chen Xin, this batch of ammunition would of course be unusable, but

Chen Xin had a system upgrade, which would not let this batch of ammunition go

to waste.

The reason why new special shells were made on the way back to China was that

Chen Xin planned to conduct several more start-up tests of the weather

controller on his way back to China to test the effect of the weather

controller in different environments.
