Chapter 644: Junshan Island

Following the traces left by the unknown creature, Chen Xin and the Titan

Combat Team finally breathed a sigh of relief. The worst situation did not

happen. The unknown creature did not come from the city, but from a more

lateral direction. .

"It approached the city, but it went around again." Standing on the edge of

the city, carefully identifying the traces on the ground, the scout of the

combat team reported to Chen Xin.

"Weird, it is reasonable to say that it should have entered the city. What

caused it to detour?" Chen Xin looked at the footprints on the ground, a

little puzzled.

This kind of creature has very strong combat effectiveness. In the natural

environment of Blue Star, there are no animals that can threaten its survival.

Even an elephant can hardly resist its attack. It should have no natural

enemies, except for humans. Apart from natural disasters, there is nothing

that can threaten it.

Judging from the footprints on the ground, this unidentified creature had

obviously stopped in this place and patrolled for a while. Only then did it

reverse its original straight line toward the city, leaning towards the

direction of the scientific research center, and finally encountered Chen Xin.

This kind of behavior is really not like a low-IQ animal that relies on

instinctive action, or is there something in the urban area that makes it

fear?

Chen Xin didn't get too entangled with this issue, but just noted the incident

on the task board, and then led the combat team to continue tracking it down.

"This direction is about to approach the lake area. Did that monster come out

of the lake area?" After continuing to track the traces of the unknown

creature, Qin Lan quickly judged the unknown creature by relying on the map

displayed by Zhu Luan on the radar. The direction of coming.

Naturally, Chen Xin could judge the same thing on Bailong’s map, but this

incident did not surprise him: “It’s not surprising, if it’s the lake area,

it’s normal that we haven’t found its tracks. , Otherwise, such a large

creature would have been spotted a long time ago."

When Qin Lan heard Chen Xin say this, she didn't say much, but more and more

wanted to find out the source of this unknown creature and figure out what was

going on.

But Chen Xin was thinking about what happened to this unknown creature and why

it appeared in front of him.

Chen Xin didn't think that the unknown creature was just an ordinary wild

animal, because in the wild, animals would not actively attack humans in many

cases.

The instinct of living creatures is to survive and seek advantages and avoid

harm. Under normal circumstances, humans are not on the diet of wild

predators. When they see humans, they wonder what kind of creature this is,

and they will not actively provoke humans when they are not hungry. Not to

mention proactively launching an attack.

Under normal circumstances, when being attacked by large predators in the

wild, it is most likely that humans have invaded their areas and frightened

these animals, so they will conduct self-defense attacks on humans.

However, the unknown creature Chen Xin encountered did not show this aspect.

At that time, it almost saw the white dragon driven by Chen Xin, so it rushed

forward and launched an attack.

This is completely incompatible with animal habits, because no animal will

attack an opponent larger than it under normal circumstances, unless it is

stimulated and thinks its life is threatened, and it cannot escape, it will

fight to the death. .

However, Chen Xin was only testing Mo Qingyan's new body, Lu Shu, and when he

saw an unknown creature appear, he did not pose a threat to the unknown

creature at all. It shouldn't have a reason to attack the white dragon.

And what is particularly strange is that Bailong, Zhu Luan, and the new body

Lu Shu are all equipped with radar and other detection equipment, but as a

result, this unknown creature is not found on the radar. This is completely

unreasonable.

It should be known that the unknown creature is huge and its body temperature

is also a very obvious heat source. Even the bio-radar and infrared sensing

equipment carried on the ordinary Titan should be found out of sight, but

until it launches an attack, at that time None of the three specially

installed Titans responded, which is quite weird.

So is it a pure alien species, or a more dangerous alien invasion?

The former is easy to say, it's a big deal to add the name of an alien

creature to the list of human extinct creatures, but the latter...

Chen Xin can only hope that the country is ready to fight a war with alien

life.

The limited living space on the Blue Star cannot accommodate another

intelligent life group outside of human civilization.

Just as Chen Xin thought about it, they gradually followed the traces left by

unknown creatures and arrived in the lake area.

This was once one of the largest freshwater lakes in Yan Country, but when the

sea level rises due to the meteorite impact, the sea water poured in here,

expanding the area of the original 800-mile water park Dongting to the

extent of the ancient Yunmeng Daze. The lake area The area has also been

greatly expanded.

As for Junshan Island in the original Dongting Lake, UU Reading

www.uukanshu.com is now basically disconnected from the land. When Chen Xin

went to the farm to inspect the construction of the ecological greenhouse last

time, he noticed that it was originally connected to Junshan Island. The tidal

flats were submerged by rising water and are now frozen into ice.

The area of the entire lake area is quite vast. After all, it is known as

the Eight Hundred Mile Water Park Dongting in history. The water area reaches

more than 2,000 square kilometers. After the water surface rises and freezes

into ice, it becomes a vast ice sheet.

And this also reduces human control of this area to almost zero. After all, in

the current environment, no one wants to live here.

But now, the situation has obviously changed. In places where humans cannot

survive, unknown creatures have survived.

The group followed the traces left by the unknown creatures, and gradually

approached the former Junshan Island.

"Academician, the front is Junshan Island. Judging from the traces we tracked,

the unknown creatures should have come from the island!" The scouts in the

team reported to Chen Xin.

"It seems that there have been changes that we don't know about on the

island..." Chen Xin thought about it after hearing the scouts say so, and then

said in the communication channel: "Call the Air Force and let them send

helicopters to the entire Junshan Mountain from the air. The island is

investigating, I want to know what's going on on the island!"

Chen Xin did not rashly bring the combat team to the island. When the

situation on the island is still unclear, it is safest to let the helicopter

conduct aerial reconnaissance and confirm the general situation.

Going to the island hastily, in case there is any danger on the island that

they can't solve, and putting the entire combat team in danger, that is the

most stupid way to do it.

Of course, if the helicopter's aerial reconnaissance cannot find anomalies,

then they must also be duty-bound to board the island and figure out what is

happening on the island.
