Chapter 668: Mobile base finally arrives on the battlefield

When the officer came out of the barracks following the noise, he was greeted

by a huge steel artifact.

Eight broad crawlers ran over the snow beside the camp, making the feet feel

violent vibrations, and the huge chassis erected on the eight crawlers and the

two hundred meters long and ten-storey steel artifacts on the chassis seemed

to be driven ashore. Like the aircraft carrier, it gives people a great sense

of oppression.

Especially when there were helicopters taking off and landing on this huge

steel creation, the officers really felt that the navy, which was equivalent

to the cancellation of the organization, finally got the warship frozen in the

sea ashore.

Because the huge steel creation in front of me is too much like an aircraft

carrier going ashore.

But this is not a real aircraft carrier, just a mobile base.

"The country has finally sent this thing!" Another officer beside the officer

suddenly spoke and exclaimed.

The officer looked sideways and found out that he was an acquaintance. He

asked, "Pharaoh, do you know this thing? Tell me!"

When the officer asked this, the other officers who had taken turns to rest

next to him obviously also noticed what the old Wang said just now, and they

all cast their eyes on them.

"This is a mobile base. Last year, the country brought back things from

Siberia. I also heard others talk about it." Lao Wang's troops are elite and

have more information.

Although what he said was what others had said before, in fact the mobile base

was parked at the station where their troops were, and they were responsible

for defending.

It's just that this kind of information is classified as confidential, and

obviously it cannot be said casually.

Listening to Lao Wang’s words, the other officers all showed a stunned

expression. Only the officer who asked the question before continued to ask

Lao Wang, “What’s the use of this thing? It looks like an aircraft carrier,

it’s not. Used to take off and land helicopters?"

"I don't know this anymore. I also heard others say that this thing can be

used for battlefield support and should be combat effective?" Old Wang said

ambiguously. Although he knew some things, he still did everything in order to

avoid leaks. did not say.

Several officers saw that they couldn't get more information, and they

dispersed after watching the mobile base for a while.

Basically, everyone has either just withdrawn from the battlefield or is ready

to go to the battlefield. No one has any extra leisure to watch the excitement

here. It is serious to seize the time to rest and prepare.

The same was true for the officer who had just been withdrawn from the

battlefield, but he couldn't help but have a slight expectation for the mobile

base.

If the country only put it on the battlefield now, it obviously believes that

the arrival of a mobile base can provide support for the battlefield.

For their commanders and fighters who are fighting on the front line, no

matter how much support there is, a little more support can alleviate the

pressure on the front line.

Therefore, for the arrival of the mobile base, the officers still hold on to

expectations, hoping to see the performance of the mobile base on the

battlefield.

But the mobile base did not let the officer wait and disappoint. When he took

turns to fight on the battlefield again, the officer saw what the mobile base

was for.

With the aid of aerial reconnaissance, the mobile base locates the situation

behind the alien creatures, and then several missiles are launched from the

deck of the mobile base to attack the alien creatures.

The missile is not used to directly attack the line of aliens. Although this

can reduce the pressure on the front line, it is also effective. To achieve

such an effect, it is good to use shelling. There is no need to use missiles.

The real target of the missile is the cavern out of the extraterrestrial

creatures discovered by aerial reconnaissance.

Even if the alien creatures have a strong digging ability, it is obviously not

that easy to dig a hole like this used to transport troops to the battlefield.

Once it is bombed, it will undoubtedly have an impact on the extraterrestrial

creature's force replenishment. Even if it can be dig again quickly, it can

still have an effective impact on the offensive of the alien creature.

At the same time, several apparently specially modified carrier helicopters

dangled a few huge figures on the battlefield, and put their own Titans into

the battlefield where support is needed, so that these big guys can assist the

warriors on the front. , Stabilize the front and destroy the enemy.

In fact, the logistics of using missiles to attack alien creatures is only a

task after the mobile base arrives on the front line. If such a mobile base

appears on the battlefield of West Dongting Lake, the most critical task is to

send the newly created Titan to the front line. , And provide logistical

support for the Titans to ensure that they can play their best role on the

front line.

As for the helicopters that carry Titans, they are also specially modified.

After removing the bottom of the cabin, they are directly turned into several

fixed racks to fix the Titans. At the same time, the Titans are equipped with

recoil parachutes, and the Titans can be airdropped directly. On the front

line, the Titans can be sent to the places in need more efficiently.

After the Titan has completed the combat mission, these helicopters can

retrieve the Titan and transport it to the next place where it is needed, or

send it back to the mobile base to replenish ammunition and equipment.

This batch of Titans was the first batch of Titans produced by the Titan

Factory in the Dome City, and was delivered by Chen Xin as soon as they were

produced.

In addition, according to Chen Xin’s prior plan, another mobile base that had

not been seen before was transformed into a Titan support ship, and the

helicopter on board was also transformed into a tactic that can send several

Titans to the battlefield at any time. Support platform. U U Reading

And the effects of mobile bases and Titans on the battlefield did not

disappoint the officers who had great expectations for it. The high mobility

provided by helicopters that can move quickly on the battlefield like a

firefighting team, the Titans are very good. Effective help stabilized the

front line.

This made the soldiers in front feel relieved of pressure, but also relieved

the general who was in charge of commanding the battlefield of West Dongting

Lake.

The West Dongting Lake battlefield does not have the advantage of the East

Dongting Lake, and he has been frustrated and difficult in this battle.

Previously, because an alien was unable to effectively contain the attack of

an alien creature, even if an armored force was organized to try to

counterattack, the effect was few and a part of the armor was lost, which made

the general very difficult and depressed.

Now he had an effective mobile force in his hand, which allowed the general to

finally have time and leeway to adjust the front and arrange more effective

defenses.

After seeing the role of the mobile base carrying the Titans on the

battlefield, the high-level military finally made up their minds and prepared

to start building and deploying more mobile bases.
