Chapter 70: Survivor in the wild

Chen Xin, who had discovered the oxygen problem, wanted to return to his

refuge, but after taking a break and feeling that he had recovered a lot, Chen

Xin hesitated and walked towards his set goal.

On the one hand, the oxygen problem is not serious now. Although there are

symptoms of hypoxia, it is not much different from the altitude sickness

caused by thin oxygen in high altitude areas.

And Chen Xin felt it carefully. The burden it brought was just to make him

breathe a little bit quickly, a little gasping, as long as he didn't walk too

fast, he could still bear the current state.

Since there won’t be any major problems, Chen Xin doesn’t want to waste his

chance to come out and search for resources. After all, the happy water from

the fat house he found before gave him great encouragement and made him hope

and look forward to the one he can target Supermarkets find more resources.

But when Chen Xin walked through the dark street under the rain and came near

the supermarket, he stopped abruptly, hid behind a corner, and held the cherry

blossom on his waist.

The entrance of the supermarket in front is bright!

Chen Xin quickly took out a binoculars from his tactical pocket and looked

carefully, and found that the light was swaying like fire, and there were

figures walking around.

This made him very surprised.

Although the supermarket in front of me is a semi-underground building, it was

not converted into a shelter because it was too small to accommodate many

people before the disaster.

The nearby city government has not planned other refuges. The surrounding

communities have moved into the refuges in the urban area because of the small

population.

It stands to reason that no one should show up here.

Is it someone who came to search for resources?

Chen Xin denied this speculation.

If they are people who come to search for resources, they don't need to start

a fire at all, they just need to flashlight to search for resources.

Although the torch may have been lit because of the need to use a flashlight

sparingly, but in that case the light should be mobile.

will not be like now, although it is swaying, the position of the light source

is very stable.

A survivor who did not enter the shelter?

This is very likely.

Although the country has done everything possible to allow people to enter the

refuge before the disaster, but not everyone is unfortunately killed.

The number of people who can build their own shelters like Chen Yu and Mo

Qingyan is after all in Yan Country.

Most of the people stranded outside the refuge haven't survived the first wave

of shocks and disasters caused by the meteorite fall, but some people have

survived and have been stranded in the wild.

The special police team where Qin Lan is in and the police in the city

actually have part of their duties to search for the survivors and transfer

them to the shelter.

There are actually not many underground buildings in the city that can

withstand the disaster caused by the first wave of impact.

The underground parking lots, underground supermarkets, basements, and even

some large-scale buildings with strong structures can actually be used as

shelters to resist the disaster caused by the first wave of impact.

As long as you find such a bunker and store enough supplies before the

disaster strikes, it is not difficult to survive.

So are the survivors in this supermarket now?

Chen Xin didn't know, but he didn't want to risk contact with them.

Compared with the survivors who can enter the national refuge in time, the

living conditions of these wild survivors are much more difficult.

The shelters built by the country, although the living conditions may be a bit

crowded, you still need to work in the shelters, at least safety and food can

be guaranteed.

But the survivors in the wild are not so lucky.

They may be able to find a safe place as their refuge, but in this

environment, food is very difficult to obtain.

The food stored before the disaster may be able to support them for three to

five months, but it is not a long-term solution.

Especially the lack of drinking water will force them to venture out to find

all the materials that may be collected.

At this time, Chen Xin showed up with a very well-equipped person. It is hard

to guarantee that no one will get rich.

Although Xin Chen has both a knife and a gun in his hands, it is better to do

less than to do more. There is no need that he does not want to cause this

trouble.

After making a note of the place, Chen Xin did not continue forward, but took

out the pistol from his body and held it in his hand. After slowly retreating

for a certain distance, he hurriedly turned and left.

returned to his refuge, Chen Xin put down his backpack, took off his

protective clothing and face mask, and then sat down on the sofa in the living

room.

Chen Xin felt short of breath outside before and was a little unable to

breathe, but after returning to the refuge, his condition improved a lot.

Because of the planting greenhouse, the crops inside can still undergo

photosynthesis with the help of supplementary light. The oxygen content in the

refuge is now significantly higher than the outside world.

adjusted his own state, put the gun and Sakura cut back into the weapon

cabinet, only then came to count his own harvest this time.

Before arriving at the supermarket that may be occupied by the

survivors~www.mtlnovel.com~, Chen Xin searched a street, six small

supermarkets and about eighty-nine other shops, and found some useful things.

One of the shops is in the hardware business. There are more than a dozen

steel pipes and more than 20 small valves in the shop. This is Chen Xin’s

biggest gain this time.

In addition, there are just a few miscellaneous gadgets, there are

screwdrivers that burn only the metal parts, and there are also a pack of

files that are burnt but intact.

are all things that can come in handy, but they don’t know what they can do

for a while.

So Chen Xin just put together the things he found, and concealed them, but did

not bring them back.

He plans to drive there again tomorrow and bring back everything he finds.

As for the food Chen Xin did not find, it seems to have been raided, only the

box of Happy Water and half a box of beer that Chen Xin found.

And the two pieces of soap found with Happy Water and Beer have been put in

the bathroom by Chen Xin. This kind of daily necessities is not very easy to

handle now, and it is a surprise to be able to supplement it.

After finishing the materials, Chen Xin contacted Mo Qingyan on the radio

after thinking about it.

"Food, what's the matter? Why did you contact me today?" Mo Qingyan felt a

little strange at Chen Xin's sudden call.

"Long Niang, is there any plant that can still photosynthesize in your refuge

now?" Chen Xin didn't care about Mo Qingyan's question, but asked her about

plants without end.

Although she was confused by Chen Xin's question, Mo Qingyan still answered

his question: "Plants? Photosynthesis? There is a green plant box in my

bedroom. Why do you suddenly ask about the ingredients? "
