Chapter 722: Demand from national defense

"Academician Chen, can you design a small mobile base that can accommodate a

company of fighters, equipped with powered armor, Titans, armored vehicles,

tanks, helicopters, etc., with enough self-sustaining capabilities to stay

behind enemy lines for a long time and perform tasks? "The military

representative asked Chen Xin. This was an idea he had made temporarily.

If it can be possible to use a small mobile base and other vehicles to carry a

company of special forces on the left and right, carry other vehicles such as

power armor, Titans, tanks, armored vehicles, and helicopters, and have the

ability to stay behind enemy lines for a long time The self-sustaining

ability, which is undoubtedly very tempting in war.

After all, if such a force is stuffed behind the enemy, as long as it is not

discovered, it can cause a heavy blow to the enemy.

Compared with the traditional use of special forces to carry out destruction

behind enemy lines, such special forces supported by heavy weapons and

vehicles will be able to play a greater role.

However, after considering it for a while, Chen Xin shook his head and said:

"Of course it can be done, but it is of little significance! For such a small

mobile base, no matter how small it is, it is as big as a big drive. If you

are behind enemy lines, this thing can hardly be hidden, right?

Of course, in the current environment, it has a certain practical value. After

all, now that everyone has lost the methods of satellite reconnaissance,

hiding behind enemy lines is not a big problem, but the enemy we are facing

now is alien creatures, right? Do I need these to fight with them? "

"No, no, Academician Chen, you misunderstood." The military representative

shook his head when he heard Chen Xin say this, and explained to him: "This

kind of small mobile base is indeed considered to be used by soldiers behind

the enemy. But at present, the military needs it more for small-scale

mobilization of troops."

Hearing what the military representative said, Chen Xin was a little confused,

which made him look at the other side, waiting for the other side to explain.

"I believe you don't need to say more about the harsh environment now,

Academician Chen, you will definitely understand that the cold climate and

harsh environment are the enemies we need to face now." Chen Xin originally

thought that the military representative or explained this small mobile base.

For the future use, the other party talked about the environment: “Thousands

of miles of seas are frozen, the whole country is frozen, the original border

posts are all submerged in ice and snow, and the naval ships are also frozen

by the tsunami before the disaster. Under the circumstances, our military can

no longer patrol and protect the border.

Although no one can cross the border line at least hundreds of kilometers to

see the crowded snowfield in this environment, the national border cannot be

neglected. Even if there is no such demand, we still need to maintain border

patrols.

Especially in the sea, European aliens invaded from the Mediterranean. This

may be related to the place where the meteorite fell, but no one can rule out

that the invasion of these aliens is related to water, so the military is

currently thinking of ways to restart the sea. Patrol and border patrol.

But Academician Chen, you know, the environment is terrible. Even with

equipment such as power armor and exoskeleton protective clothing, it is

difficult for our soldiers to conduct field patrols in today's environment.

If the entire blue star was shrouded in the dark before, there might not be a

big problem, but now with the change of our country’s environment, especially

when we have the sun again, it is certain that neighboring countries will

covet our territory. .

Even if the environment has not changed much, living in the sun and living in

the dark are two completely different living conditions. It is impossible for

these neighboring countries to let go of the opportunity to live in the sun,

so we must strengthen our Defense of the border! "

The officer's words made Chen Xin understand his thoughts.

He nodded clearly, and took the officer's words and continued: "But now that

the environment is bad, we still need to fight alien creatures. This involves

most of the power and energy of the country and your military. , So that the

military can't send more manpower to maintain border patrols and borders, let

alone naval defense with nothing.

At this time, I took out mobile bases and land-based aircraft carriers. I’m

afraid you were planning to use mobile bases to rebuild border defenses, but

at that time the military still had room to deal with, and the demand for

mobile bases was not particularly large. , So you plan to take your time.

But now, on the one hand, we are going to war with alien creatures. On the

other hand, our country has restored its sunshine, and its attraction to

foreign forces has become much stronger. Under such circumstances, the

military's demand for border defense has also become stronger.

So you hope to have a mobile outpost that can be stationed at a certain point,

and at the same time radiate a large area around it. It also has a certain

fighting ability. It can detect enemy invasions and can withstand enemy

attacks for a period of time or Am I right to delay the enemy’s offensive in

order to buy time for the mobilization of large forces? "

"That's about it. Originally, we just wanted a mobile base, but now

Academician Chen, you have come up with 3D printing technology. This thing is

very useful!" The military representative looked at the 3D printing equipment

on the side at this time, and it seemed Very excited, Xiang Chen Xin said:

"With this, even if our soldiers are stationed in uninhabited places, they can

get enough logistical support. As long as they enter enough drawings, they can

build a station themselves!

In this way, UU read www.uukānshu. com as long as they establish three or five

strongholds around themselves and then use mobile bases to roam, it is enough

to ensure the actual control of a large area, which is very useful for the

current country! "

This conversation with the military representatives allowed Chen Xin to

understand their needs.

This is not difficult for Chen Xin to do, and the requirements put forward by

the military representatives are also urgently needed by the country.

Therefore, Chen Xin did not make any excuses, but said to the military

representative: "You need a smaller mobile base, this is no problem. But I

need you to give more detailed requirements, such as how many people need to

be carried, How many people should be provided for, how long will it take to

sustain itself, and what equipment should be equipped...

These questions need to be confirmed by you. You have confirmed these

requirements to me, and I will design things according to your requirements.

This matter is not troublesome. Mobile bases are easier to handle than smaller

ones. Now let's solve the problem of land-based aircraft carriers and

supporting the European battlefield first. "

When the military representative heard Chen Xin's words, there was no

objection, and he nodded and left.
