Chapter 6

Suddenly, his left leg tightened, dragged by a force. Tan Yu looked down and saw that the black-clothed knife fighter, who had been struck in the throat with the gun butt, was not dead. Somehow, he had crawled over and was desperately gripping Tan Yu's calf, spitting out blood and making incoherent noises.

Tan Yu lifted his left foot, and the tip of his shoe was already pressing against the opponent's chest acupoint. The black-clothed knife fighter's dragging force instantly vanished.

"Compensate me for my rabbit!" Tan Yu gritted his teeth and kicked the opponent away.

The knife fighter was already dead in mid-air.

In fact, this man's knife skills were quite good. With just one strike, he had cleanly sliced the rabbit in half.

Tan Yu let out a light sigh. His right arm had expended a lot of energy and was trembling slightly, but after a brief regulation of his breathing, his qi and blood quickly replenished, filling his body.

Nearly a year of hunting in the mountains had already honed him. He was no longer afraid of killing or seeing blood, but this was his first time killing a person.

Looking around, there were no other knife fighters nearby.

What's going on? Why are there so many unfamiliar knife fighters attacking at my doorstep?

What happened at home?

Tan Yu repeatedly stirred the snow with his right hand, washing away the dirty blood.

With his left hand, he pulled out a small dogskin pouch from his chest. It was about two feet long and one palm wide. He shook it hastily, and a dozen lollipops fell out, revealing a gleaming black light.

Reversing his hand, he caught the light, and the dogskin pouch fell to the snow.

Extending his left hand and coordinating with his right, he twisted and turned, and with a "snap," it was firmly embedded.

When he released his left hand, a slightly gleaming black spearhead, nearly two feet long, appeared at the thinner end of the long stick. At the base of the spear, there was a cluster of black silk tassels.

This was Tan Yu's self-made spear, the Chaotic Black Spear!

"Chaotic" came from the secret spear technique he inherited: the Hundred Flowers Chaotic Spear. "Black" was due to the one-and-a-half-foot-long black iron spearhead, which, except for the slightly gleaming sharp edges on both sides, was mostly dark. In the damp and gradually darkening sky, it exuded a dark aura.

Vigorous qi and blood flowed continuously from his body to his legs and feet. Tan Yu, holding the nine-foot-long black spear, quickly and quietly ascended the mountain.

...

The mountain top was not far away. In less than five minutes, the fully alert Tan Yu saw the familiar gate of the manor from a distance.

Suddenly reaching the mountain top, with no cover, the sharp mountain wind became even more piercing, easily blocking his senses.

Tan Yu flared his nostrils, detecting a strong smell of blood in the wind.

He crouched down and looked up carefully, unable to help but groan inwardly!

Dozens of yards away, at his doorstep, shadows moved, all dressed in black with long knives, clearly not good people.

Just as he was hesitating, he suddenly heard someone shout, "There's another one here! Go and kill him!"

Two black-clothed men reacted quickly and immediately pounced towards Tan Yu.

They had been spotted by the enemy's lookout.

Seeing the situation, Tan Yu pounced and moved away from the mountain path, leaping towards a less steep slope. This side was his main area for hunting and training his leg strength, with intertwined trees and complex terrain, making it a good direction for escape.

"Watch out for the darts!" A black-clothed knife fighter suddenly flicked his wrist, and two black shadows shot out, quickly aiming at Tan Yu's back.

"Ah!" A distant cry of pain came from Tan Yu as he fell forward into the snow.

The black-clothed man shouted, "He's hit by my dart, he won't get far!" He was agile and small, and without hesitation, he rushed over, leaping down the snow-covered ground and stabbing with his knife.

The taller companion, seeing the snow-covered terrain, was slightly hesitant.

As he leaped into the snow, the small man suddenly realized it was a bad move. The place he jumped into was actually a large pit. The surface looked smooth and harmless, but the snow underneath was about seven or eight feet deep. Once he stepped on it, he sank immediately, unable to exert force, and screamed in panic.

The tall knife fighter, seeing his companion sink to his head, shouted, "Get out quickly!"

A crisp sound came from under the snow, followed by a muffled groan.

After a moment, a patch of snow slowly bulged, and a head gradually emerged, groaning, "Damn, what a deep pit!"

The knife fighter above, seeing the black headscarf, recognized his companion and was relieved. He rushed over, calling, "Reach out your hand, I'll pull you up."

The man extended a hand from the snow.

"Where's that kid?" The knife fighter reached out and grabbed the hand, feeling a chill.

He saw his thin companion staring straight at him, and was stunned.

At that moment, a black spear shadow silently pierced into his abdomen.

"I'm here, big brother," Tan Yu grunted, pulling the spear out with force, shaking off the snow, and rolling back into the snow.

...

Confirming that no other enemies had noticed him, Tan Yu, holding the Chaotic Black Spear, climbed up the mountain peak from a steep, hidden path on the backside.

His ears were constantly trembling, listening to the surroundings. His heart was pounding, and the bad premonition grew stronger.

What exactly happened?

At the back gate of the manor, two bodies lay, one horizontal and one vertical. They were Tan He and Tan Shan, who guarded the back gate.

On the path to the inner courtyard, a female body lay face down, her chest and back a mess of blood and flesh, having been cut multiple times. She was his aunt's maid, Xiaocui.

Further back, servants, laborers, and maids, all with multiple stab wounds in vital areas, lay stiff and lifeless, having been dead for some time.

Tan Yu clenched his teeth and hurried into the inner courtyard, where he saw a robust young man sitting on the threshold, his head caved in, still gripping a long knife.

It was his cousin, Tan Xin.

"Big cousin!" Tan Yu's legs gave out, and he fell over, grabbing Tan Xin's shoulders, "Big cousin, wake up, wake up!"

But his big cousin could no longer respond.

Suddenly, a loud shout came from the inner hall, followed by the sound of fierce weapon clashes. Someone shouted, "You little bastard!"

"Uncle!"

Tan Yu suddenly came to his senses and rushed into the inner room with his spear.

From a distance, he saw his uncle, Tan Qixiong, wielding a wolf-tooth club, striking with great force. However, among the seven or eight people surrounding him, a middle-aged black-clothed man held a pair of iron flails, swinging them fiercely, and was exceptionally strong, restraining more than half of his uncle's attacks.

A few feet away, a thin man with dual whips was crouching on the ground, breathing heavily and glaring at Tan Qixiong.

Tan Yu shouted, "Uncle, I'm here!"

A black-clothed man was pulled out from the surrounding attackers, waving his knife and shouting, "Wild kid, looking for death!"

Tan Yu roared, "Get out of the way." The spear tip lifted slightly, and a large spear flower suddenly burst into bloom. Even in the increasingly dark evening, it shone brightly, like a black sun suddenly appearing on the earth.

"Good spear skills!" The thin man with the whips glanced sideways and couldn't help but cheer.

As if to confirm his praise, the knife fighter blocking the way suddenly screamed and fell backward. Blood spurted from his forehead and chest, the smell of blood becoming intense.

In an instant, he was hit in two vital spots and was dead.

Tan Yu's spear, though only one flower, contained three rapidly spinning virtual spear tips. Wherever there was a weakness, it would instantly turn virtual into real and pierce through. The knife fighter, unaware of the secret, blocked his abdomen but couldn't protect the other two spots.
