After several unanswered calls, Fang Yu finally noticed that something was wrong. He anxiously called the house landline but was met with the same result. Unwilling to give up, he continuously called the house and the mobile repeatedly.

While on the phone, he quickly packed his bag and rushed downstairs. Just as he was walking out of the company, a familiar ringtone pierced the silent night. He followed the sound and saw Lin Moyan’s cell phone on the ground. Right next to it was the lunch box. His mind exploded.

It was only 2 miscellaneous items but he couldn’t figure anything out, he only knew was that something had happened to Lin Moyan.

He ordered himself to calm down and with trembling hands, he called Yan Ze. Without even greeting Yan Ze, he went straight to the point, “Lend your people to me, Lin Moyan is missing.”

“What’s going on?”

Fang Yu briefly described what he had discovered so far. Yan Ze was willing to help and even offered to search for Lin Moyan with his other men. Fang Yu took Lin Moyan’s things and returned to the car to wait for Yan Ze. He was suffering every second, knowing that something had happened to Lin Moyan. He clenched Lin Moyan’s cell phone and forced himself to focus.

Ten minutes later, Yan Ze’s people came to him one after another. Fang Yu asked some of them to look around while the others returned to his home to check if any suspicious people had appeared recently.

Fang Yu drove the car alone from the company to their home, observing the roadside for any signs of Lin Moyan. He desperately prayed that he would find at least one clue but much to his disappointment, there was nothing.

After a while, he received a call from one of the men saying that a stranger had been spotted near his home recently. That man had stayed in a van for more than 24 hours and someone had accidentally taken a picture of him.

The photo was sent to him on his phone. The photo had captured the man’s side view and his facial features weren’t clear. He was wearing a hat and his face was slightly blurred.

At first glance, Fang Yu felt that the person was familiar but he couldn’t figure out who the person was until he started thinking about who would take away Lin Moyan. Fang Yu speculated that it might be Li Wei but he could not confirm it. After all, he was the one who had led to Li Wei’s arrest.

However, this was the only clue he had so he had no choice but to investigate this man and hope that it would lead him to Lin Moyan.

He received another phone call from Yan Ze’s men and got the address of the man in the photo. However, the name of the person was not Li Wei but Zhang Ye. If it really was Li Wei, it would make sense that he was using another identity since he was currently a fugitive.

As he was driving to the address given, Li Wei called him and that was when he knew that Lin Moyan was in Li Wei’s hands. He gritted his teeth and slammed on the accelerator.

When he got there, some of Yan Ze’s men were waiting for him. Fang Yu lifted his foot and kicked open the locked door. The person inside was exactly the Lin Moyan he was looking for anxiously.

Seeing Lin Moyan’s frenzied state, Fang Yu was frightened and distressed. He embraced the person tightly and comforted him through words until Lin Moyan relaxed.

Fang Yu was relieved that Lin Moyan managed to protect himself but he was also glad that he had arrived on time. Otherwise, Lin Moyan would have a life on his hands. He didn’t want Lin Moyan to be affected because of this.

If he killed Li Wei, there would be a shadow hovering around him and his mental state would inevitably be affected. Fang Yu was willing to take on the burden but he didn’t expect Lin Moyan to have the same thoughts as him. Lin Moyan also didn’t want the person he loved to be stained with blood because of a rogue.

Although Fang Yu didn’t take that person’s life, he would never let the other party spend the second half of his life safely. The brutal prison life that he could not escape till death was enough to make him want to suicide.

When he discovered that Lin Moyan was missing, he had been scared stiff. The possibility of losing Lin Moyan made him tremble in fear, he knew that he couldn’t live without the person in his arms.

Now that he had experienced the bliss of being with another, he was unwilling to revert to being alone. His life was tied to Lin Moyan, their lives were now interconnected with one another. If Lin Moyan left this world, he would not hesitate to leave, just to find him and be together.

Simply embracing one another was not enough. The terror he experienced was entrenched deep in his marrow. He wanted to find a way to ensure that Lin Moyan had returned to him, but he endured it. Lin Moyan had already gone through so much, it would overwhelm him if he did something crazy.

“Fang Yu, I want you…” Lin Moyan softly spoke. He was afraid. He was afraid that he would never see this person again. He never knew that he would have such a deep attachment to a person. He wanted to be possessed by Fang Yu, he missed the feeling of this person entering his body, he wanted Fang Yu to dispel the nausea when he had been touched by Li Wei.

Hearing Lin Moyan’s request, Fang Yu could no longer suppress his desire to enter the other party. He lowered his head and kissed Lin Moyan’s trembling lips roughly.
