Two terrifying forces collided, the shockwaves causing ripples in the surrounding space. A hint of surprise flashed in the creature's eyes; it hadn't expected that a newly arrived Dou Di could withstand its attack without a scratch.

A trace of anger flashed in the creature's eyes as it prepared to launch another attack. Suddenly, a voice sounded behind the man and the beast.

"Stop! No fighting within the borders of Rending City. Please leave," a cold voice echoed through the space, rippling like waves in water.

"Hmph, boy, consider yourself lucky. Next time I meet you, you might not be so fortunate," the creature said, glancing at Xiao Yan with a hint of reluctance. Then, a burst of light, and it disappeared from the space.

Xiao Yan's massive form gradually returned to normal. He turned around to see a man in armor standing behind him.

"Thank you, Senior!" Xiao Yan bowed in gratitude. If this person hadn't come, he would have had another bloody battle today. Xiao Yan knew that the creature hadn't used its full strength just now; he wasn't very confident himself.

"Ha ha, no need to thank me, it's my duty. You're a new Dou Di, right?" The armored man laughed and then asked lightly.

Xiao Yan nodded slightly, not hiding it, but he was a bit puzzled about how the armored man knew him.

"Um, you are the one Ming Di is looking for. Come, I'll take you to Rending City." After Xiao Yan's confirmation, the armored man didn't ask any more questions and turned to fly away without waiting for Xiao Yan.

Xiao Yan stood there, "Is someone else coming to pick me up?" he couldn't help but ask himself. Could there be someone else here who knows him?

"Senior, forgive me for being bold, but how did you know about me and my whereabouts?" The armored man's accuracy in finding him and his certainty that he was the one Ming Di was looking for left Xiao Yan deeply puzzled.

"Ha ha, boy, you're quite cautious. I know everything within a thousand miles of Rending City. Finding you wasn't difficult. As for why I'm sure it's you, well, in the past thousand years, you're the only one who has come through this passage, and the spatial beast you fought just now." The armored man stopped and explained slowly when he heard Xiao Yan's question.

Xiao Yan was taken aback by the armored man's words. His imperial soul power could only sense things within a hundred miles in this space, but this middle-aged man in armor could detect things a thousand miles away! Indeed, the aura emanating from the armored man was clearly far beyond his own. Xiao Yan nodded, still a bit puzzled, but in this vast and boundless space, it was better to have someone guide him than to wander aimlessly.

With no other choice, Xiao Yan could only trust this person for now. He didn't say anything more and followed the armored man, flying at an extremely fast speed. Even at his peak, Xiao Yan couldn't catch up to the armored man, but fortunately, it wasn't far. After about ten minutes, a small city appeared before Xiao Yan's eyes.

From the air, Xiao Yan could see the entire Rending City, bustling with people and quite prosperous. The entire city was built from a blue stone, with a tall tower in the center. At the top of the tower, a faint glow of fire could be seen, giving it a mysterious feel from a distance, likely the energy source supporting the city.

"I didn't expect to find such a city here," Xiao Yan was somewhat surprised. Maintaining a city in a spatial rift must require a significant amount of energy. The person who could establish a city in a spatial rift must be a renowned strong figure.

"This is Rending City. Follow me in," the armored man said lightly.

The two dove down and landed on the ancient stone road. The noisy and bustling sounds of Rending City immediately filled Xiao Yan's ears. People riding various magical beasts, wearing splendid armor, and numerous stalls selling all sorts of rare and exotic items lined the streets, leaving Xiao Yan dazzled.

Xiao Yan casually checked the auras of a few people and couldn't help but shiver; none of them were less than several times or even a hundred times stronger than him.

Following the armored man in a certain direction, Xiao Yan soon saw an old man standing a few dozen meters away, hands behind his back, smiling at him. Xiao Yan was slightly taken aback; he had thought the person coming to pick him up would be someone from the Xiao Clan in this space, but his bloodline showed no connection, making him a bit wary. Xiao Yan always maintained a degree of caution around strangers.

Xiao Yan followed the armored man slowly toward the old man. As they approached, the old man looked at the armored man, bowed, and said, "Thank you, Guard Hotao. Since the person is here, I'll take him back to the valley. I won't disturb your work."

Hearing the old man's words, Xiao Yan learned that the armored man was named Hotao and seemed to be a guard of Rending City, which didn't surprise him much.

Hotao smiled and left.

After Hotao's figure disappeared, the old man looked at Xiao Yan and called out, "Boy, come with me."

Xiao Yan, hearing the old man's call, looked at the unfamiliar yet somewhat weathered face, feeling a bit bewildered. What did this person have to do with him?

"Who are you? How did you know I was coming? I don't know you, why are you waiting for me here? Why should I go with you?" A series of questions and doubts were directed at the old man.

"Boy, you should be the one Xiao Old Man mentioned, the only Dou Di in the continent of Dou Qi for a thousand years," the old man said.
