Chapter 7

Heavenly Fire? The Heavenly Fire they mentioned might be the strange fire within his body. It seems that the strange fire inside his body has already been discovered by these few people. Xiao Yan's brows tightened; he didn't expect them to find out about his strange fire so quickly.

"I didn't expect you to have Heavenly Fire. Kid, be careful," Mingdi said lightly.

However, Xiao Yan showed no sign of retreating. Instead, a light flashed in his hand, and a large, colorful ruler appeared in his grip.

"Heavenly Fire Ancient Ruler! This is the Heavenly Fire Ancient Ruler! I didn't expect this kid to have grasped such a weapon." The people around were immediately shocked.

It seems they mistook the strange fire in his body for some kind of Heavenly Fire. Without a word, Xiao Yan charged forward. He sensed the killing intent from these few people and naturally wouldn't hold back.

"Flaming Palm!" The two people following Mingdi seemed to have lost their patience. One of them shouted, and a huge golden handprint quickly formed in the air. "Bang!" A palm strike came down, and one of the opponents was directly hit, spitting blood and retreating hastily. Xiao Yan also made them retreat continuously, and in a short moment, the three of them working together forced the others back. These few people did not use their full strength, seemingly wary of Mingdi standing behind Xiao Yan with his hands behind his back.

"Haha, the name Heavenly Fire is indeed not in vain. Today, I have truly broadened my horizons." Mingdi did not join the fight but watched Xiao Yan with a smile, then laughed aloud.

The old man named Yi Ying looked somewhat displeased. Now, with the sudden appearance of two two-star Dou Di and the three-star Dou Di Mingdi, plus Xiao Yan, whose strength was much greater than he had expected, it was clear that his side had no chance of winning.

"Hmph! We will eventually seize the Heavenly Fire. Kid, we'll meet again. Let's go!" Yi Ying coldly snorted. Although he had several two-star Dou Di, with a three-star Dou Di present, there was no way they could win. Yi Ying knew he couldn't match them and could only order a retreat, then disappeared into the space.

"Always ready to welcome you." Xiao Yan smiled, showing no fear at Yi Ying's threat.

Seeing the few people leave, Xiao Yan slowly recovered. This battle was clearly not satisfying.

At this moment, Mingdi stood behind the few people with his hands behind his back and smiled at the two who had suddenly appeared. "You two kids, have you been following me just to find a chance to act?"

The two people laughed foolishly at Mingdi.

Mingdi pointed to Xiao Yan and introduced him to the two behind him. "This is the only Dou Di in the Dou Qi Continent in a thousand years, Xiao Yan, a member of the Xiao Clan." Then he pointed to the two and introduced them to Xiao Yan. "Xiao Yan, these two are the most talented disciples of my valley, who have just advanced to two-star Dou Di. The one with the cold expression is the eldest disciple Yun Feng, and the one with the honest appearance is the second disciple Xiong Yuan. They originally wanted to show off their skills, but you beat them to it. Come, let's get to know each other."

Xiao Yan bowed and said, "Greetings to the two seniors!"

Yun Feng just waved his hand, while Xiong Yuan was much more enthusiastic, helping Xiao Yan up and smiling. "Xiao Yan, no need for such formalities."

Xiao Yan nodded and thanked him. "Thank you, senior!"

Now, who in front of Xiao Yan wasn't his senior? Even the lowest rank he had to call senior, as he was the only Dou Di in a thousand years, making his generation the lowest. Plus, his strength was inferior, so in this vast continent, strength was paramount.

Mingdi nodded and then said, "Xiao Yan, it seems your whereabouts have been exposed. We need to return quickly to avoid more unnecessary trouble."

The moment Mingdi spoke, Xiao Yan began to suspect. What kind of force was it that could find out his whereabouts so quickly and accurately? Why were they so concerned about a mere one-star Dou Di like him? Who had leaked his whereabouts?

While Xiao Yan was thinking, Mingdi grabbed Xiao Yan's shoulder, and a strange stone block appeared in his hand. With a flash of light, the four of them disappeared from the sky above the forest.
