Chapter 91

**Zzzap—**

A thick bolt of lightning struck Xiao Yan's body without any deviation. The speed of the lightning was incomparably faster than Xiao Yan, who couldn't help but let out a muffled groan.

"Underestimated..."

Xiao Yan looked at the Lightning Demon who was already by his side. The Lightning Demon's arm trembled, and another bolt of lightning crashed down. This time, Xiao Yan was smarter; he instantly stepped aside and then appeared in front of the Lightning Demon. His originally empty hand flashed with a light, and a colorful giant ruler appeared.

**Bang—**

A dull sound echoed as the Lightning Demon was directly knocked down by Xiao Yan. Then, above Xiao Yan's head, several bolts of lightning flashed again.

**Rumble—**

The lightning, like a giant dragon, zapped down and split into countless smaller bolts in mid-air. Xiao Yan hurriedly used Instant Step and the Three Thousand Lightning techniques together. Although he avoided most of the lightning, he was still hit by a small part, and his clothes were already tattered beyond recognition.

Xiao Yan looked at the Lightning Demon sprawled at his feet and fiercely struck it several times with the ruler, knocking it down again.

In a short moment, Xiao Yan had dealt with the Yellow Lightning Demon and the Dark Lightning Demon. He had to act quickly; Long Yi's safety was now urgent.

Xiao Yan glanced at the Earth Lightning Demon, waving the Ancient Flame Ruler, which glowed with a faint red light.

"Mind Rank Combat Technique, Flame Burst Slash Ruler!"

He crisply shouted the words, and the ruler paused slightly in the air before transforming into a powerful energy and smashing down on the Earth Lightning Demon. Then, with a swift movement, he didn't stop at all and swung the ruler at the Sky Lightning Demon. Such a rapid attack made even Elder Zhan nod in approval.

The Imperial Tribulation is divided into the First Tribulation and the Second Tribulation. What Xiao Yan is currently experiencing is the First Tribulation of the Imperial Tribulation, the Heaven-Earth-Dark-Yellow Lightning Demon Tribulation. Even a peak one-star Sovereign would find it quite difficult to pass this tribulation, and the Second Tribulation is even more formidable.

It had been some time since Xiao Yan entered this side space. Thinking of the scene when he first entered and saw Long Yi being besieged, Xiao Yan couldn't calm down. The Ancient Flame Ruler in his hand moved in a strange pattern, with powerful combat qi flowing around it. Even the Earth Lightning Demon and the Sky Lightning Demon were struggling to hold their ground.

The Sky Lightning Demon was somewhat angry, stabilizing his body, which was swaying from Xiao Yan's attacks. He raised his palm, and instantly, countless bolts of lightning spread out above Xiao Yan.

The Sky Lightning Demon could control all the lightning in the area. If this lightning were to strike, Xiao Yan would likely be torn to shreds. The Earth Lightning Demon, hit by Xiao Yan's Mind Rank Combat Technique, did not collapse as Xiao Yan had imagined. Although the power of a Mind Rank Combat Technique is not weak, the Earth Lightning Demon's body is the strongest among the four Lightning Demons, and it would not easily collapse.

The Earth Lightning Demon withstood Xiao Yan's Mind Rank Combat Technique, Flame Burst Slash Ruler, losing one arm. Although it wasn't fatal, it was still quite painful. Its eyes, filled with countless small bolts of lightning, revealed a look of anger.

Xiao Yan paid no attention, his hand seals still rapidly changing. He looked fiercely at the two lightning shadows in front and behind him, his left hand holding the Ancient Flame Ruler, and a pale red energy ball swirling in his right hand, emitting a powerful aura.

"Flame Dark Burst!"
