In the brief exchange, Fermi felt the pressure and decided to change the subject: "Do you still want the Iron Plow King?"

Longcheng didn't quite understand, so Fermi explained: "Although you performed well today, the level of the Iron Plow King will make it hard for you to survive in school."

"I have a scholarship, which can be used to buy better equipment. Let me check." His brain-controlled smart glasses connected to the network, and the miniature screen on the lens kept changing: "Wow, a two million quota, only for buying equipment on campus. Tsk tsk, it seems the school has really put in a lot of effort. I've been here for three years, and this is the first time I've heard about our school having a scholarship."

He continued browsing and said, "You are the chief inspector of the Discipline Department, and you can receive a quota of 100,000 every month to replenish ammunition and energy. This treatment is better than mine."

Fermi looked envious: "Do you still want the Iron Plow King? If not, it can be scrapped."

Longcheng didn't understand much of what was said, but he didn't want to throw away the Iron Plow King. He said, "Yes."

"Alright," Fermi replied straightforwardly. "I'll call a tugboat over. In our school, the charge for a tugboat is 500 per kilometer. Fortunately, we in the Discipline Department are responsible to the principal's office, so it's free! Shall we go to the equipment center first?"

Longcheng agreed.

He was unsure about this training camp, which was very different from before. They were actually issuing weapons and equipment. He remembered that in the last training camp, they had to抢来 (抢来 means 'seize' or 'grab,' but it's not clear in this context, so I'll use 'acquire') their weapons.

Soon, a small white spaceship stopped in front of them. The spacecraft was about thirty meters long, painted white, with a particularly large belly, looking like a fish that had eaten too much. The upper part was the passenger cabin, and the lower part was the cargo hold, with a claw symbol on the hull.

The cargo hold door opened, and three metal mechanical arms, resembling octopus tentacles, quickly extended and grabbed the Iron Plow King. The heavy Iron Plow King was effortlessly dragged into the cargo hold.

The passenger cabin door opened automatically, and Fermi boarded first, followed by Longcheng.

The passenger cabin was spacious, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass, allowing a view of the surroundings.

The sofa was too soft to provide a good foothold, so Longcheng stood up after trying it. This training camp was different in every way, and he needed to be cautious.

Everything around him was unfamiliar, and he didn't like unfamiliar places.

Fermi opened the beverage cabinet: "Would you like something to drink? It's free."

Longcheng shook his head.

Fermi didn't mind, took out a few bottles for himself, and plopped down on the sofa with a comfortable sigh: "Thanks to you, I can enjoy this too. The Security Center is like a stepmother's child; we have to pay for the tugboat ourselves. We poor guys, even if our power armor runs out of power halfway, we have to crawl back; we can't afford the tugboat."

He took a big gulp of the drink: "Ahh, refreshing!"

Longcheng pointed at Fermi's glasses: "What's this?"

Fermi pointed at his glasses, somewhat surprised: "Brain-controlled smart glasses. You haven't used them?"

Longcheng shook his head.

Fermi said, "They're quite convenient. You can buy a pair later. This basic model is cheap, only 600 credits."

Suddenly, the main control AI's voice echoed in the passenger cabin: "Honorable guest, please take your seat. We are about to take off. Safe arrival, rest assured, Fengren Power Armor Academy sincerely serves you."

As soon as the voice finished, the spaceship lifted off.

It had to be said that this was the most comfortable spaceship Longcheng had ever ridden. The flight was extremely smooth, with only a slight vibration during takeoff, and the rest of the flight was smooth and silent.

Fermi didn't forget his duty. Whether he liked it or not, his fate was now tied to this seemingly weak but actually dangerous young man.

He was in a good mood. Longcheng gave him a lot of pressure, but it also made him feel more at ease.

In the school, danger was not a flaw but an advantage.

Fermi began to get into his role. He put down his drink and said seriously, "School starts the day after tomorrow, and time is tight. We still have some time before we reach the equipment center, so let's choose your dormitory first."

Dormitory? Longcheng knew this. When he was in the orphanage, he lived in a dormitory. A room had eight beds, and those who chose first could pick better spots.

Longcheng agreed.

Fermi didn't waste words and activated the holographic projection: "Choose for yourself. The green areas are all available."

The holographic terrain projection almost covered the entire passenger cabin. Countless mountains were densely packed, some red, but most were green.

Longcheng asked, "Where are the dormitories?"

Fermi took another sip of his drink: "Any green area is fine."

Longcheng was stunned: "Green areas... are dormitories?"

Longcheng's expression change made Fermi feel secretly pleased. He chuckled, "That's right! South of the Mulan Great Snow Mountain, north of the Meteorite Plain, east of the Goyue Mountains, and west of the Black River, all belong to our school. The area isn't large, just one-eighth the size of Xingxing. When the school was built, this area was all rocky mountains with no minerals, so it was very cheap. The school bought it all, which was a wise move."

Longcheng didn't know what to say.

Fermi continued, "Because the campus is so large, our school's dormitories are different from other schools. Each student chooses a plot of land, with a private courtyard. As long as there are no other students' dormitories within ten kilometers, it's fine. Of course, the construction scale is decided by the student, and the school provides construction services and various security design plans. But it costs money."

Longcheng thought about it and found it reasonable. In the training camp, oh, in the school, everyone was in a life-or-death competition. If several people shared a room, there might be no one alive the next day...

Oh, he almost forgot again, killing was not allowed here.

...There might be no one intact the next day.

Fermi said seriously, "Longcheng, choosing a dormitory must be done carefully. This is your base. Since you will be in charge of the Discipline Department, you will become a target. They will try every means to attack your dormitory."

Longcheng thought it made sense.

He began to carefully observe the holographic terrain projection. After about half an hour, he pointed to a valley: "Here."

Fermi leaned over and couldn't help but praise, "Good eye! Great place! Let's submit the application first to avoid being preempted."

A few seconds later, Fermi received a reply.

"Alright, pay the fee, and that place will be yours." Fermi continued seriously, "Longcheng, remember, no matter what, don't tell anyone the location of your dormitory. Be careful of others following you. If someone raids your place, it will be a big trouble."

Longcheng nodded: "Understood."

If someone found his hiding place, he would be close to death, oh, close to being crippled.

Longcheng thought about a term that had repeatedly appeared and asked, "What is the Discipline Department?"

Fermi was stunned: "You don't know?"

Longcheng shook his head: "No."

Fermi felt as if he had been struck by five thunderbolts. He stared blankly at Longcheng, realizing he might be close to losing his job. He wanted to ask Longcheng why he agreed if he didn't know what the Discipline Department was, but his remaining rationality told him that it was too late to ask now.

He squeezed out four words from his teeth: "Public enemy of the school."

Longcheng said, "Oh," meaning it was an enemy of everyone. That made sense. Just like the last training camp, the instructors always told them that everyone else was their enemy, and they had to kill them all. Only the last survivor could leave the training camp alive.

He had survived, though not exactly as the instructors said.

Longcheng's calm reaction was hard for Fermi to accept, and he couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you afraid?"

Longcheng looked at Fermi and said, "I am."

Fermi shook his head: "You're not afraid."

"I am."

"No, you're not."

Longcheng fell silent, thinking the guy in front of him was too strange. Why did he insist that he wasn't afraid? He was very afraid. He had spent the whole night in internal struggle, mustering the courage to register for the school.

Moreover, this school was so difficult, and even killing was not allowed. Longcheng had no confidence at all.
