Tang Wulin discovered an issue: standing to eat seemed to allow him to eat more than sitting down.

At his side, several circles of people had already gathered.

"This guy’s stomach isn’t that big, but how can he eat so much? He’s about to break the record. I remember our school’s intermediate department’s bun record is forty-three. How many has this guy eaten?"

"Forty-five, he’s already broken it. Amazing! And from the looks of it, he’s not even struggling. Those are palm-sized buns! The size of the buns at the school has never changed."

Zhou Changxi had long been dumbfounded. He always considered himself a big eater, but after twenty buns, he was already stuffed.

These were pure meat buns, served with vegetable soup.

Tang Wulin wasn’t just eating buns; he was also drinking soup. After eating five buns, he would take a big sip of soup, looking particularly content.

The buns were indeed delicious. Palm-sized buns with large meat fillings, each bite oozing oil. They were truly delicious.

The key was, there was an unlimited supply!

"Could everyone please move aside?" After eating the fiftieth bun, Tang Wulin walked to the C meal window again.

Yun Xia patted Zhou Changxi’s shoulder, "Let’s go back and clean up. You can’t even eat that much. I finally understand why he’s stronger than you. This is the law of conservation of energy; the more you eat, the stronger you get!"

Zhou Changxi looked dejected, and then he watched as Tang Wulin brought another plate of twenty buns over.

At home, Tang Wulin’s eating habits were always a headache for Tang Ziran and Lang Yue. This child could eat so much. When Nai was still around, the two kids even competed in eating.

Zhou Changxi’s appetite was already very strong among his peers, but Tang Wulin’s was on a completely different level.

Sighing deeply, Zhou Changxi looked at Tang Wulin, "I never believed anyone could eat a whole cow, but seeing your appetite today, I believe it. I accept the bet. I’ll go back and clean the dorm first; you keep breaking the record."

"Okay!" Tang Wulin didn’t really care about winning or losing; what mattered more to him was being full.

In the end, the intermediate department’s cafeteria bun record was set at eighty, plus five large bowls of vegetable soup.

When Tang Wulin walked out of the cafeteria, satisfied, a trail of dropped eyeballs followed him.

When he returned to the dorm, Zhou Changxi was already cleaning. Tang Wulin didn’t really make him wash his clothes but did it himself. Yun Xia also started helping Zhou Changxi clean. The atmosphere in the dorm seemed much more harmonious.

Just as they were almost done cleaning, Xie Xie, with a towel wrapped around his face, returned. His face was much less swollen, but his expression was still grim.

"Here!" He threw a paper package to Tang Wulin.

Tang Wulin opened it and saw a stack of Federation Credits. Seeing the large amount of money, Tang Wulin couldn’t help but feel a bit dazed.

Back then, it took him three years to earn thirty thousand Federation Credits in Aolai City! But for these rich people, it was just a matter of a casual gesture.

"School starts tomorrow. After school, follow me," Xie Xie said coldly.

"Okay!" Tang Wulin agreed without hesitation.

Yun Xia said, "Xie Xie, let it go. We’ll be in the same dorm for six years."

Xie Xie gave him a cold glare and lay down on his lower bunk.

Tang Wulin asked Yun Xia, "I’m going out this afternoon. Is that okay?"

Yun Xia replied, "School hasn’t officially started yet, so it’s definitely fine! But you have to be back before lights out, or you’ll be punished."

Hearing the word "punishment," Tang Wulin’s heart tightened. He wasn’t afraid of punishment, but he was afraid of fines.

"I will be."

After washing the dirty clothes and bed sheets, he walked out. Following Mang Tian’s instructions, he needed to go to a place called the Forging Master Association after arriving.

Mang Tian had left him an address, which was his studio in Donghai City. No one was there, but there was a forging room that Tang Wulin could use.

Mang Tian told him he needed to register with the Forging Master Association and then could take on some jobs there. This was both work and training. Every month, Mang Tian would come to check his progress and teach him new forging knowledge.

After merging with the Grass Snake’s golden light, Tang Wulin took forging more seriously. Especially after completing the Thousand Forging, he realized that his future career might be like his teacher’s, as a forging master. Therefore, he couldn’t slack off and had to continue studying forging. Moreover, forging could earn money, which could help with household expenses. In the future, he also wanted to travel across the continent to find Nai, and all of this would require money.

He didn’t ask Yun Xia about the location of the Forging Master Association in the dorm because he didn’t want his classmates to know he was a forging master.

After paying the fine at the registrar’s office, Tang Wulin left the school.

The unfamiliarity of Donghai City made Tang Wulin feel slightly oppressed. Aolai City was much better, with a relaxed atmosphere.

Although he didn’t know where the Forging Master Association was, he could always ask. After a few inquiries, he learned the approximate location.

Donghai City was much larger than Aolai City. To save money, Tang Wulin walked to the Forging Master Association.

Fortunately, the Forging Master Association wasn’t too far from Donghai College. After eating a full lunch, he walked for about half an hour and saw his destination.

The Forging Master Association was easy to recognize: a gray building about thirty stories high, with a huge hammer pattern on it. With this pattern, there was no need for a sign.

Walking through the glass door on the first floor, he faced a ten-meter-high glass wall with an eight-meter-high golden hammer sculpture.

Although the Forging Master Association wasn’t as wealthy as the mech manufacturing association, it was an indispensable entity. Top forging masters also held a high social status, not inferior to mech manufacturing masters. Manufacturing top-tier mechs also required top-tier materials, which needed top-tier forging masters to process.

The first-floor hall was quite spacious, with only two young women in gray business attire at the front desk.

"Little brother, who are you looking for?" Seeing Tang Wulin walk over, a sweet-looking young woman stood up and greeted him.

Tang Wulin was a bit shy and said, "I, I’m here for a forging master level evaluation."
