Dibales, the capital of the Moon Magic Empire, is a vast metropolis with a population of seventeen million, a grand magical city. In this world that reveres magic and knights, everyone aspires to become a noble magician and to become a noble knight.

In Dibales, magic is omnipresent. The magic fountains in the squares, the enchanting magic street lamps, the troupes performing magic acrobatics, and children showing off the new magic they learned today—this is undoubtedly a city that people love.

When Bing Zhiye arrived at this magical capital, it was already the seventh day since he left the Dragon Burial Valley. It was already dark, and Bing Zhiye stood at a crossroads on a street, pushing the large hat on his forehead. His clear black eyes looked around, and finally, he saw the magical sign of a hotel not far away.

"Waiter, bring me three more cups of Digel's black beer." The basement of the hotel was filled with noisy voices.

"Hey, young sir with the magic hat, are you here to stay?" A hotel waiter bent down to ask.

Bing Zhiye raised his head and pushed the large magic hat, which was quite unsuitable for him, again. "Yes, please give me a clean room."

"Sure, please follow me." The waiter smiled at him with her eyes squinted. This little guy looked very cute to her. At the counter on the first floor, she said to another waiter, "The young magician wants a clean room."

The female waiter took out a notebook, flipped it open, and recorded while asking, "May I have your name, please?"

"Xileste Bing Zhiye," Bing Zhiye replied.

After recording, the female waiter handed him the notebook and pen. "Mr. Xileste, 17 Moon Silver Coins. Please sign here, and this is your key."

Bing Zhiye signed his name and took the key.

The female waiter saw Bing Zhiye's appearance and said, "Oh, you look so cute. Do you want to go downstairs to eat something, or shall we bring the food to your room?"

"Bring it to my room."

"Shall I help you with your luggage?" the previous waiter asked.

"Thank you, no need. Please show me to my room," Bing Zhiye said.

At room 308, the waiter opened the door and said, "This is your room. Do you need anything else?"

"Thank you." Bing Zhiye walked into the room, looked around, and put his bag aside. "That's all."

The waiter said, "If you need anything else, please come downstairs to find us. Our service is very thorough. Also, I hope you have a comfortable stay."

"Here is your tip."

"Oh, thank you." The waiter took the two Moon Silver Coins as a tip. "I hope you have a pleasant stay at our hotel."

After a while, dinner was delivered. It was a large piece of crispy fried meat, three desserts, and a cup of bubble juice. Bing Zhiye's stomach was already growling, and he quickly finished the meal.

After eating, Bing Zhiye closed the door, took out an old map and a small black-covered notebook from his small bag. He flipped to the page marked with the Moon Magic Capital Dibales and Kulantin Academy, and carefully read it.

Dibales has a total of 274 schools of different levels, but only Kulantin Academy is one of the world-renowned comprehensive colleges. Kulantin Academy is so large that it is like a small city, capable of accommodating about 800,000 students, with a peak of over one million students. Kulantin Academy is not only a symbol, pride, and strength of the Moon Magic Empire, but even the Holy Garden has said that Kulantin Academy has brought vitality to the world.

In Kulantin Academy, there is a huge Magic Crystal Tower. It is said that the tower houses countless magic records and ancient scrolls, as well as some secrets unknown to outsiders...

"Magic Crystal Tower..." Bing Zhiye closed the notebook and muttered.

Late at night, the magic clock pointed to half past eleven. Bing Zhiye, who had fallen asleep on the bed with his small bag as a pillow, suddenly sat up. He walked to the window, and there were already few pedestrians outside. Most of the hotel guests had gone to sleep. He closed his eyes and formed a magic array in the air with his hands. As the light from the array dissipated, Bing Zhiye suddenly opened his eyes and leaped out of the window.

Kulantin Academy was indeed large, but the Magic Crystal Tower was not hard to find. From a distance, Bing Zhiye saw a huge magic tower emitting a blue glow.

A group of night patrol guards passed by, and Bing Zhiye, hiding in a flower bed, lightly stepped and leaped into the air. A slight wind element vibration surrounded him, quickly carrying him toward the Magic Crystal Tower.

When he reached near the Magic Crystal Tower, Bing Zhiye landed again in the flowers and plants. He had already seen the tower's size, but it still surprised him when he got closer. The Magic Crystal Tower was a regular hexagon, with smooth and shiny walls that seemed to be made of a single large piece of magic blue crystal.

There were no guards around the tower, but Bing Zhiye did not rashly approach. He noticed a few fireflies nearby and gently touched one with his finger. The firefly immediately flew toward the tower but disappeared halfway.

"The 'Illusory Magic Barrier' created by the Mage Kmiel. This academy really has some capable people," a smile appeared on his face under the large magic hat.

The 'Illusory Magic Barrier' is a powerful spatial magic barrier created by the first spatial magic mage, Kmiel Sen Dalen, several hundred years ago. This magic barrier is in a dual-activation state. Once the barrier is set, it immediately activates the visual effect of the magic array. People outside the barrier cannot see any living beings inside, while those inside can see the movements of all living beings outside. If any living being outside the barrier touches the barrier, it will immediately trigger the second barrier effect, the spatial illusion.

Bing Zhiye took off his large magic hat, and his snow-white hair fell out. He put the hat in his chest and carefully approached the point where the firefly disappeared. He found a few small insects and made them collide with the barrier. He placed one hand in the air where the insects disappeared and drew a magic array on the ground with the other hand. The array immediately emitted a faint light. The hand in the air slowly moved forward, entering the barrier's range. Soon, the light under the other hand became stronger, but it quickly dissipated. Bing Zhiye smiled and stood up, walking into the barrier.

Upon entering the barrier, he immediately saw many fireflies flying in the void. The ground inside the barrier was covered with many flowers and plants, and a group of guards were stationed around the tower. However, now Bing Zhiye could see them, but they could not see him, as he had used the small magic array to make his body exist in the same state as the 'Illusory Magic Barrier,' essentially becoming one with the barrier.

Bing Zhiye walked to the guards and cast a mental illusion spell on each of them before pushing open the door of the Magic Crystal Tower, which was integrated with the tower.

There were no guards inside the tower, which Bing Zhiye already knew. The sacred forbidden area of Kulantin Academy was not allowed to be entered by anyone. The inside of the tower was large but not empty. It was actually quite crowded, as it was filled with countless bookshelves, and all the books were bathed in a blue glow.

Bing Zhiye took two steps back and looked up. This was only the first floor, and the stairs on the left clearly led to the second floor. He did not even look at the books on the first floor and walked toward the stairs, knowing that the first floor would not have what he needed.

Just as he was about to go up the stairs, he suddenly heard a voice echoing inside the tower, "Stop. You cannot go up."

Bing Zhiye was startled, not expecting to be discovered, but his face showed no panic. He stood still.

Gradually, footsteps echoed in the tower, not very loud but clearly heard in the quiet night.

Bing Zhiye took out his large magic hat from his chest and put it on, then tied a scarf around his face.

The person walking toward him continued, "Your ability to enter here shows that you are very capable. I do not want to fight with you. If you are here for the magic books, I can allow you to read the books on this floor, but please give up the idea of going up."

Bing Zhiye turned around, lowered his hat brim, and stood quietly between two bookshelves.

Soon, a silver-haired, white-bearded old man appeared in front of Bing Zhiye. The old man was surprised to see a child intruding into the tower and said, "Please state your name. Who are you?"

Bing Zhiye did not say a word. The wind elements around him surged, and his body quickly flew toward the old man, his hand slicing diagonally, emitting a cold white light.

The elements around the old man also moved, and he lightly stepped back. He grabbed the air with his right hand, and a flame claw shot toward the hand that was attacking him.

The wind elements around Bing Zhiye's body stirred, and he changed his direction in mid-air, dodging the claw. The cold white light in his hand transformed into an ice spike, which he threw at the old man.

The old man silently chanted, and the ice spike was blocked by a thin ice shield that appeared out of nowhere.

Bing Zhiye stepped on the bookshelf and threw several ice spikes from different angles. The old man also had several ice shields appear around him, blocking the spikes. Bing Zhiye smiled and took advantage of the old man's defense to escape through the door. By the time the old man chased out, Bing Zhiye was already gone.

The old man held the ice spike that was gradually vaporizing and muttered, "Who is this boy? He controls wind and ice elements so skillfully but uses combat techniques."

Back in his hotel room, Bing Zhiye removed the scarf and threw it on the bed. "I didn't expect Kulantin Academy to have such a powerful expert. Despite my caution, I was still discovered. Perhaps what I need is really in that tower."

"But this failure makes it harder to enter again." Bing Zhiye lay on the bed, closed his eyes, and thought about what to do.

Suddenly, a scream echoed in the hotel, and soon the corridor became noisy.

A waiter came out of a room with a snake, saying to a trembling blonde girl in the corridor, "I apologize, Miss. This is the pet of our boss's son, which went missing this morning. I didn't expect it to be in your room. But it won't hurt anyone."

A boy held the blonde girl's hand and said, "But your boss's son's pet scared her."

"I can only apologize deeply. If the Miss is willing, our hotel can offer a delicious ice dessert as compensation," the waiter said.

The blonde girl patted her chest, which was still racing from the shock. "If that's the case, then fine. But I can't sleep now. Please bring the dessert to the first floor, and I'll rest there."

"Thank you for accepting our apology. I will bring the dessert," the waiter said, holding the snake. "Respected guests, I apologize for disturbing your rest. It's all settled now."

The guests who came out to see the commotion returned to their rooms.

A few boys and girls gathered around the blonde girl and said, "Bring more desserts. We will chat with our friend. It's all your fault, you damn snake. It's terrible; we have to take the Kulantin Academy entrance exam tomorrow."

The waiter apologized again.

"Kulantin Academy entrance exam." Bing Zhiye closed the door.
