The dormitory buildings of the academy were numerous, not only for the students but also for the teachers, as it could accommodate nearly a million students, making Kulanting more like a city within a city.

Bing Zhiye held Su Feina's hand and walked into this large, square-shaped dormitory area. The dormitory was very beautiful and clean, more like a decent hotel than a dormitory. It was divided into four sections, with a 90-degree dormitory building on each side of the square. The buildings were separated by a cross-shaped road. In the center of the square was a beautiful garden and a fountain, where rainbows appeared in the sunlight, adding a touch of vitality. There were also many small houses around the garden, which were small shops.

"Teacher Chen." "Teacher Su Feina." As they walked up the stairs, students passing by greeted Su Feina. Seeing a small guy about 1.5 meters tall beside her, they asked if he was a new student. Of course, these students were all boys, as this was the boys' dormitory area.

Bing Zhiye was taken to the 7th floor. Each dormitory housed four people. According to the academy's rules, to facilitate the better and faster learning of new students and those in lower grades, some dormitories were arranged to house both senior and junior students together, though this was not always the case. The arrangement of students was not based on the subjects they studied, as understanding different professions was very beneficial.

The hallway was brightly lit by glowing crystals. Su Feina said, "Let me tell you, this is not the new students' dormitory area. New students are all assigned to the circular dormitory area. Because of your good grades, you are assigned here, and only the top ten can be directly admitted."

"Oh." Bing Zhiye looked around, "Which room will I stay in? There are so many rooms here."

"Don't be in a hurry." Su Feina smiled, "I remember there are still vacancies on the 7th floor." She led him to room C714 and knocked on the door.

"Teacher... Teacher Su Feina!" The student who opened the door, still in his underwear, was so startled that he slammed the door shut. Before the sound of the door closing had even faded, it was opened again, "Sorry, teacher, I'll get dressed..." and he closed the door again.

Su Feina smiled.

Bing Zhiye recognized the student who opened the door; it was the overly enthusiastic Big Luo. He didn't expect to be assigned to the same dormitory as him. He remembered that after the registration, it was Su Feina who asked Luo to take him for the initial test. This time, Su Feina came to his dormitory, indicating that their relationship was quite good.

After a while, the door opened again, and Luo was dressed neatly, scratching his head and laughing.

Su Feina walked into the dormitory and said, "Did you stay up late again last night?"

"Bing Zhiye! How... how did you get here?" Luo was surprised to see him.

Su Feina tapped his head, looking a bit angry, "I haven't heard your answer yet."

Luo laughed, "School starts tomorrow, so it's the last day... I promise I won't do it tonight!"

Su Feina found a seat and let Bing Zhiye sit down, "Living alone, you've made such a mess. I'm afraid to come to your place, and who would want to live with you?"

"I'll clean up, I'll clean up right away," Luo promised.

Su Feina said, "The students should move in this afternoon. You must clean up and make it look like a new house, or it will damage the image of our academy."

"Understood." Luo glanced at Bing Zhiye and asked excitedly, "Teacher, is he really the top student?"

Su Feina nodded, "Yes, I've found you a good roommate."

Luo grabbed Bing Zhiye's head and examined him, "I can't tell, you're such a capable guy, hahaha, it's really a good roommate."

Bing Zhiye's head was examined like a toy, but he wasn't angry.

Su Feina stopped him from being too excessive and said to Bing Zhiye, "You'll stay here. I'll go and handle the relevant procedures for you, or other students might move in here. By the way, where is your luggage? Is it still at the inn?"

"No, it's all here. I'll go buy clothes later," Bing Zhiye remembered his small bundle, which contained important things, and he had already hidden his magic hat elsewhere.

Su Feina said, "I'll leave then. If you have any questions, ask him."

"Wait a moment." Bing Zhiye called out to Su Feina, who was about to leave, and pointed to his head.

Su Feina smiled, "I remember, I'll give you a new magic hat."

The dormitory was a single room but was beautifully decorated. It had wallpaper, crystal lamps embedded in the ceiling, and the furniture and wardrobe were quite exquisite, with many carvings and paintings. Some even had beautiful stones embedded in patterns on the tables and cabinets.

The two beds were against the east and south walls, each with upper and lower bunks, not metal but wide wooden beds. Despite the many items in the room, it didn't feel cramped, possibly because the room was large and well-arranged.

Luo also looked around proudly, "Don't think every dormitory has these things. Many of them I made myself. It's your luck to live here."

"Thank you," Bing Zhiye smiled and nodded.

Luo was taken aback and looked at him for a while.

"What's wrong?" Bing Zhiye touched his face, "Is there something dirty?"

"No," Luo said, "I just feel like you've... changed."

"Changed?" Bing Zhiye asked, "Have I changed?"

"Yes," Luo nodded, "You didn't seem like this a few days ago. You were always cold and indifferent, as if you didn't care about anything."

Bing Zhiye smiled, "Ah, that was a misunderstanding. I was probably worried about whether I could get into Kulanting, so I didn't have the mood to talk."

"Ah, is that so? That makes sense," Luo also laughed, "I thought you were always cold. But with your top score, why would you worry about not getting into the academy?"

Bing Zhiye also smiled, "I didn't know how difficult the exam was, so I was very worried. Everyone made it sound so terrifying."

Luo laughed, "The more afraid people are, the more they exaggerate. It doesn't affect those who are truly confident. Let me introduce you to our dormitory. Although the main room is easy to see, there are a few small rooms."

Bing Zhiye saw a few doors.

"There are no windows here, but..." Luo pulled open a curtain on the other wall, "Ta-da! A super luxurious balcony with plenty of sunlight, beach chairs, and umbrellas. You can relax, read, and even drink juice here. Isn't it nice?"

"Sure," Bing Zhiye also walked forward and opened the glass sliding door to the balcony, where warm sunlight shone on him, making him feel not at all cold.

Luo pointed to the four doors on the west wall, "One bathroom, one toilet, a small kitchen, and a small laboratory. How about that? It's quite luxurious, and even some small hotels don't have such good facilities."

"Laboratory?"

"Yes," Luo opened the laboratory door, "Many students want to experiment with their ideas after class, so each dormitory is equipped with a laboratory and some simple tools."

Bing Zhiye looked inside and saw that it was indeed so. Although only about ten square meters, the experimental tools were neatly arranged on the table. Kulanting Academy had indeed thought of everything.

"I've finished the introduction," Luo sat on his bed and pointed to the four different colored lockers in the corner, "The yellow one is yours. Choose your bed. The lower bunk is better, less trouble." He looked at the bed next to him.

Bing Zhiye looked at the remaining three beds, "Can I sleep above you?" Luo's bed was on the south side, in the same direction as the door, with a corridor outside the wall.

"Of course," Luo smiled, "But most people prefer the lower bunk."

"Then I'll take that bed," Bing Zhiye stepped up and sat on the upper bed.

Luo looked up at him, "Impressive wind magic, well-controlled. Are you majoring in wind magic?"

Bing Zhiye jumped down and shook his head, "No, I want to major in ice magic."

"Ice magic, oh."

The natural world is composed of eight basic elements: fire, water, wind, wood, earth, lightning, light, and darkness. Magic based on these elements is collectively called natural magic. However, natural magic is not limited to these eight elements; it also includes ice and earth-based magic.

Earth-based magic, also known as poison magic, can cause various adverse effects, even death, and is feared by many. The Cursed Knights specialize in poison magic. Ice magic, derived from water and wind (air) elements, can form liquid and gaseous ice, known as wet and dry ice. These two types of magic, along with the eight basic elements, are collectively known as the ten major natural elements.

In addition to these ten elements, there are three non-elemental magics: pure magic, spatial summoning, and mental domination. These are the thirteen major categories of magic: fire, water, ice, wind, wood, poison, earth, lightning, light, darkness, pure, spatial summoning, and mental domination.

Luo knew that these thirteen types of magic had no inherent superiority or inferiority, depending entirely on the practitioner's ability. However, the eight basic elements were easier to learn and master. "Ice magic, it seems you are using wind to form gaseous ice," Luo said.

"Yes," Bing Zhiye nodded and asked, "What about you? I remember you like to be asked this way."

Luo laughed, "You remember correctly. I said I want to be a brave knight. My elemental attribute is more inclined towards lightning, so I aspire to be a Thunder Knight!"

A Thunder Knight, like a Cursed Knight, is a titled knight, on the same level as a High Mage, just one step away from the strongest Dragon Knight, and that step depends on the knight's luck.

Bing Zhiye said, "Ah, that's a very distant dream."

"Hit you! Who said it's distant? I will definitely succeed." Luo stood up confidently, but his head hit the upper bed, causing him to cry out in pain.

"Ha ha, what level are you now?"

"Um..." Luo scratched his head, embarrassed, "A... an apprentice..."
