If any student, who was diligently completing their homework, happened to be distracted and looked out the window, they might think that a film company was shooting a scene near their home.

A girl in ancient attire, with black hair reaching her waist, was flying through the air. Even if one’s head was spinning from reading, they would not consider this a common sight. Such a scene, which defies the common sense of most people, only appears in films and TV shows set in ancient times.

But such a surreal plot was indeed unfolding in reality.

The location was a residential area that Levi had just left. The black-haired girl, a spirit warrior, had received orders from Rin to find and track Levi. She was now spreading her wide sleeves, fluttering like a butterfly over one roof after another.

"Not bad... the speed is pretty good..."

The girl stopped on the rooftop of a high-rise apartment building. She had been tracking Levi by his lingering aura, but here, the aura seemed to suddenly cut off, making her search the area with a puzzled look.

"Nothing?"

The black-haired girl retracted her hand from outside her sleeve. She had just used a simple spell to detect within a radius of over a hundred meters, but found no trace of Levi except in the direction she came from.

She propped her chin with her hand, hidden in her sleeve, and thought deeply in the comfortable breeze. Suddenly, a familiar figure came to mind. It was because of this person that she left the bamboo grove, where she had not ventured out for many years, and came to this world.

Her former teacher, who was now her attendant, butler, and personal doctor, had mentioned something about a woman and a man before she left. However, the source of that information was questionable, and the girl had not paid much attention to it at the time.

But even if that information was true, the girl could not determine if the man she was tracking was the one mentioned. If it were true, it could explain why his aura suddenly disappeared.

The girl extended her hand again, casting a wider detection spell without worrying about being noticed by others.

"Sure enough."

This time, the spell did not fail. About two hundred meters ahead, the girl detected Levi’s aura.

"So, could it really be this man? The tengu’s newspaper doesn’t seem to be completely lying."

The girl suddenly broke free from gravity, floating in the air as if weightless, and flew toward the location she had just confirmed.

The girl discovered that Levi was using instantaneous movement, which made the subsequent tracking much smoother. Fortunately, Levi was always cautious, and the girl had tried to judge the maximum range of his ability by the distance of each movement. Unfortunately, the values always varied within a considerable range, making it impossible for her to determine the maximum limit.

"Almost there?"

The girl stopped in an open field. There was no need to use the spell anymore, as the two were already very close. With her enhanced hearing, she could hear the hurried footsteps from about thirty to forty meters away.

Due to the experience of being discovered during the day, the girl cautiously maintained the distance between them. She had heard that true spirit warriors, being the dead, possessed the ability to almost completely disappear, known as ‘spiritualization.’ However, she did not pay much attention to this ability. After all, in her world, various kinds of beings existed, and ghosts and spirits were already commonplace to her.

As she moved forward, the girl saw an abandoned square building. From a distance, she could see a sign at the bus stop that read ‘Hakumei-za.’

Since Levi entered the building, he had not come out. The building was not large, but due to the preparations for demolition, it was piled high with construction materials, providing ample places to hide.

The girl stood in the open field, hesitating whether to follow him inside. After all, for her, tracking was already a highly inappropriate act. If she were to add infiltration, hiding, and spying, even if no one she knew would criticize her, she would still have some reservations.

The beautiful scene of the girl in ancient attire standing alone in the wilderness did not last long. The balance in her mind was quickly tipped by a sudden weight.

The signs of battle that suddenly came from Hakumei-za made her curiosity, a trait unique to women, take the upper hand.

While concealing her presence, the girl quietly infiltrated Hakumei-za, justifying her actions as being for the sake of the Holy Grail War to soothe her pride, which had been cultivated from years of high status.

Soon, the girl successfully infiltrated the abandoned theater and found a good vantage point on a steel frame. She quietly observed the drama unfolding in the parking lot.

A giant, as strong as a prehistoric beast, wielded a rock sword, chasing after Levi, who appeared very small in comparison. Each attack stirred up clouds of dust and left deep scars on the ground. However, no matter how hard he tried, he could not harm the agile Levi.

In the girl’s eyes, the giant’s speed was not actually slow. Sometimes, his full-force attacks even exceeded Levi’s evasive speed. But whenever this happened, Levi would suddenly disappear from under the rock sword and reappear in an unexpected place far away.

Indeed, it was not wrong. Although he was far inferior to the demon, the ability felt similar. Levi’s instantaneous movement was very familiar to the girl, much like the woman who had asked her to participate in the Holy Grail War.

The giant repeatedly launched powerful but clumsy straight attacks, barely touching a corner of Levi’s clothes. However, the black-haired girl, who was watching the battle, had a strong intuition that if Levi did not counterattack, he would soon be reduced to a pile of minced meat under the rock sword.

The reason was simple: since the girl arrived, the giant had maintained a high-intensity, high-density attack, as if he never tired and had endless strength. For Levi, his speed and agility were about the same as when he started, but the girl could clearly feel that his energy consumption far exceeded that of the giant, as evidenced by the sweat on his body.

However, this did not mean the girl believed the giant would definitely win. She had some knowledge about the weapon in Levi’s hand, despite her ancient appearance. She knew that modern weapons called ‘guns’ had limited power against supernatural beings. This made her even more curious about what kind of miracle Levi could create with this gun.

As if hearing the girl’s thoughts, Levi’s evasive movements slowed, just enough to avoid being hit. Meanwhile, energy was flowing through invisible channels to the black modern weapon in his right hand.

Levi kept retreating while paying attention to his surroundings. Just as he was about to collide with a large crane behind him, he activated his almost instantaneous movement again.

The giant’s rock sword suddenly lost its target and struck the steel frame of the large crane, the brute force crushing the metal and embedding the sword over a meter deep.

At this moment, Levi appeared behind the giant, his right hand, holding the gun, emitting several bright electric arcs.

"Take this, Berserker!"

He raised his hand and pulled the trigger. What burst forth was not a mass-produced bullet. A ball of light, emitting a powerful shockwave and wrapped in countless electric arcs, shot toward the giant, who had just pulled out his rock sword and turned around.

The intense explosion shook the ground. The fierce wind, unleashed upon impact, ravaged the narrow parking lot. Sand and construction materials were blown away, and even the magnificent five-panel sliding glass doors of Hakumei-za, along with the windows upstairs, were shattered.

When the smoke cleared, Tohsaka Shinji, who had been standing on the steps, was nowhere to be seen. His thin body lay in the debris of the shattered glass doors, covered in wounds from broken stones and glass, with blood flowing continuously.

As for Levi’s target, the giant spirit warrior had lost his ferocity. The large crane beside him was blown apart, and the giant was now kneeling on the indented ground, with almost no intact muscle left on his body.
