Chapter 21 – Divine Power…..Failed? Succeed?

I slowly reached out towards the hole, trying not to get knocked off.

I can feel something in my fingertips though only faint.

However, there’s nothing unusual about that so I moved my hand a little closer to the hole and felt a little pain in my fingertips.

Perhaps I had touched the barrier that was protecting the hole.

I wasn’t blown away but if I get closer, I’ll probably get attacked.

Last time, I condensed wind magic against it, right?

I wonder if this is easier to break.

If it’s made of divine power, wouldn’t it be easier to break if I use divine power?

Come to think of it, what’s the difference between magic power and divine power?

I looked up as a shadow appeared and saw a monster core circling above.

I reached out my hand and casted magic to make it come down.

Let’s see if I can extract the divine power that the monster core gathered.

「Come out in the way I’ll see it.」

A white fluffy light came out into the air.

I didn’t expect that I’ll really be able to see it but it’s great I tried.

I wonder if magic power could also come out in a visible form.

I tried to do the same with magic power.

A black fluffy light comes out of my body and lines up next to the white divine power.

This is creepier than expected. Lump of black light going out of my body….

I regained my composure and compared the two.

I don’t need to look at the color difference because they are obviously different.

I can feel that they are different though I don’t know what is…

….how do I find out what’s different?

I don't even know what magic power is to begin with. Am I being reckless?

For the time being….what should I do with the magic power?

This isn’t good….I’m confused.

Let’s think in a simpler way.

Hnn, what I want to do is to be able to sense the wall and defend against attacks.

An easy way to solve the problem is….if I could turn magic power to divine power, wouldn’t that solve all my problems?

My magic can detect and defend against other magic.

So if I can do the same thing for divine power, will I be able to sense the divine power of the three idiots?

If that works, there’s a possibility that I can create a barrier with my divine power.

The leaves and branches that had fallen around me were swept up by the wind and flew away.

Looking around, they made some scratches on a big tree but there seems to be no problem.

Koa and the others lowered their posture for some reason.

Boss-san and the others also descended from the tree.

I checked Koa’s group out but they didn’t seem to be injured.

I wonder why the black magic power was glowing silver when it should have transformed to white divine power.

I felt the power of the silver magic power with my hand.

…..it’s similar to the power I felt from divine power….that’s my findings.

It’s a shame it didn’t turn out to be divine power.

The silver light that flew to the hole disappeared on the way.

The sound of breaking glass echoed through the forest.

Did I….succeed?

In front of me is a now visible wall that I couldn't see earlier. After completely shattering, it disappeared.
