Chapter 31 – Parenting….Found

I stopped dead in my tracks at the entrance of the living room.

Yesterday has been a tough one.

I brought home a young angel but it didn't stop crying.

I thought it might be hungry so I fed it with some soft-boiled vegetables and patted it gently on the back to see if it needed to burp.

To be honest, I had never taken care of a child this young before so I didn’t know what to do.

I fell asleep, tired, wondering what I should do from now on.

I woke up earlier than usual and when I looked at the angel, who was supposed to be sleeping next to me, I found nothing…!

Surprised, I hurried to the living room to see if the one eyes could tell me anything.

However, the sight I saw there stopped me in my tracks and made me weak.

There was a cute little angel laughing while riding a one eye’s back.

It seemed to be having a lot of fun since it’s cackling at the back of a one eye.

And next to it, I saw the angel reaching for something that the one eye was holding.

How did a one eye know of that thing? I mean, what was that? Isn’t that a den den daiko?

The light sound of the drum echoed in the living room making my face twitch a little.

But really, where did the one eye get the knowledge about drums?

….it also sounds good.

I thought it would be a good idea to ask the one eye.

However, I decided not to because there’s no point in knowing whether it has prior knowledge or not.

「Good morning.」

When I greeted the one eye, the four one eyes in the living room bowed at me a little to greet me back.

I look at the angel.

It’s in a good mood, laughing all the time.

Anyway, I wondered how the one eyes were so good at what they were doing.

They changed the diaper at an unusually fast pace.

It should be the first time you deal with an infant, right?

I heard a slight rattling sound and looked at the entrance of the living room where I thought the sound was coming from.

Two one eyes and one of the farming corps seem to be carrying something in.

That something is….in a wooden crate?

As I watched, they began to assemble it in a corner of the living room.

It’s a baby bed.

Of course, while they were assembling that crib, they were entertaining the infant angel using the den den daiko.

….also, I don’t know what it’s called but they even made a spinning toy.

There’s also a very beautiful stone….is that a monster core that I made into a smaller one?

I made it for fun and I’m glad that it’s being used.

I’m sure they have everything considered and taken care of….if there’s no damage in anything, that means it’s okay!

After a while, perhaps tired, the angel started to sleep.

Its sleeping face is cute but what about its attack? I don’t know.

For now, I’ll just have the one eyes take care of it.

I’m sure they will bring peace to both me and the little angel.

By the way, is it okay for me to name that little angel?

I wonder how god will feel about that.

Usa and Kuuhi tugged my clothes.

When I looked at them, they pointed outward.

Did someone get hurt?

I hurriedly went outside and found a place where everyone gathered.

I’m sure that’s the place where the absorbing stone, where divine power was all poured, is located.

I held the absorbing stone in my hand again.

The silver light around the absorbing stone becomes smaller and smaller as I watch.

Then, as it suddenly disappeared, a transparent pearl about the size of an egg appeared in my hand.

The absorbing stone that was supposed to be in my hand disappeared.

I hurriedly looked around and found a small absorbing stone on the ground.

It seems like I had dropped it before I knew it.
