Ignorance, the seed of calamity!

Since an unknown time, humans had always been sending frequent signals to space as a passive experiment in search for extraterrestrial life. But behind the claims of scientific experiments, were the human race’s thirst for extraterrestrial intelligence and hope. After all, if humans were the only intelligent life in the whole universe, it would be rather lonely for the human race.

But in some moments, loneliness was not the worst option, especially if the only other option was an unimaginably powerful intruder.

Of course, universe had more than one Milky Way.

And in the universe, as the humans had hoped, earth was not the only planet to carry life.

In the end of October, two years after the Mayan’s prediction of the 2012 apocalypse, as the west coast of America raved about bikini girls and surfing, a boy was building a simple sandcastle in the early evening, his small smooth hands playing in the sand.

With a pleased smile on his face, his youthful eyes turned towards the sunset.

And then, he saw it.

A few bright spots appeared on the horizon, next to the hook-like silver moon. The boy stared in confusion at these lights, not noticing that the waves had washed away his castle.

And on that very night, NASA had also noticed a unfamiliar cluster of meteorites heading towards earth. They had predicted that the meteors would enter the atmosphere by the afternoon of the next day and into the Pacific Ocean. But as the meteors entered the atmosphere, the world watched as the meteorites changed its path, crashing into Washington, Ottawa, London, Paris, Moscow, Beijing, Tokyo, Cairo and other capitals throughout in the world.

It was apparent that these meteors were not from a normal meteor shower, but an precisely aimed attack.

And just like that, an invasion from space begun.

As the cases of those “meteors” fell off, machines made of metal revealed themselves with a bang, armed with vicious weapons such as cannons. And as blue fire poured from the ends of those weapons, earth finally fulfilled their wish of welcoming intelligent life from the depths of the universe.

It was just that these visitors were far from friendly. They were here for an invasion.

In a day, wars begun all over the world.

On that day, two different civilisations collided; On that day, blood and gunshots filled the world.

Cities were abandoned and millions died within a night. The earth groaned as lakes were dyed red and mountains of corpses formed. Governments throughout the world had no time to prepare against this attack, and the battle ended in a blink of an eye. With no choice, the humans fled into the wilderness, into the deep mountains and the thick forests, bringing them back into the primal age.

And only after two years did the humans learn the names of these visitors.

They called themselves Nimes, a race from a distant solar system—Yoton.

This was the dark ages for earth, the Nimes people ruled over 70% of the lands and seas. The human race became nothing more than slaves, living in the scorching factories as they harvested the earth’s energy for the Nimes people, who had no care for the earth’s survival as they stole the earth’s resources.

And yet, light continued to shine in the darkness, and order prevailed in chaos.

In the third year of the dark ages, another visitor from the universe entered the Milky Way, bringing hope for humanity.

The revolution begun with the death of the first human, awakening the ancient engraving in the human DNA, the human used the determination birthed from his desperation and a Demon Cube powered mechanical puppet to start his retaliation. With that, the human race rose up to fight for freedom with their lives and blood!

This was a battle of the human race and their invaders, harnessing an explosive rage that came from the collective million of humans that remained!

And when the human race finally won, they watched as the remaining spaceships disappear in the skies of the earth as a light appeared from the horizon. This was a moment named the “Battle of Dawn” by the scholars of the future.

The Battle of Dawn was the pivotal moment when the humans freed themselves and received the right to become a part of the unending cosmic war, all thanks to the aliens that gave them hope.

They had called themselves the Idahua race!

In the summer of the year A.D. 2031, the earth welcomed a new era as the remaining humans banded together, forming the Earth Federal Government. That year was also the first Dawn calendar year.

And the story didn’t just end here, instead, it was just the beginning.
