Ignorance is the source of disaster!
No one knows when it began, but humans started sending signals of various frequencies into outer space. Behind these so-called scientific experiments, there was a deep yearning and hope for finding intelligent life. If the vast universe had only Earth with intelligent life, humans would be terribly lonely.
However, sometimes, loneliness is not necessarily a bad thing, especially when you haven't had the chance to prepare for more powerful visitors.
The universe is not limited to just one Milky Way.
And as humans hoped, the universe is not the only place where intelligent life exists.
Two years after the Mayan prophecy of the end of the world in 2012, at the end of October, the heat on the west coast of the United States had not yet dissipated. When bikini-clad women and surfing were still the main themes, a little boy built a simple sandcastle on the beach in the evening with his tender hands.
He was proud, and his innocent eyes looked up at the sky filled with evening glow.
Then he saw them.
They were a few bright lights that suddenly appeared in the sky, right next to the crescent moon. The little boy was puzzled, so much so that he didn't even notice when the waves washed away his sandcastle.
That night, NASA discovered an unusual meteorite cluster. The next noon, the meteorites entered the atmosphere. According to NASA's calculations, these meteorites would fall into the Pacific Ocean. However, after entering the atmosphere, some of the special meteorites suddenly changed their course and ultimately landed in the capitals of over a dozen countries, including Washington, Ottawa, London, Paris, Moscow, Beijing, Tokyo, and Cairo.
The precision of their landing points indicated that this was not an ordinary meteor shower but a meticulously planned military operation!
The invasion from outer space had begun.
When the "meteorites" shed their outer layers, revealing roaring steel bodies, advanced and menacing artillery, and related weapon systems, along with the blue electric fire spewing from their rear engines, Earth finally welcomed visitors from the depths of the universe. However, these visitors did not bring the olive branch of friendship but launched a war of aggression.
The war erupted almost simultaneously around the world!
That day marked the collision of two unequal civilizations; that day, the echo of blood and gunfire.
Cities turned into ruins, and millions of people died overnight. The earth groaned, rivers were stained red with blood, and bodies piled up like mountains. Faced with this sudden attack, governments around the world didn't even have time to launch nuclear strikes before the battle ended. People fled to the wilderness outside the cities, hiding in deep mountains and dense forests, returning to a primitive age.
It took two years for humans to learn the name of the visitors.
They called themselves the Nimians, from a distant star system in the universe—Yotun.
This was Earth's dark period, during which the Nimians ruled nearly 70% of the land and sea. Humans became slaves, forced to live in factories filled with scorching steam, extracting Earth's energy for the Nimians. This was an uncontrolled and ruthless exploitation, and the visitors from outer space did not care about the fate of Earth.
However, where there is darkness, there is light; where there is chaos, there is order.
In the third year of Earth's dark period, another group of visitors from outer space entered the Milky Way, bringing hope to the humans on Earth.
Driven to the brink, the life force of humans burst forth; mechanical puppets powered by cube energy; the first human to activate a genetic circuit; the first fierce and resolute counterattack. Humans began to resist, using their lives and blood to pursue light and freedom!
This was a fierce collision between the native inhabitants of the planet and the invaders, a collective cry of anger from the remaining millions of humans!
In the end, humans won. As the remnants of the Nimian fleet disappeared from Earth's sky, a ray of dawn appeared on the eastern horizon. Future scholars would call this battle the "Dawn War."
The Dawn War was a crucial turning point for humans to break free from colonization and an entry ticket into the era of advanced space warfare. All of this must be attributed to the extraterrestrial beings who brought hope to Earth.
They called themselves the Aida Hua people!
In the summer of 2031, Earth welcomed a new era, and the surviving humans gathered to form the Earth Federation Government. This year was also the first year of the Dawn Calendar.
The story did not end there; on the contrary, it had just begun.
