Ravage, a member of the Decepticons, is the most trusted assistant of Soundwave in the Minions. Despite being much smaller and more delicate than most of the Decepticons, he is just as capable of handling "dirty work, wet work, and infiltration" as the "adults."

His compact and agile body ensures that even with the most inconspicuous weapons, he can strike enemies (usually large and imposing) before they even realize they are under attack, leaving them "thoroughly heated." In enhanced mode, his built-in central data processor can operate at fifteen times the speed of sound, collecting data through a "flood" of micro-agents called "Microcons" from highly secure areas, and analyzing and uploading the data to Soundwave at near-light speed. In the end, he can ruin your day (and possibly your life).

It is said that despite his numerous killings, Ravage often feels a certain respect for the Autobots and humans—especially those who have once humbled Megatron or even killed him. However, many people find it hard to believe that a machine derived from a Cybertronian mechanical animal (Mechanimal) could have such "emotional expressions," and the debate over whether he is a "mindless robot (Robot-drone)" or a "sentient being" has never ceased in the Cybertronian scientific community—many believe he is merely an "extension" of Soundwave's will. However, observing his cunning and "precise to the millimeter" strategic thinking in combat often leaves people speechless.

Regardless, Ravage does have his own genuine judgment: in his optical sensors, other Decepticon soldiers are mere peasants (with IQs lower than a dog)—except for Soundwave: he is the "dog master" but more like a "dog friend"; every move he makes is so "elegant" in Ravage's eyes; and to this day, only Soundwave truly understands every fluctuation and every demand in Ravage's core, and is willing to pay any price for him.
