A few days later, "Wushuang" was changed to an A-sign status.
"Your package." Liu Qin threw a parcel at him, which contained the contract sent back by the Starlight Novel Network.
"Seems more efficient than a certain website in my previous life." Luoyang smiled as he put the package away.
"Have you finished today's update?"
"Almost, what's up?" Luoyang looked at Liu Qin guardedly, still traumatized from the last time he had to buy her sanitary pads.
"Look, it's already dark. How about we..." Liu Qin pointed out the window.
"Hmm, how about we say goodnight? I need to sleep!" Luoyang instinctively felt that Liu Qin was up to something and immediately interrupted her, jumping onto the bed and wrapping himself tightly in the blanket.
Liu Qin shook her head and walked out of the room.
Luoyang sighed in relief, ready to sleep peacefully.
But just a few minutes later, a shrill voice rang out at the door: "Get up and have fun!"
Then Luoyang saw Liu Qin, now wearing an extremely cute Mickey Mouse pajama set, kick off her slippers and jump onto his bed, pouncing on him. A pair of soft objects pressed firmly against him.
Feeling the astonishing elasticity, Luoyang, who had become somewhat accustomed to it over the past few days, turned over and pretended to be dead: "I'm already asleep."
"I'm going to Nanling tomorrow. This is our last day living together. Can't you play with me a bit?" Liu Qin pushed Luoyang and shook a deck of playing cards in her hand.
Liu Qin's next competition was the Heavenly Queen, which would start two days later. The preliminary rounds in Jiangsu Province were held in its capital, Nanling.
"Are you leaving tomorrow? Is it really that urgent?" Luoyang frowned.
"It's better to get there early to familiarize myself with the environment. Arriving the day before the competition would be too rushed. It's a half-day journey to Nanling."
"Alright, I'll take you tomorrow." Luoyang thought for a moment and agreed.
"Let's talk about that later. For now, let's have fun. There won't be anyone to live with you after this!" Liu Qin fiddled with the cards in her hand.
"Fine, let's play cards. Just stop using such ambiguous terms like 'living together,' okay?" Luoyang, unable to resist, got up to play cards with Liu Qin.
They played back and forth, and before they knew it, it was already two o'clock in the morning. They both fell asleep drowsily.
——
The next morning, Luoyang woke up to find a soft body in his arms.
"Damn!" Having experienced this before, Luoyang reacted quickly, jumping out of bed with a curse.
"Shut up! You're so annoying in the morning!" Liu Qin, still half-asleep, glared at Luoyang and turned her back to him, continuing to sleep.
Luoyang kicked her leg: "You... get up! Damn it, how did you end up in my bed again!"
"How should I know... Maybe I was too tired last night..." Liu Qin mumbled, then sat up groggily, checked the time, and said, "It's already past nine. I need to pack my clothes. I booked the afternoon train ticket last night."
Luoyang said, "I'll help you pack."
After washing up, Luoyang and Liu Qin started packing.
"Are all these clothes in the wardrobe yours?" Luoyang opened the wardrobe door on his own.
"Hey, hey, hey..." Liu Qin tried to stop him, but it was too late. Luoyang had already seen the contents of the wardrobe.
The entire wardrobe was filled with women's private items, such as pink bras, white panties, and tight stockings in black and flesh tones, including the sanitary pads Luoyang had bought a few days ago...
Liu Qin felt embarrassed: "These things... were bought by the original owner of this body. They have nothing to do with me."
"Stop talking nonsense and start packing." Luoyang pretended not to care, but his face was flushed, making the atmosphere a bit awkward.
After packing the clothes, Liu Qin clumsily folded a quilt.
The suitcase was already full, so Liu Qin had to stuff the quilt into a large duffel bag.
"It's summer. Are you sure you need to bring so much stuff to Nanling?" Luoyang frowned. Carrying such a large bag would be exhausting, especially for Liu Qin's small frame.
"Of course. I don't want to use the hotel's bedding. I need to bring my own blanket. It's summer, and it's hot, so bringing extra clothes is normal. I'll also need these daily necessities, or I'll have to buy them, which is a hassle."
Luoyang said, "It's too heavy for you to carry. Why don't you send it ahead and pick it up when you get there?"
After saying that, Luoyang helped her fold the quilt and pack it into the duffel bag. He called a nearby courier company, and soon a courier came to take the luggage.
"Courier, why didn't I think of that?" Liu Qin tilted her head.
Luoyang smirked, thinking that becoming a woman had lowered her IQ.
"Alright, I'll go buy some snacks for the trip." Liu Qin, not caring what Luoyang was thinking, ran downstairs to the supermarket.
Luoyang shook his head, watching Liu Qin's back. She used to dislike snacks, but since she transformed in this world, she ate countless snacks every day.
After opening his computer, Luoyang started writing.
When he had written over two thousand words, Liu Qin returned, carrying a large bag of snacks, including chips, jelly, and cakes.
"Are you a pig?" Luoyang stopped writing, looking at the mountain of snacks. A normal person wouldn't finish them in two days.
"Mind your own business." Liu Qin turned her face away, taking out a bottle of yogurt and drinking it with a straw.
Luoyang felt that Liu Qin had changed. Using Earth terms, it was like she had become more feminine—though Liu Qin herself hadn't noticed.
Luoyang wasn't sure if Liu Qin's changes were good or bad, but perhaps she had a stronger adaptability than most people.
"The time is almost up. I'll take you to the station." Luoyang checked the time on his computer. It was almost one o'clock.
The train left at two, so they had an hour to get to the station, and they would arrive in Nanling around eight in the evening.
"Let's go!" Liu Qin, with her backpack, handed the snacks to Luoyang, clearly meaning for him to carry them.
Luoyang sighed but had learned to be smart. Outside, it was Liu Qin's world, and he had to cooperate.
Carrying the snacks, they arrived at the station after half an hour.
"Call me if anything happens. I'll have a small advance next month, and I can send it to you." Luoyang instructed.
"Hey!" Liu Qin was unhappy with Luoyang's attitude: "I'm a man, I don't need your care!"
Luoyang was taken aback. Maybe he had momentarily treated her like a woman—fragile and in need of care.
"Whatever. Just don't lose your stuff. If you do, remember to call me!" Luoyang still felt uneasy: "If it gets too much, I can go to Nanling too. I can write there, so it won't be a problem."
"Are you done yet?" Liu Qin felt that Luoyang was like her mother from her previous life, nagging endlessly.
"I'm just worried about you, considering you..." Luoyang glanced at a certain full part of Liu Qin, his meaning clear.
"Who would dare to touch me? I'll show them what I know about men's weak spots." Liu Qin understood Luoyang's concern, giving him a sidelong glance with a smirk.
Indeed, no one knew men better than Liu Qin.
Luoyang's heart eased, and he waved: "See you then, the train is here."
Liu Qin hummed, snatched the snacks from Luoyang, and waved back as she got on the train.
"Hope to see you as a big star next time..." Luoyang smiled, watching Liu Qin's alluring back.
