This was the first battle Li Fatzi and his gang fought in the apocalypse. Let's call it the KTV Defense Battle. They killed four enemies and captured one, with no one escaping. There were no casualties on their side, and they emerged victorious.

Among the five Caucasians, only the one who was knocked out by Tony survived. They quickly tied him up and threw him into the KTV toilet.

Alex and Michelle also came to the KTV and were introduced to everyone by Li Fatzi.

"This crossbow is so cool, man. And your skills are pretty good too!" Tony, who probably didn't know that Alex almost killed Li Fatzi with the first arrow, praised him without thinking.

Alex scratched his head, a bit embarrassed, and said with a smile, "Just luck, just luck."

After Hao Chen left, only Queen was left, which made her feel a bit lonely. When she saw Michelle, the two of them chatted happily as if they had known each other for a long time.

"Michelle, you're amazing! I just saw you kill someone, that's so cool. I really hope I can be like you," Albe said excitedly, hugging Michelle's arm.

"You will, Albe. The world won't change for us; we have to change to survive," Michelle replied, blushing a bit from the praise.

The seven of them sat on the sofa, chatting. After all, they had just been through a fierce battle, and everyone was still in a state of excitement.

"Cough, cough..."

Li Fatzi cleared his throat. Seeing everyone's attention on him, he continued, "First, we need to thank Alex and Michelle. Without them, we might not have been so smooth today, and there might have been casualties."

As he spoke, Li Fatzi led the applause. However, to avoid attracting zombies, they clapped lightly.

"Next, I formally invite Alex and Michelle to join us. As you've seen, there are things in this world more terrifying than zombies, and that's human nature. If more like-minded friends join us, we will become stronger and can go further in this apocalypse."

Alex and Michelle had already guessed Li Fatzi's intention. They looked at each other and nodded in agreement.

"Count us in!"

To welcome the two new members, the applause sounded again. The addition of the two new members finally broke the shadow of Hao Chen's departure, and the team's atmosphere began to improve.

"Alright, the next matter is more serious. As Jones said, these people are not as friendly as us. We don't even know how many of them there are, their location, or the weapons they use."

Li Fatzi said, taking out a cigarette. Since the alarm had already been smashed, he could smoke however he wanted. "So, the guy in the toilet is crucial. We need to get the information we want from him."

"Right, it's almost dark. If we can understand them and prepare, we will definitely have the upper hand if a fight breaks out at night," Albe agreed.

"Alex and I will handle it. You guys keep an eye on the outside. If anything happens, call us immediately."

With that, Li Fatzi got up and walked toward the toilet.

************

"Bro, do you know what's most important in the apocalypse?" Li Fatzi held a hammer and squatted in front of the Caucasian.

"..."

The Caucasian had just been splashed with water and was still a bit sluggish.

"The most important thing is water. We just wasted two whole bottles to wake you up. You'd better give us what we need, or else, heh heh..."

Li Fatzi held the hammer above the Caucasian's knee and continued, "From now on, I ask, you answer. If you hesitate even a little, you might not be able to walk for a while."

Seeing the fear in the Caucasian's eyes, Li Fatzi smiled viciously.

Am I doing a good job acting?

Li Fatzi knew he looked no different from these thugs now. But to survive, he was willing to become a demon if necessary!

"What's your name?"

"Riggs..."

"How many of you are there?"

"About seven can fight, the rest are women, and..."

"What else?"

"Some... I don't know what to call them, captives?"

"Captives? Tell me more."

"Those who survived from yesterday to today. The men and women from the nightclub came to seek our help. At first, our boss, Edward, thought it was unnecessary to protect those who couldn't fight, so he wanted to drive them away..."

"Go on..."

"But we had weapons and occupied a nightclub, so most of the survivors came to us. Edward changed his mind and started accepting them, then locked them all in one of the nightclub's halls."

"How many in total, and why did he change his mind?"

"Before we came, there were about twenty or so. The one who brought us today, the strongest one, is named Avey. He suggested... suggested that Edward take in these people. The women would stay, and the men would be used as cannon fodder..."

Before he finished, an angry Li Fatzi punched Riggs. Alex couldn't help but kick him a couple of times.

"Please! Please! It was Avey and Edward's idea, I'm just a lackey! And before we came, we only kept those people under house arrest, we never bullied them! I'm telling the truth!"

"Are you telling the truth?" Li Fatzi asked, a bit skeptical.

"Really, of course it's true. Edward and the others were afraid that the government might send people to rescue us. If they did those things, it would be hard to explain. Now those people are still in the dark, thinking we're protecting them, and they're staying obediently in the nightclub."

"It seems Edward will reveal his true colors in a few days. What were you guys doing here today?" Li Fatzi nodded and continued.

"We heard the fire alarm, so Edward sent us to check. If we could trick you into coming, that would be best. If you were tough, we would..."

"Alright, what weapons do the others use? Are they also machetes?"

"No, only we have machetes. The others mostly have shovels, baseball bats, fire axes, and such... and..."

"And what? Speak up..."

"And Edward has a handgun. I've told you everything, please don't kill me! Please!"

"You stay here and behave for a while."

With that, Li Fatzi put a black shopping bag with two holes over Riggs' head.
