"Damn! There's another one!"
Tony, who had rushed over out of concern for Albe, saw Arthur outside the door and quickly picked up the machete on the ground, ready to charge forward.
Fat Li hurriedly stopped him.
"Don't be reckless, he's on our side. Everyone, sit down, let's have an emergency meeting. The people Edward has under house arrest are still waiting for us."
The group sat down directly on the ground, forming a circle.
There was no way to return to the KTV. Due to Alex's arrow, the entire door was shattered, and it was no longer possible to keep the zombies out. Moreover, because of the gunfire, a large wave of zombies might be attracted, so they could only use the small supermarket as a temporary base.
"This is Arthur, a Turk. He was my classmate at INTO. Thanks to his help, Siyao and I were able to enter the supermarket smoothly. By the way, Siyao, are you okay?"
"Yeah, it still hurts a bit, you can continue." Siyao said, holding his swollen cheek in pain.
"Right, if it weren't for Arthur, Edward would have escaped. Arthur risked his life and put in a lot of effort to successfully kill Edward." Fat Li explained, recounting what had happened outside the supermarket.
Let's go back a little in time.
"Bang!"
Edward's shot missed, almost grazing Arthur's clothes.
Arthur quickly looked for cover.
Edward cautiously glanced back, seeing that the fat man wasn't moving, he aimed again.
"Die! Arthur! You unfaithful dog!!!"
"Bang!"
The gunshot rang out, but Arthur wasn't hit.
Edward couldn't believe the blood gushing from his chest, feeling his life slowly draining away.
How did this fat man have a gun!?
Edward clutched his chest, falling to the ground in confusion.
Forget it, he didn't want to know anymore. Edward lay on his side, his clothes soaked in his own blood...
Was he going to die like this?
Edward opened his eyes in defiance, unable to believe what had happened.
Just a little more, and he could have ruled Norwich. Just a little more, and he could have become king. Just a little more, and those nightclub beauties he could only look at would have been his. Just a little more...
How frustrating...
I will definitely turn into a zombie after I die and come back for revenge... Arthur... and you fat man... I will find you and take my revenge!
Arthur and Fat Li walked over to Edward.
"What do you think this bastard is thinking about now?" Fat Li asked Arthur.
"Hmm... I heard he was a professional boxer in his youth and won many medals. He also had many women, so he's probably reminiscing about his good old days." Arthur thought for a moment and replied.
Fat Li looked at Edward's bulky body, a professional boxer? It was hard to believe.
Fat Li picked up the gun from Edward's hand and walked into the supermarket...
Anyone who harmed his comrades had to die. Fat Li pressed the gun to the big man's head and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
"Bang!"
******
"Where did you get the gun? I didn't know! Let me see it!" Tony took the gun Fat Li threw and played with it lovingly.
"Li, you know how to shoot?" Michelle asked in surprise.
"Back in the U.S., I went to high school. The school organized various activities, so I had the chance to go to a shooting club. Of course, I only learned the basics." Fat Li humbly replied.
Which boy doesn't love guns? Fat Li went to the shooting club almost every week, and he was quite skilled.
"You've been to the U.S.? I didn't know. Why did you come to the U.K. for university?" Fat Li's words piqued everyone's curiosity, and Tony asked.
"U.S., California, Los Angeles, LA. You know, after staying there for three years, my dad regretted sending me to such a colorful, luxurious city. After careful consideration, he decided to send me to this godforsaken university town in the U.K." Fat Li shrugged, saying helplessly.
Fat Li's words made everyone laugh. He was right; Norwich was indeed a godforsaken place.
"Parents' love is truly touching. But, speaking of which, you studied in Los Angeles for three years and still had to go to a language school here? You must have been pretty bad at your studies in Los Angeles." Albe, who had recovered from the shock, mercilessly teased Fat Li.
Albe's words made everyone laugh again. After all, there were no casualties on their side in this battle, and they had gained a new member. Moreover, the time bomb that was Edward had been eliminated, and everyone's tense nerves relaxed.
Of course, Siyao had paid a certain price for his heroic act, but fortunately, it wasn't serious.
"Fat man, I'm not interested in your fall from grace. Tell me where you got the gun, quickly." Tony urged Fat Li, curious about the gun in a country where even knives are regulated.
Fat Li recounted what he had seen with the two police officers.
"Damn, that police officer is a bastard, abandoning his comrade to save himself! What a scumbag! He's just as bad as Edward." Tony cursed the police officer who had fled.
"When we moved to this supermarket, I found this gun on the ground. Although there weren't many bullets left, I didn't expect it to come in handy tonight." Fat Li took out another gun and continued. "These two guns are identical, both Glock 17 semi-automatic pistols. In the U.K., police generally don't carry guns, but they might have been allowed to carry them due to the shooting incident last night."
"Right, Edward's gun was found on a police officer's body. Of course, the officer had turned into a zombie and was killed by them. At the time, the situation was unclear, so he didn't dare to attack the police." Arthur explained the origin of Edward's gun.
"Alright, let's not waste time on idle talk. First, let's welcome Arthur to our group. I hope we can all get along well and help each other, so we can go further together!"
With light applause, Arthur smiled shyly and nodded at everyone.
"You can just call me Arthur. I'll rely on all of you from now on. If you need any help, just let me know, I'll do my best!"
This feeling is so much better, a thousand times, ten thousand times better.
Arthur thought to himself.
