Hearing the commotion, everyone who had been chatting animatedly turned to look at the stairs. Li Fatzi and Albe came down from the second floor, one after the other.

"Yan Zekun, Arthur, follow me. Richard, this is for you. Come and help?" Li Fatzi threw a rope to Richard, who was sitting nearby.

Richard caught the rope and nodded, extinguishing the cigarette butt in his hand.

Li Fatzi handed a baseball bat to Yan Zekun, who immediately guessed that something big was about to happen.

"Everyone stay here, don't go anywhere."

Seeing the curious looks on everyone's faces, Li Fatzi spoke up. He glanced at Belinda, who was still huddled in the corner, sighed, and then led a few people upstairs.

Li Fatzi stopped and whispered to the other three, "We're going to the third floor. Arthur, you'll hold off those girls. Yan Zekun, you'll stop Little Tom. I'll deal with Tom. Richard, you'll tie Tom up directly."

"What's going on?" Arthur asked hesitantly.

He had just been discussing tomorrow's plans with the others, and now it suddenly turned into a fight.

"I'm sorry, I can't tell you what's happening. But I hope you trust me, we're not doing anything bad! If Little Tom and Tom resist, don't hesitate, use the baseball bat to subdue them."

Li Fatzi waved the baseball bat in his hand. He didn't choose a more direct method, like shooting him, because he wanted to give Tom a chance to explain. Otherwise, he would regret it for the rest of his life if he made a mistake.

The timing of this incident was quite troublesome for Li Fatzi. Tony's illness, Siyao and Alex's disappearance, made him suddenly feel short-handed.

There were six people on the other side, including the girls. To be safe, he had to call Richard. As for Wang Can and Wang Zongze, they were new to the team, and Li Fatzi didn't want them involved.

Although they didn't know what had happened between Li Fatzi and Tom, they had no choice but to trust him since Li Fatzi had said so.

"Ready?"

Seeing the other three nod, Li Fatzi ran up to the third floor first.

On the sofa on the third floor, a few girls were chatting with Little Tom, but there was no sign of Tom.

"Where's Tom!?" Worried that something might change, Li Fatzi quickly asked the group.

The girls, not knowing why Li Fatzi and the others had suddenly come up, pointed to a room on the right side of the stairs.

Li Fatzi gave a nod to Arthur and Yan Zekun, then quietly approached the room with Richard.

"What are you going to do!?" Little Tom sensed something was wrong and asked Li Fatzi with raised eyebrows.

Yan Zekun walked over to him, pressed down on Little Tom who was about to stand up, and said, "It's fine, calm down."

Feeling a force press down on his shoulder, Little Tom was forced to sit back down. He wanted to react, but seeing the baseball bat in Yan Zekun's hand, he decided to wait and see.

Li Fatzi tried to open the door but found it locked from the inside. After exchanging a glance with Richard, he knocked lightly on the door.

No response from inside, so Li Fatzi knocked again.

"Who is it?" Tom's voice finally came, confirming he was in the room.

"Water meter check."

"What?"

"Um, it's me. Li Fatzi." Li Fatzi had subconsciously said "water meter check" and quickly corrected himself in English.

"What do you want?"

Tom's tone was clearly impatient.

"I need to talk to you about something."

There was some movement inside, and then the door opened slightly.

"Talk about what?" Tom cautiously opened the door a crack, showing half his face.

This guy was quite cautious. Li Fatzi didn't hesitate and kicked the door open. Tom, caught off guard, almost fell to the ground.

"What do you want!?"

Seeing that the others had ill intentions, Little Tom quickly stood up to rush at Li Fatzi. Yan Zekun didn't give him the chance, pinning him down on the sofa.

The other girls were blocked by Arthur and could only huddle together helplessly.

"What do you mean!?" Tom grabbed a baseball bat nearby and asked fearfully.

"Everyone must pay for their actions, don't you think?" Li Fatzi probed. If he had a guilty conscience, he would naturally ask for an explanation.

Tom knew Belinda's secret was out and didn't waste words with Li Fatzi, attacking him directly!

It had to be said that the tall and muscular Tom was not easy to deal with. With the element of surprise, Li Fatzi could only defend himself with the baseball bat, unable to counterattack.

In a moment, Li Fatzi was forced out of the room.

Richard sighed, threw the rope to Li Fatzi, and took the baseball bat from him.

Seeing Tom gripping the baseball bat and looking at him unfriendly, Richard smiled innocently and asked, "Do you want to tie yourself up, or should I beat you up and then tie you up?"

The sounds of the fight on the third floor and the girls' crying tugged at the most vulnerable nerves. Belinda couldn't hold back and ran up the stairs.

Before Albe could stop the others, almost everyone in the front hall on the first floor ran up. Since someone had taken the lead, the others didn't care, after all, there was safety in numbers.

Wang Can and a few other boys were still armed, in case something dangerous happened on the third floor. Now, only she and the little girl Ning Dongqing were left on the first floor.

The third floor was quite lively. The girls, out of fear and the oppressive feeling of living in the end times, were crying softly. Arthur stood helplessly to the side.

Little Tom and Yan Zekun were wrestling, exchanging punches and kicks, making quite a scene. Worried that Yan Zekun would be at a disadvantage, Arthur quickly helped Yan Zekun control Little Tom. Yan Zekun's face was swollen from a punch from Little Tom.

On the other side, Tom was not willing to surrender and was fighting Richard with the baseball bat. Richard had no particular strategy, just continuously clashing sticks with Tom, relying on strength and momentum.

After a few rounds, Tom's hands were numb, and he almost lost his grip on the baseball bat. Finally, Richard knocked Tom's weapon away and kicked him to the ground.

Seeing Tom trying to get up, Richard swung the bat, stopping just a few centimeters from Tom's head. If Richard hadn't pulled back in time, that swing could have killed him.

Tom closed his eyes, swallowed hard, and didn't dare to move.

Richard nodded to Li Fatzi, who came in like a lackey, ready to tie Tom up. Seeing Li Fatzi fumbling with the rope, Richard wordlessly returned the baseball bat to Li Fatzi and took over the rope.
