"Ugh!"

Gilbert's sharp kick sank into Leord's thick, fatty abdomen, causing him to fall backward, clutching his stomach in pain.

(No! This is not what I wanted at all!)

Leord, unable to breathe properly, was on the verge of tears from the suffocating discomfort. He grumbled in his heart, but it did nothing to improve his situation.

Originally, Leord had attempted to diet based on the modern knowledge and experience he had from his previous life as a human. He had lightly estimated that he could lose weight through a better diet and moderate exercise. After all, Leord was a fifteen-year-old in his prime, with a good metabolism.

So, he had naively thought that if he just controlled his eating and did some moderate exercise, he would surely lose weight. However, a significant miscalculation occurred when he entrusted the moderate exercise to Gilbert.

This led to the start of Leord's and Gilbert's "moderate exercise," which was more like a hellish training regimen. As a result, he was now engaged in a grappling match with Gilbert.

"There's no time to rest. Come on, get up and get into position."

(You're a demon!!! I can't even breathe properly yet!)

Unaware of Leord's feelings, Gilbert urged him to stand up. But Leord couldn't get up.

"It's too early to give up at this level."

Hearing this, Leord had no choice but to stand up; his pride wouldn't allow him to do otherwise.

"Ugh!"

"Come on, let's continue."

Leord got into position, following Gilbert's lead. And so, another hellish diet session began for Leord.

Shelia, who had been watching the two from inside the mansion, sighed in exasperation.

"Wow, he's been at it for a whole week. I thought he'd give up after the first day, but maybe he has more grit than I thought?

Well, I definitely prefer a slim, handsome master to a fat one, so I hope he keeps it up.

Now that I can see his face clearly, I'm sure Lord Leord will be handsome when he's slim, so I want to cheer him on."

While her comments were tinged with wishful thinking, Shelia's evaluation of Leord was changing. This was a positive development, but Leord was unaware of it. As a servant, Shelia wouldn't directly tell him.

However, as Shelia's opinion of Leord improved, so did the opinions of the other servants. Those who had been wary of him based on rumors were now changing their views after observing him for a week.

He was different from what they had heard.

This was a very positive change for Leord, but he remained unaware of it. Still, his efforts were undoubtedly bearing fruit.

"Oooh!!!"

"Can't you do something about that scream..."

Leord, who had been thrown far by Gilbert during their grappling match, screamed like a pig. Gilbert, unable to do anything about it, sighed in frustration. Over the past week, Leord had been making pig-like noises every time they trained. Gilbert was daily troubled by how to improve this.

However, seeing that Leord's condition didn't improve, Gilbert began to worry that it might be impossible. But as the eldest son of the Harvest Duke family, even if he had been disinherited, Leord couldn't afford to embarrass himself. So, Gilbert steeled his heart, determined to correct Leord even if it meant being hated.

"How long do you plan to lie there? We're not done yet!"

(Spare me! I'm about to lose consciousness!)

No matter how much Leord screamed, Gilbert wouldn't let up, and the grappling match continued. Gilbert relentlessly scolded Leord every time he fell to the ground.

"Not yet! You can still get up!"

"Ugh... Ugh... You..."

"That's the spirit!!!"

Leord could stand up, but he couldn't continue the grappling match. He was already covered in bruises, and his clothes were full of holes. Despite this, Gilbert didn't let up and approached Leord, swinging his fist. Leord, who wasn't in position, thought he would be hit, but he managed to dodge Gilbert's punch and step forward.

However, that wasn't enough. He tried to punch Gilbert with his flabby arms, but he couldn't reach. Gilbert easily deflected Leord's arm and delivered a powerful roundhouse kick that sent Leord flying.

"Oooh!!!"

Leord flew through the air like a bullet from a rifle, spinning and crashing headfirst into the ground, where he lost consciousness. This had become a daily occurrence over the past week, with Leord losing consciousness after a powerful blow from Gilbert.

"Again..."

When Leord regained consciousness, he found himself lying in bed as usual. After the grappling match with Gilbert, this was always how it ended. At first, he felt embarrassed about being changed into new clothes, but he had gotten used to it. This was just how things were for nobles.

It had been a week since he arrived in the border town of Zeato. Time had flown by, but it had been an intense period for Leord. So far, he had only been grappling with Gilbert, and nothing else.
