To be honest, I don’t want to write this kind of explanation that contains spoilers; it’s troublesome and boring.
Let's get straight to the point—
The protagonist will definitely leave Konoha, there’s no doubt about it.
This is where my views differ from some others.
From Konoha’s perspective, the protagonist’s act of leaving Konoha can indeed be called that of a叛忍 (a rogue ninja).
But from the protagonist’s perspective, they have never truly joined Konoha, so how can they be called a rogue ninja?
Don’t view the protagonist’s actions from Konoha’s perspective. From the protagonist’s perspective, even though Konoha’s system has many flaws and bad habits, it has nurtured and taught them, and that is a fact.
No matter how I try to hide it, the protagonist has been protected by Konoha and has grown up safely within it, learning the skills of a ninja.
Even if Konoha later realizes the importance of the protagonist and tries to bring them back, the protagonist can just take care of the pursuers.
It’s Konoha’s business to treat the protagonist as a rogue ninja.
The protagonist’s gratitude to Konoha is solely because Konoha has nurtured and taught them. They never intended to join Konoha, so in their eyes, they are not a rogue ninja. After repaying Konoha, both sides will be even, and they can oppose each other as needed.
It would be too ungrateful to deny Konoha’s kindness just because the protagonist doesn’t agree with Konoha’s ideology and beliefs.
Gratitude requires repayment, and differing ideologies mean parting ways.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with repaying Konoha, as Konoha has indeed shown the protagonist kindness.
I also don’t think there’s anything wrong with leaving Konoha, as their ideologies and thoughts differ, and one should not associate with those who have different paths.
This is the protagonist’s perspective on the matter.
As readers, how you think and understand it is up to you; I can’t force you. I’ve said everything I can say.
If you don’t like the protagonist’s character of repaying kindness and avenging grudges, you can click the ‘X’ to leave.
Human joys and sorrows are not always shared.
