Aquil Rein was a strikingly handsome young man. Even among the well-dressed and polished young nobles, he stood out, becoming the center of everyone's conversation.

At this moment, several women were gathered around him, each vying for the chance to speak with Aquil, causing the surrounding male peers to look on with envy.

Liger's arrival did not initially catch the attention of these people. However, Aquil, the most popular second son of the Rein family, was the first to notice him and warmly welcomed him.

"My brother, it's really great to see you safe and sound."

Aquil left the crowd, walking quickly towards Liger with his arms open, as if he intended to embrace him.

However, before Liger could react, someone stepped forward.

It was Aine and Ian.

The two female knights, who had been quietly following behind Liger, stepped in front of him, blocking Aquil's path as he approached with a warm expression.

"Huh?"

Aquil stopped in his tracks, taken aback.

The others were also momentarily stunned, then a murmur of excitement spread through the crowd.

"Who are these two female knights?"

"They are so beautiful."

The group of young nobles first noticed Aine and Ian's striking appearances, and many were captivated, their eyes fixed on the two female knights.

Aine and Ian, however, paid no attention to the attention, remaining cold and vigilant as they stood in front of Aquil.

Clearly, they were protecting Liger.

As attendants, it was their duty to prevent unfamiliar and suspicious individuals from approaching their master.

Since Yulie had instructed Aine and Ian to protect Liger, they naturally acted with the utmost caution.

Liger saw this and spoke up.

"It's fine, you can step back."

Upon hearing this, Aine and Ian silently took a step back, returning to their positions behind Liger. However, their eyes remained wary, watching all those who approached Liger, ready to intervene at any moment.

The scene, which had been lively, became somewhat awkward due to Aine and Ian's sudden actions.

The guards around them, especially Aquil's, seemed ready to step in, with their hands on their sword hilts.

Fortunately, Liger finally spoke, breaking the awkward silence.

"I hope I'm not late."

Liger took a step forward and said to Aquil with a faint smile.

"Of course not." Aquil, who had just recovered, glanced at Aine and Ian, then turned back to Liger with a warm smile. "We're just glad you could make it. It's been a month since we last saw you."

Just as Aquil finished speaking, another voice rang out.

"Looks like you're doing much better, Liger."

The speaker was a man with slightly tanned skin and a robust build. He wasn't as handsome as Aquil, but he had the look of an athlete, the kind who seemed to enjoy running in the sun, a type that many women who liked strong men would find appealing.

He approached as if following closely behind Aquil, first scanning Liger from head to toe, then smiling.

"You look better than I imagined. I thought you wouldn't dare to go out."

This seemingly teasing remark, laced with a hint of sarcasm, made Liger turn to look at the man.

From the memories of the original host, Liger quickly identified the man.

Sena Ram, the third son of the Ram Viscount family, was a year older than Liger and had a subtle animosity towards him.

The original host might not have noticed this man's subtle hostility, but Liger could see it in his insincere smile.

This animosity was likely due to the Ram family being a vassal of the Rein family.

Because of his family's vassalage to the Reins, Sena, though part of this small group, tended to follow Aquil's lead.

In short, he was Aquil's follower and probably resented Aquil's constant enthusiasm towards Liger.

The others also approached at this moment.

In total, six people came forward.

Four were men, and two were women.

The four men were all distinctive in appearance, with one tall, one short, one fat, and one thin, a combination that made people want to laugh and cry at the same time.

Some were from viscount families, others from baron families. They immediately gathered around Sena, subtly showing their allegiance to Aquil.

As for the two women, one had strikingly red hair, and the other was a young girl who looked around curiously. They formed a stark contrast, catching Liger's attention.

These four men and two women, along with Aquil and Sena, made up the group of young nobles who had previously been close to Liger.

Seeing everyone gathered, Liger's eyes flickered, his expression calm, though his thoughts were elsewhere.

"I kept you waiting." Liger said. "I didn't expect you to arrive so early."

Aquil was the first to laugh.

"We were all very worried about you, brother." Aquil opened his arms, but this time did not move to embrace Liger. "We heard you were attacked and severely injured. We were very concerned."

"Exactly." Sena still had that insincere smile. "If we had known you would turn a crisis into an opportunity, not only surviving but also forming a relationship with the Franzel family, we wouldn't have been so worried."

Sena's words made the other young nobles exchange subtle glances.

The red-haired girl and the curious young girl even glanced at Aine and Ian, standing behind Liger, their thoughts unknown.

Liger, however, paid no attention to Aquil's words or Sena's behavior.

He looked at Aquil meaningfully and said,

"This time, I did indeed have a stroke of luck."

Meeting a kind and life-saving benefactor like Yulie, Liger felt his luck was not too bad.

Of course, to the others, his words had a different meaning.

They thought Liger was referring to his newfound connection with the Franzel family.

Forming a relationship with the legendary prodigy of the Franzel family, this news would make many young nobles envious.

She was a national treasure of the kingdom, one of only eight strategic mages on the continent, and had achieved this at a young age!

The young lady, who was around Liger's age, was already the head of her family, a marquess, just below a duke!

Many people, including the fathers of these young nobles, wanted to form a relationship with this legendary beauty and powerhouse, whom even the royal family courted with respect.

None of them had the qualifications to form such a relationship; it was the heads of their families who sought such connections, leaving them without even the chance to queue up.

Yet, this legendary prodigy had taken Liger in.

Thinking of this, some of the young nobles were undoubtedly jealous.

Only Aquil remained as enthusiastic as ever towards Liger.

"Anyway, it's good that you're safe." Aquil patted Liger's shoulder and smiled. "Today, I'll treat you to a celebration of your recovery."

"Celebration?" Liger's tone paused, then he said somewhat oddly, "Where are we going to celebrate?"

"Where else?" Sena took over, grinning in a way that all the men understood. "Of course, to a place where everyone will have a great time."

This made the four men with varying builds all smile knowingly.

Seeing this, Liger knew exactly what they had in mind.

Even Marilyn knew that the past Liger often went out to revel with these people. With the original host's memories, Liger knew exactly what kind of people they were.

"Let's skip it." Liger immediately shook his head. "If that's the case, you guys go ahead without me."

"Why?" Sena asked, surprised. "Aren't you the one who enjoys this the most?"

Honestly, hearing such an evaluation, Liger was a bit puzzled.

That was the original host, not me. Don't make it sound like I'm always out causing trouble for good families.

"You'd better not involve me." Liger said bluntly. "I don't want to be kicked out."

Liger's words made everyone understand.

"True." Aquil laughed bitterly. "If I were you, I wouldn't dare to act recklessly either."

"Hmph." Sena said with a sour tone. "It's different when you're connected to a big shot."

At this moment, the red-haired girl, who had been silent, finally spoke.

"You're the ones with dirty minds." The red-haired girl snorted. "And have you forgotten we're here? Do you really want to take us to a place like that?"

The young girl, who had been looking around, also shot a disdainful look at Aquil and the others.

"Hey, hey, hey, don't take it seriously." Aquil's bitter smile deepened. "We wouldn't really go there. We were just joking!"

"Exactly, exactly!" Sena and the four men with varying builds nodded in agreement.

"How about this, let's go to the market." Aquil suggested. "I heard there are some good things there recently. We haven't been in a while, let's go check it out."

"That's more like it." The red-haired girl was finally satisfied.
