Wang Bo was taken aback and said, "That's also called sexual harassment? Come on, President Jin, I just have a loose mouth and speak without thinking. You are broad-minded, don't take it to heart. Could you please tell me about what happened at Teacher Xu's house?"

"Do you know what era we are in now? The information age. To get information, you have to pay a price," Jin Xiaoli said.

"What do you want?" Wang Bo asked anxiously, "It's just a small matter, you can't possibly want me to treat you to a meal, right?"

"Meal? Haven't you had enough?" Jin Xiaoli glared at him. To be honest, she didn't enjoy the meal on the weekend either. She continued, "This weekend, Liang Jingru is having a concert. Liu Yan and I couldn't get tickets. I've heard you brag about having a powerful cousin..."

"Your dad is a TV producer, getting a couple of tickets is a piece of cake. Are you trying to extort me?" Wang Bo glared back.

Jin Xiaoli pouted, "Asking my dad for help also depends on the timing. Can I just ask him for this?"

That made sense. Attending a concert was considered a frivolous activity, and asking her father for tickets would be like walking into a trap. Wang Bo nodded in understanding and agreed, "Just you and Liu Yan, right? Okay, I'll get the tickets. Can you tell me now?"

"The concert will be crowded," Jin Xiaoli said slowly, "It might not be safe for just the two of us. It would be best if you came along to be our bodyguard."

This request wasn't too much, so Wang Bo decided to endure it and nodded in agreement, "No problem, please tell me."

But to his surprise, Jin Xiaoli opened her mouth and suddenly blinked, "Almost forgot, I need to go to the bathroom." Then she stood up and called Liu Yan to go to the bathroom with her, taking the opportunity to report her success in extorting two concert tickets from Wang Bo.

When Jin Xiaoli returned, the class bell had already rung. She hurried back to her seat and didn't have time to explain to Wang Bo. So, Wang Bo waited anxiously until after school. Jin Xiaoli, while packing her bag, told him, "Liu Yan said we shouldn't take advantage of you all the time. You've treated us twice already, so tonight we'll treat you to a meal. Meet at Pizza Hut at six. We'll talk about your problem then."

Wang Bo took a deep breath, feeling like he was turning into a turtle.

At Pizza Hut that evening, he finally learned what had happened at the homeroom teacher's house. It turned out that Teacher Xu's husband had an affair with a colleague at work, and the woman was now pregnant. Recently, Teacher Xu's husband had proposed a divorce to her.

Liu Yan asked, "Weren't Teacher Xu and her husband childhood sweethearts? How did it come to this?"

"Childhood sweethearts don't necessarily last forever. I heard they've been married for three years and haven't had any children. It seems Teacher Xu can't have children, so her husband had an affair," Jin Xiaoli said sympathetically, "Teacher Xu is really pitiful."

Wang Bo listened with wide eyes. How could he help with this? He couldn't possibly persuade Teacher Xu's husband to change his mind. At this point, their relationship was already broken, and it would be better for them to part ways amicably.

No wonder Teacher Xu had been in a bad mood lately, often exploding in anger. It turned out she had been abandoned by the man she had grown up with and entrusted her life to. It would take at least a year or two for her to feel better.

Wang Bo ate his pizza, but his expression was like he was chewing wax. Liu Yan asked curiously, "What's wrong, Wang Bo? Do you hate pizza that much?"

"No, it tastes good," he replied listlessly, not even noticing a shrimp falling from his mouth.

"Then why do you look like you're eating a bitter melon?" Jin Xiaoli said unhappily, "It's like we're torturing you, and you're even affecting our appetites."

Wang Bo forced a smile, "I'm just feeling down after hearing about Teacher Xu's tragedy. Sigh, I don't believe in love anymore."

Jin Xiaoli and Liu Yan exchanged glances and then burst out laughing, "Give it a rest!" Jin Xiaoli said, "It's men who do things like this. If you were in his shoes, you wouldn't be much better. Changing your mind and being fickle is just men's nature."

Wang Bo argued seriously, "You're wrong. There are plenty of women who change their minds too, and not all men are like that, falling in love with every woman they see."

"Really?" Jin Xiaoli asked, "What about you? If your wife couldn't have children, would you divorce her and marry someone else?"

"Maybe not, maybe yes," Wang Bo said, "I can't guarantee it. Relationships are uncertain. I can only say that if I were to find someone else, I would end things with my ex. I wouldn't have an affair, especially not without telling her first. That's not decent."

Liu Yan asked, "What if your wife loved you very much? Would you still not care?"

He was taken aback for a moment and then said, "I don't know. I haven't experienced that, so how can I be sure? However, not having children is a big deal. I think some things are beyond our control."

Liu Yan fell silent, seemingly pondering his words. Jin Xiaoli nodded in agreement, "That's why my dad says Teacher Xu's husband has his own difficulties. His family has had only one child for five generations, and they place great importance on continuing the lineage. No matter how beautiful or how much she loves her husband, if Teacher Xu can't have children, it's useless."

Wang Bo's expression showed understanding, but his brows furrowed again. What could he do to improve Teacher Xu's mood?

After finishing their meal, the three of them parted ways at the bus stop. The two girls took the city bus home, while Wang Bo walked back. When he got home, he found the house empty. His father was on a business trip, and his mother was probably working overtime.

Wang Bo called to confirm. It turned out there was a problem with a batch of goods at the factory, and they had been returned for rework. The deadline was tight, and they would have to work all night. His mother sounded very anxious, so the call was brief.

With his parents not around, Wang Bo relaxed a lot. He brought his homework to the living room and did it while watching TV, taking his time until it was almost ten. Just as he put down his pen, he remembered something. He didn't have a proper set of gear for the school team tryouts the next day.

Wang Bo rushed out of the house and ran to the nearby supermarket. However, it had already closed. He called a taxi and headed to the night market. Fortunately, some stalls were still open. Wang Bo picked out a set of sports gear, including a jersey, shoes, socks, and shin guards, and then walked back slowly.

As he passed a street lined with bars, he saw various men and women entering and exiting. Some were so drunk they needed help to walk.

The ones who were most drunk were often heavily made-up women in revealing clothing, and the ones helping them were usually well-dressed men. It was obvious where they were headed, but it was unclear how many of these men would end up being fathers tonight.

Wang Bo looked around with interest and suddenly noticed a woman's clothing that seemed familiar. She was walking unsteadily, leaning against a wall, and a man in a suit was trying to chat her up, reaching out to help her but being pushed away each time.

Wang Bo approached and took a closer look. Damn, it was his homeroom teacher, Teacher Xu. He saw the man in the suit reaching out again, seemingly to grab her waist, and he felt a surge of anger. He strode forward, grabbed the man's collar, and pushed him hard.

The man, who was weak, stumbled several steps before regaining his balance. Just as he was about to argue, Wang Bo pointed at him and said angrily, "Get lost, or I'll make you regret it!"

The man, seeing Wang Bo's fierce look, knew better than to fight. He straightened his collar and huffed, "Rude." Then he ran into another bar to continue his hunt.

Wang Bo then turned to help his teacher. As he approached, he was hit by a strong smell of alcohol, making it hard to breathe. He saw that Teacher Xu could barely stand and quickly went to support her.

Teacher Xu struggled to push him away, "Go away, don't bother me..."

"Teacher Xu, it's me, Wang Bo."

Teacher Xu squinted and looked at him, then said, "Oh, it's you... What are you doing here?"

"I was shopping at the night market and happened to pass by. Teacher Xu, why are you so drunk?"

"I'm not drunk..." She waved her hand, "Don't think I'm so drunk that I forget things. You want to be a volunteer? Ha, no way."

Wang Bo thought to himself, you're so drunk and still being stubborn. Aren't you tired?

"Hmph," she continued, "Dare to say I abuse... uh... abuse my power... ugh!" She suddenly vomited, and Wang Bo couldn't avoid it in time. His shirt and pants were splattered with the alcohol-laden mess, and the pungent smell made him gag.

Teacher Xu bent over and vomited for a while, then panted heavily and slurred, "Sorry... I'll buy you a new set of clothes to make up for it."

"Don't worry about that," Wang Bo shook off some of the residue and forced himself to endure the nausea, "Where do you live? I'll take you home. You're not safe like this."

"I'm not going back!" Teacher Xu suddenly screamed, then slurred, "That's not my home. I've already signed the divorce papers. I never want to see that bastard again, let him die, die..."

"Then you need to rest, right?" Wang Bo said helplessly, "Where do you plan to go? To a friend's house or back to your parents' place? I'll take you there."

Teacher Xu swayed her head and looked at him, then extended a finger and waved it, "You're a fool. In this state, can I go to a friend's house? How embarrassing... My parents' place... It's hundreds of kilometers away. How can I get there? By plane?"
