Wang Bo thought to himself: This time, I really got into trouble. Just now, he almost reacted instinctively. It seemed that after learning the martial arts, his body would naturally counterattack when faced with danger. Perhaps because he hadn't fully mastered the techniques, his body acted without his control. He didn't want to fight, but his reaction was half a beat too slow, and his fist had already gone out.

Seeing him standing there in a daze, the rescued Lu Lu tugged at his clothes and said, "Hey, Wang Bo, are you okay?"

"Ah? Oh!" Wang Bo snapped back to reality, "I'm fine, they seem to have left."

Lu Lu turned to look at their retreating backs and muttered, "Seems so." She whispered to herself, "I don't even know them, why did they suddenly start bothering me?"

Wang Bo glanced at her up and down. Seeing her tight clothing, slightly protruding chest, and her white arms and legs exposed, she looked like a little sprite. He thought, if you weren't so alluring, would you have attracted those kinds of people?

His gaze was all too clear to Lu Lu. She returned to her usual demeanor at school, giving him a faint glance and saying indifferently, "No matter what, thank you."

"You're welcome. Classmates should help each other," Wang Bo said without any sense of pride. He didn't want to deal with this arrogant classmate, so he said frankly, "If there's nothing else, I'll go first. Be careful on your way."

Hearing that he was leaving, Lu Lu felt a bit uneasy. She frowned and asked, "Do you think they might come back?"

"Probably not," Wang Bo said, "Besides, it's broad daylight. What are you afraid of? If it gets too bad, just call for help. They won't dare do anything to you."

Lu Lu didn't want to show her fear, so she said forcefully, "Alright, alright, you go ahead."

Wang Bo felt like he had been granted a reprieve. He took a few steps towards home, but he was still worried that the two thugs might return with reinforcements. So he kept looking back and noticed that Lu Lu was following him, her white legs clearly visible.

Finally, they reached the entrance of Shuqiao Jingyuan. He turned a corner and entered the complex, thinking he had shaken off the tail. But to his surprise, Lu Lu ran in after him and quickly caught up.

Before Wang Bo could say anything, she pushed him urgently, "Quick, hide! They're catching up!"

Wang Bo immediately reacted, grabbing her slender arm. He felt the smoothness but didn't have time to think about it. He dragged her and ran, quickly rushing into his building's hallway. By the time they reached the third floor, they could hear shouts and the roar of motorcycles outside.

"I saw that girl enter this complex, she must be around here!"

"She's probably hiding, search carefully!"

Wang Bo cautiously approached the window at the stairwell corner and peeked out. He saw four motorcycles, each with two people, and the ones in the back held sticks and chains, looking like fierce demons. The two thugs who had been harassing Lu Lu were on two of the motorcycles, searching for them.

"Are you crazy? Do you want to die?" Lu Lu whispered, freeing her wrist and rubbing it. Wang Bo suddenly tensed and said, "They're going to search the building, follow me."

Sure enough, the motorcycles circled around without finding anyone and stopped by the road. Two people stayed to guard, while the others got off and entered the buildings, determined not to give up.

Wang Bo took Lu Lu up to the fourth floor, opened the door, and let her in, then quietly closed the door. Inside, they looked at each other and saw the cold sweat on each other's foreheads. They remained silent, listening to the commotion outside.

After all, they were just students and hadn't experienced being "chased." Their first thought was to hide, and they were lucky. If they had been caught earlier, who knows what would have happened.

Soon, the sound of footsteps echoed up the stairs to the fifth floor and then down again. Wang Bo and Lu Lu both breathed a sigh of relief, thinking they hadn't been discovered.

Wang Bo went to the window and looked down. The thugs were searching other buildings. Lu Lu stood behind him and asked in a low voice, "Are they gone?"

"Not yet, it might take a while," Wang Bo said, noticing that the group was smoking and discussing their next move, "They're not leaving anytime soon. You can hide at my place for a bit."

"Should we call the police?" Lu Lu suggested.

Wang Bo firmly rejected, "It's best not to. What if the police have connections with them? That would just expose us. Wait a bit, they won't find us and will leave soon."

Hearing this, Lu Lu didn't dare call the police. She muttered, "Why is this happening? I have a tutoring session, and I'm going to be late."

"Panicking won't help. Going out now would be like walking into a trap," Wang Bo said, "Where is your tutoring session? I can ride you there later." There was an old electric scooter in the garage, but the school prohibited students from riding them, so Wang Bo rarely used it.

Lu Lu hesitated, looking at him warily as if trying to see what he was up to, and waved her hand, "We'll see later."

Wang Bo thought, what's with the attitude? I'm not trying to be overly helpful. He didn't bother to explain and went back to the window to check. He saw the thugs start their motorcycles and leave, so he said, "Look, they're gone."

Lu Lu stood beside him and looked, her expression relaxing, "Finally, those guys are gone. I wonder who they are, so arrogant." After a while, she confirmed that they hadn't returned and said, "I have to go, or I'll be late."

Wang Bo said, "I'll ride you there."

"No need," Lu Lu said coldly, "It's not far. I can walk there in time." She hurried out, saying thanks before closing the door.

It seemed the incident was over. Although Wang Bo thought it was a bit premature for her to leave, he didn't try to stop her, seeing her deep wariness. Lu Lu was in a hurry to get to her tutoring session and didn't think much about it. Their lack of social experience led to a series of events.

It took no more than two minutes to walk from Wang Bo's building to the complex entrance. As Lu Lu stepped out of the complex, she felt a chill. She saw four motorcycles parked by the wall outside, and a group of people standing there. One of them, with a tattoo on his right hand, was grinning at her.

A few minutes after Lu Lu left, Wang Bo heard shouts from outside, "Brat, get out here!" He immediately knew something was wrong. Looking out the window, he saw a thin girl being pushed around by a group of thugs, with many people watching from their balconies.

When they reached the spot where they had parked, the thugs surrounded Lu Lu, shouting and demanding to know where Wang Bo was hiding. Despite being pushed around, she stubbornly refused to speak.

The tattooed thug, who had been hit earlier and lost face, was extremely angry. Seeing her defiance, he slapped her, "Bitch, are you going to talk or not? If you don't, I'll rape you, you believe that!"

Lu Lu's cheek instantly turned red and swollen. Her narrow eyes narrowed slightly, as if trying to remember the person who hit her. She spat out three words, "I don't know."

"You're still being stubborn," the tattooed thug said viciously, "I'll kill you today." He slapped her again, and she fell to the ground.

"Pick her up!" The tattooed thug, unable to find the boy who had hit him, decided to vent his anger on the girl. One of the thugs said, "Boss Bing, don't hit her face. The brothers will want to have some fun later. If she's disfigured, it will affect the mood."

The tattooed thug, called Boss Bing, laughed lewdly, "You have too many requirements."

Lu Lu, though defiant, wasn't stupid. She shouted, "Is there no man in this place? A bunch of men bullying me, and no one will help!"

The tattooed thug laughed, "Keep shouting, I want to see who will come to your aid." As he was about to hit her again, a voice rang out, "If you touch her again, I'll cripple you!"

The tattooed thug was taken aback, looking in the direction of the voice. He picked up a stick from a companion and said, "Brat, I finally found you!"

Wang Bo had rushed over as soon as he heard the commotion. Seeing his classmate on the ground, his eyes turned red with anger, and he blurted out a threat.

Lu Lu, lying on the ground, heard the words and was shaken. She couldn't understand where he got the courage to stand up for her at such a moment.
