Wang Bo went out and returned quickly. His father took the cigarette and asked, "Why didn't you stay longer at the teacher's house to help her clean or something?" Mr. Wang felt sorry for Ms. Xu, who lived alone.

"I didn't even go inside. I handed in the composition and left. Ms. Xu might be resting and didn't want to be disturbed," Wang Bo replied casually and went back to his room.

"I'm back," he called out, as if seeking approval, but Lu Lu's reaction was very indifferent, just a light "oh." Wang Bo sat down and started doing his homework, not noticing that the corner of Lu Lu's mouth slightly curved, showing she was quite happy.

"By the way, my dad is off today. Did he clean the small room?" Wang Bo asked, looking down. Lu Lu replied, "I don't think so. He probably watched TV all day."

Tsk... Wang Bo sighed inwardly: Dad is really lazy. Does he really plan to buy a bunk bed and make us sleep in the same room? How can I bear it?

"Why are you asking this?" Lu Lu asked coldly, "It seems like you're eager for me to move out."

"That's not what I mean. I want to move out myself," Wang Bo said, though he really wanted to sleep separately but didn't admit it. "But there are benefits to sleeping separately. We're not kids anymore, and living together can be a bit inconvenient. You wouldn't want to worry about me coming in when you're changing clothes, right?"

Lu Lu held the pen and twirled it in her hand, "I've only been here for a few days. How uncomfortable are you?"

"Huh?" Wang Bo turned to look at her, puzzled, "What do you mean by that?" He thought Lu Lu misunderstood his suggestion, thinking he couldn't stand living with her and was eager to separate.

"I didn't say I couldn't stand it. Don't misunderstand me. If you want to live together, I don't mind," he explained.

"I didn't misunderstand you; you misunderstood me," Lu Lu turned her head and said, "You got up in the middle of the night to turn on the computer, didn't you? Do you want me to continue?"

Wang Bo's face flushed, his mouth opened and closed, and he bit his lower lip, "Can you keep this a secret?" If she told his parents, he would be utterly embarrassed.

"Can you promise not to do that again?" Lu Lu asked, then added, "Living in the same room with you is already a hardship. I have to worry about seeing something disgusting. Do you think I live a tiring life?"

"Tiring, very tiring," Wang Bo, caught in her trap, had no courage left, and said with a forced smile, "As long as you live in this room, I promise it won't happen again." Even if it did, it wouldn't happen when you're around, even in my sleep. Wang Bo thought this girl was quite deep, staying calm through all his tests last night, and now giving him a hard time.

Lu Lu nodded in satisfaction and said, "Then write a pledge."

A pledge? Wang Bo's eyes widened. How do I write it? Should I promise not to do that in the room anymore? This would become a handle against me, proving I did it before.

There was no way Wang Bo would agree, so he shook his head like a rattle, "No way, I won't write that. Good girl, let it go, just this once. If you want, you can ask for something else. Anything!"

His reaction was exactly what Lu Lu expected. She was waiting for this. Now Wang Bo had walked into her trap, and he couldn't blame anyone else. "Okay, I can't think of anything now, so you owe me. I'll tell you when I think of something," she said calmly, feeling a bit smug. Last time, to find out a secret from Wang Bo, she had to trade a condition with him. Later, Wang Bo claimed he told her voluntarily, but she still felt a bit不服气 (unconvinced), thinking of finding an opportunity to get back at him. This time, she succeeded.

After calming her down, Wang Bo breathed a sigh of relief and went back to his homework. Lu Lu continued with her exercises. Around eight, Jin Xiaoli sent a text message urging him to go online. He was now the second in command in the room, with no freedom to speak of, so he asked Lu Lu for permission. She thought he was going to sing and, since she liked listening, she agreed.

Wang Bo turned on his computer and went online. Soon, Liu Yan sent a group chat request, and it was the usual three-person chat room. After connecting, they started with the main topic. Jin Xiaoli said, "I talked to my dad. He said if we want to report it, we should do it as soon as possible. He'll send a car tomorrow to shoot a short video. You can arrange a meeting with the two parties involved for an interview."

Wang Bo was delighted, "Thank you, President Jin! How do we contact you tomorrow? Should I find you directly?"

"I'll notify you when the car leaves. Have them wait at the station where the incident happened. We'll do the interview on-site and add some effects to the program."

"Sure, no problem!" Wang Bo agreed readily, feeling very happy that the matter was half done. Unexpectedly, Liu Yan said, "Wang Bo, you did all that today, and you still call her President Jin? That's too formal, right? Ha ha!"

Lu Lu's ears perked up at this, and she turned her head to look at him coldly. Wang Bo turned and saw her icy gaze, his body trembling. He mumbled into the microphone, "I didn't do it on purpose. It was all because of you. Besides, President Jin isn't petty and won't hold it against me, right?"

To his surprise, Jin Xiaoli said, "No, I feel I lost the most today. I'm still upset, Wang Bo. What are you going to do about it?" This was part of their plan to use this incident to pressure him, to remind him of his mistake.

"What to do..." Wang Bo struggled to think of a solution. He needed to calm them down quickly, or he might slip up. "How about this, I'll treat you to a meal at Zhang Luo Restaurant tomorrow and apologize. We'll drink until you're happy. How about that?"

Zhang Luo Restaurant was the best chain restaurant in the city, much better than the places they had been to before, and a well-known national brand. Last time, when they drank together, Jin Xiaoli had a great time. Hearing that he would treat her again, she laughed coldly, "You seem to have a good sense of responsibility. This time, you won't bring Lu Lu to ruin the fun, right?"

Last time, if Lu Lu hadn't been there, she would have already gotten Wang Bo drunk.

"No, this is an apology, not a celebration. I won't invite anyone else. Let's do it, at the restaurant at 6 PM tomorrow. Let's talk about the test now. You said you had a lot of questions yesterday, right?" After getting through this, he quickly changed the topic, and the two girls were indeed distracted. They could talk about other things in the private room tomorrow, so they focused on the test now.

The rest of the time was spent with Wang Bo answering questions. After an hour, Jin Xiaoli was called by her mother to take a shower, and the group chat ended. After logging off, Wang Bo felt a chill on his back and turned to see Lu Lu staring at him with narrowed eyes. She didn't say anything, clearly wanting him to explain what Liu Yan had mentioned.

He smiled coyly and said, "Today, Jin Xiaoli had heatstroke. We all went to a hotel to rest for a while. Liu Yan likes to joke and exaggerate. You know that, right? Ha ha, ha..."

"Is that all? Is it worth Jin Xiaoli remembering it so much? She's not that petty, right?" Lu Lu wasn't easily fooled; she was very perceptive.

"Um..." Wang Bo hesitated, then said, "Actually, when Jin Xiaoli fainted from the heat, Liu Yan unbuttoned her shirt, and I accidentally saw a little bit..."

"Is that all?" She was still a bit suspicious. Wang Bo closed his mouth, nodded, and looked very sincere. Seeing that Lu Lu turned away without showing any anger, he knew he had passed the test.

Wang Bo thought to himself: Why am I so afraid of her knowing what happened? We don't have any special relationship. Why do I feel guilty? Is it because I subconsciously want to leave a good impression on her? Tsk... When did I become so low? No, I need to be honest! But, maybe next time...

The next morning, before 9 AM, Wang Bo and his school team mates gathered at Guanglin Middle School's gate. He had already arranged with Lu Guanghe to play a friendly match with the accounting college's team on Sunday.

Wang Bo's team consisted of the main six players plus Lei Hu. Lu Guanghe brought four substitutes, including Liu Haichuan, making a total of twelve players. They decided that Lu Guanghe and Liu Haichuan would play as central defenders, Song Jemin and a substitute as wing backs, Wang Bo and Xue Zhichao as central midfielders, Zhao Jianbin and another substitute as wingers, and Hao Bin and Yu Peng as the forward duo. The goalkeeper was the school team's second goalkeeper, brought by Lu Guanghe.

Only Lei Hu was left without a position, but he had already agreed with Xue Zhichao to play for half the game each. The accounting college's team hadn't arrived yet, so Wang Bo told Lei Hu that he had contacted Peng Zhenzhen, and the TV reporter would come to interview him today, so he should be prepared.

Lei Hu was surprised that the matter was resolved so quickly, and his disappointment at only playing half the game was gone. He smiled, his face crinkling, looking even uglier than when he wasn't smiling.

As they waited, more familiar faces from the school team arrived, also there to play a casual game. They had heard about the match and came to join in. After counting, they found that, except for the senior students, everyone was there, making a total of sixteen. However, the lineup was already set, so the latecomers didn't fight for positions. They said they would watch from the sidelines and, if the other team had more players, they could play a small game on the concrete ground.
