After Chen Ang arrived in the world of *The Smiling, Proud Wanderer*, he did not rush to Huashan. Instead, dressed as a barefoot doctor, he traveled to Hengshan, treating patients along the way and trying to interact with as many martial artists as possible. Over the past two months, he had treated countless knife wounds and sores, not only gathering a lot of internal energy data but also gaining a bit of fame in the martial world.
Due to his superb medical skills, especially in surgery, he became famous a month ago when he performed an abdominal surgery to remove parasites from a child poisoned by a curse. This made him widely known, and he earned the nickname "Little Hua Tuo." This left Chen Ang somewhat amused and exasperated.
One day, Chen Ang was correcting the bone misalignment of a man practicing external martial arts. The man's twisted muscles and bones made Chen Ang frown deeply: "Without the correct training method, external martial arts may not show immediate problems, but over time, those without the secrets will develop deformed bodies. The few oral formulas I obtained are all incomplete, lacking the essential breathing techniques."
Chen Ang took a few steps back and assumed a strange stretching posture, instructing the man, "Copy my posture!" The man strained to stretch his body, his muscles almost twisting together. Despite the pain, he endured it, watching Chen Ang carefully.
Suddenly, Chen Ang struck like lightning, delivering a heavy punch to the man's body. Before the man could react, another heavy punch hit his abdomen, causing him to bend over in pain and stagger, almost falling to the ground. Chen Ang did not let up, stepping forward and striking his neck with an elbow, making the man's eyes water.
The man, unwilling to give in, struggled to get up. To his surprise, the stiffness and rigidity in his body seemed to have vanished. Before he could fully comprehend it, Chen Ang kicked him in the face, and the man felt a sense of relief. He realized that Chen Ang's heavy strikes had always targeted the twisted muscles and bones, loosening them.
"Feels great! Feels great!" The man's face lit up with joy, no longer blocking, and he eagerly welcomed Chen Ang's punches and kicks, fearing that they were not strong enough. Seeing his cooperation, Chen Ang used the newly learned techniques on him.
Although he had practice dummies, nothing compared to a live target. Chen Ang delivered a "Black Tiger Heart Snatching" punch, feeling the muscles move unnaturally. He adjusted slightly and delivered another "Black Tiger Heart Snatching" punch.
With his remarkable learning ability, Chen Ang had memorized many widely known martial arts techniques from the patients he treated. However, most of these martial artists were half-trained, so their techniques were of limited reference value. Ultimately, he had to correct the mistakes himself.
No one in the martial world could match Chen Ang's understanding and sensitivity to the human body. After just a few punches, Chen Ang's "Black Tiger Fist" had transformed. He did not force his muscles to exert the most optimized force but adapted the technique to suit himself while retaining its essence. In a short time, he felt a subtle warmth flowing through his body.
Just by practicing one set of techniques, Chen Ang had developed a sense of qi. If the martial artists who took years to reach this level knew, they would surely stomp their feet and cry out in frustration at the unfairness of it all. However, the reason was simple: the qi in the sense of qi refers to blood and qi, and the tingling, swelling, and other sensations are the result of blood and qi circulation, ultimately affecting the body.
In this aspect, no one could match Chen Ang in his complete state.
From the moment he started practicing the technique to developing a sense of qi, Chen Ang took only a short while. Now, every strike he made carried a faint vibration. Each time he hit the man, it made him feel weak and exhilarated, his face filled with excitement.
"Feels great! Feels great! Harder, harder!" The man rolled on the ground, shouting excitedly.
Damn! I've encountered a pervert! Chen Ang felt a chill run down his spine and hesitated to strike again. Seeing him stop, the man quickly crawled to his feet and tried to grab his leg. Chen Ang, feeling disgusted, kicked him several yards away, and he crashed into a wall, moaning in pleasure before passing out.
Shit, he didn't awaken some new attribute, did he? Looking at the man lying in the corner with a flushed face, Chen Ang felt nauseous. He should have used acupuncture instead of this method. Greed for a free target had backfired on him.
At that moment, a sweet voice came from behind, "Sister Yilin, let's find another clinic!" Chen Ang turned around and saw a young girl, about eleven or twelve years old, wearing a red dress, looking at him with wide, curious eyes.
This hurt Chen Ang's feelings. He wanted to explain but knew it would be futile. He turned away, pretending to be a cold and aloof doctor.
Qu Feiyun was still alive and had already met Yilin. By the timeline, this should be after Linghu Chong's injury from his battle with Tian Boguang. The Liu Zhengfeng family had not yet been massacred, but it would happen soon.
"What's wrong? We heard that Little Hua Tuo is the best doctor. Linghu Brother is severely injured and unconscious. We are waiting for a doctor to treat him!" A young nun, about sixteen or seventeen years old, peeked out from behind the girl.
Seeing Chen Ang's appearance, she clasped her hands together and pleaded, "Doctor, can you come with us to treat him?"
Chen Ang found her shy and adorable and knew where they were going but asked, "Oh? Which grand temple or quiet sanctuary?"
Yilin's face turned red to her ears. She was both embarrassed and anxious, unable to speak. Qu Feiyun rolled her eyes at Chen Ang, took out a silver ingot, and slapped it on the table, "Fifty taels, will you do it?"
Chen Ang, feeling mischievous, took out a larger gold ingot and slapped it back, "No!"
Qu Feiyun, angry, took out a bunch of black needles, "Will you do it now?"
Chen Ang flicked his wrist, and a silver flash shot out. Qu Feiyun's wrist went numb, and she dropped the black needles. Yilin clearly saw a fine silver needle, as thin as a cow's hair, straight into Qu Feiyun's right wrist's numb point.
It was just an ordinary acupuncture needle, light and soft. An ordinary doctor might not be able to insert it into Qu Feiyun's wrist even if holding it in hand. Yet, from a distance, Chen Ang could shoot it with such accuracy and strength, which was truly terrifying. His precision in hitting the point and his skill with the needle were astonishing. Yilin realized that this Little Hua Tuo was not just a name.
Qu Feiyun, trying to remove the silver needle, found that any movement made her wrist tingle and go numb. She had no ill intentions, but feeling wronged, tears streamed down her face. She was only a young girl, and her tears made Chen Ang feel awkward.
"Don't cry! It makes me look like I'm bullying a little girl. Alright, alright! I'll go with you!"
Qu Feiyun, with a pout, looked up and sobbed, "You are bullying me!" She stomped her foot and tried to run away, but after taking a few steps, she collapsed.
Chen Ang quickly went over and removed the silver needle, "This is my unique technique. Anyone hit by this needle must not move until I remove it. Otherwise, the needle will only go deeper, causing more pain. Fortunately, I hit a numb point. If it were a vital point, you would have fallen and died on the spot."
Qu Feiyun, frightened by his words, hid behind Yilin with wide, bright eyes. Chen Ang, who had been a lifelong high school bachelor in the real world and a bookworm in the *Endless* world, could only use intimidation to deal with girls, showing that intelligence had little to do with flirting.
