In the changing room, Catherine stood bare-chested.
"I never thought you'd already be a B cup."
Lisa measured Catherine's chest several times, not just the upper and lower bust, but also the vertical length, who knows what she was up to.
"You're already a B?" she suddenly said in surprise.
"No way, it still looks so small!" Catherine was a bit puzzled.
In fact, this was due to the misleading influence of the so-called manga from her past life.
Some anime use "fan service" as a selling point, exaggerating women's chests to an extreme. Sometimes, an E cup is depicted as large as two basketballs, but in reality, an E cup isn't that big. It just gives a fuller appearance when wearing a bra.
"Is a B that big?" Lisa gave Catherine a strange look, and the latter could only scratch her head.
Then Lisa suddenly grinned.
"Maybe it could grow to a G, or even an H."
Cold sweat seemed to trickle down Catherine's forehead.
"That's too big..."
Lisa shrugged, "Don't people always prefer bigger?"
In the West, this seems to be a truth.
Just like the famous adult magazine Playboy, there's a popular saying that "Playboy's sales are proportional to the size of the cover girl's chest."
Lisa's fingers traced over Catherine's small nipples, making her shiver.
"Even though an H might be a bit big, a G would be just right, I think."
Indeed, the aesthetic differences between Westerners and Asians are significant.
Even in East Asia, while C, D, E, and F cups are common in Hong Kong and Taiwan, the majority in mainland China are A and B cups.
For Catherine, from an aesthetic perspective, she wasn't too concerned about the size of her chest; she just wanted it to look good.
From a practical standpoint, Catherine hoped her chest wouldn't exceed a C cup.
"Maximum C," Catherine told Lisa.
"That's too small, it won't even be noticeable," Lisa seemed dissatisfied with Catherine's lack of concern for her chest size.
"Whatever, let it grow as big as it wants."
"Alright, put your clothes on. Even with the air conditioning, you might catch a cold."
Finally, it was done.
Catherine sighed in relief and got dressed.
"Kate, come by tomorrow to pick up your order, I'll give you a surprise~"
Lisa smiled at Catherine.
"Thank you so much."
Strangely, Catherine felt that being naked in front of her friend wasn't as embarrassing as buying a bra. She even wondered if there was something wrong with her.
But since it was done, there was no point in dwelling on such trivial matters.
Back home, Catherine turned on the TV and inserted the Superman VHS tape.
The VCR, which appeared in 1956, was a luxury item, but Bruce had bought a set when he upgraded to a color TV, along with a set of Superman VHS tapes.
This was an animated series from 1941, in color, and considered nostalgic.
Each episode of Superman was only 8 minutes long, but each one cost $30,000 to produce... in 1941!
Americans are truly strange; despite having only a 200-year history, they love nostalgia. Whether it's Transformers or Superman, these old things always become popular again.
Even celebrities should be out of the limelight after 30 years, but these fictional characters and things remain popular.
Catherine also wanted to get a piece of the pie and create a few "classic characters," but she didn't have the resources. After all, creating anime or TV shows isn't a one-person job.
Thinking about this, she could only shake her head and take out her integrated circuit board.
It had a 2KB IBM memory chip, and the countless transistors Catherine had soldered on were Fairchild products. Combined with the TV circuit control, the board looked incredibly complex.
But making it was simple; the only issue was connecting it to the TV's cathode ray tube.
This board was something Catherine had been working on for a while, and she had spent all her pocket money on it.
The only reason she couldn't complete it earlier was the lack of a TV.
When the family upgraded to a color TV, the old 14-inch black-and-white set was moved to Catherine's bedroom.
She quickly disassembled the black-and-white TV.
Catherine had chosen to study software engineering because of her interest in computers. Although she had also studied directing, it was just for fun, as the directing program at her non-professional school was mostly a money-making scheme.
Without a computer, Catherine had to rely on her knowledge of electronics.
Although it was troublesome, after a few hours, she managed to complete it.
"Don't underestimate Chinese college students!"
Catherine smiled proudly, but her work wasn't done yet. She took out a typewriter.
What she wanted to do was simple—convert it into a keyboard.
This wasn't difficult. In the future, a man named Jack Zylkin spent nine months designing and manufacturing a typewriter keyboard that could connect to a USB port, but the actual production time was only an hour.
Catherine had done this before after reading the report, and now it was second nature to her.
She wanted to buy a computer keyboard, but couldn't find one, so she had to DIY it.
After finishing, she turned on the TV and adjusted the knob. Soon, a black-and-white screen appeared, showing a game. People of this era might not recognize it, but in the future, even those who had never touched a computer knew it—Tetris.
"Done!"
Catherine jumped up excitedly.
Catherine was interested in industries like anime, computers, fashion, movies, and games, but she didn't have the energy for all of them right now.
Without money, everything was just talk.
So she focused on any industry that could bring in money. The upcoming TV boom was also on her radar.
Of course, this wasn't urgent. Although she had created the game, she couldn't play it for a while because she still had to shoot a movie.
"Right, what should I call this?"
Catherine thought for a moment and decided to name it "GameTV."
Catherine also wanted to separate the console, but that would require modifying the input ports, and she didn't have the time. For now, this would have to do.
On the other side, Lisa also sighed in relief. The lingerie she made for Catherine was finished, and it looked good. Lisa was very satisfied.
...
By the way, what is the ideal chest size for adult women? There's a poll.
