Jiangzhou, one of the nineteen states under heaven, borders the East Sea and is rich in lakes within its territory.

In the territory of Jiangzhou, the city of Guangling.

On Jinglou Street in the western part of Guangling City, the street was bustling with people, lively and bustling.

"Six years," a young man in simple clothes said, a sword hanging at his waist, leading a horse along the street, "Finally back, after being away for so long, I still think my hometown is the best."

Clomp! Clomp! Clomp!

The sound of hooves was urgent, and a young man in fine clothes was riding a tall horse, galloping down the bustling street. For a moment, the people on the street hurriedly moved out of the way. Behind the young man on the horse, servants and guards were chasing on horseback, shouting, "Young Master, slow down, slow down."

The young man in simple clothes saw this scene and led his horse to the side to avoid it, watching the young man in fine clothes ride past.

"Whose kid is that? Right, I've been away from home for six years. Six years ago, this kid was probably only seven or eight years old," the young man in simple clothes smiled and continued on his way.

Looking at the familiar hometown, even some familiar vendors.

"Six years, when I left home, I was only fifteen. Compared to back then, I've changed a lot," the young man in simple clothes sighed.

At fifteen, he was full of vigor and sharpness!

He was hailed as the best of the young generation in Guangling.

However, after traveling the world for six years, he realized how naive he had been back then.

...

Walking along, he saw familiar shops and taverns, familiar rivers and stone bridges.

Finally, leading his horse, he arrived at the gate of a mansion.

Closer to home, the more anxious he felt. The young man in simple clothes led his horse, took a deep breath, and then knocked on the gate, knock, knock, knock.

Creak.

The gate opened a crack, and an old man poked his head out, his eyes widening, "Second Young Master!" The young man in simple clothes looked ordinary, but the old man had watched Second Young Master 'Qin Yun' grow up and recognized him at a glance.

"Uncle Li," Qin Yun said with a smile.

"Second Young Master is back, Second Young Master is back!" The old man shouted excitedly, his voice echoing throughout the mansion, and he quickly pulled open the main gate.

"Let me, let me, I'll lead the horse," the old man took the reins.

"Yun, Yun." The mansion was filled with noise, and a middle-aged woman in fine clothes rushed out, followed by several maids. Seeing Qin Yun at the gate, the middle-aged woman couldn't hold back her tears.

"Mother."

Qin Yun's eyes also welled up, and he ran over.

The middle-aged woman carefully examined her son, touching his arms and face, "Good, good, it's good that you're back, it's good that you're back. Yes, you've grown taller."

"Second Young Master, your mother has shed so many tears for you, praying for you every day before the Buddha," the female steward said.

"It's my fault for being unfilial, only now returning," Qin Yun looked at his mother, noticing the additional white hair and wrinkles on her face, his heart aching. Unconsciously, his mother was nearly fifty years old.

"Let's not talk about it, it's good that you're back," the mother's eyes were filled with tears, but they were tears of joy, and she instructed, "Quickly, go inform the Master and the First Young Master."

"Yes."

The female steward immediately went to arrange it.

...

The entire Qin mansion was filled with joy, and soon the master of the mansion, 'Qin Lietao,' returned.

"Master."

"Master." The servants and maids in the mansion all bowed respectfully, but their brows were filled with joy. The return of the Second Young Master made everyone happy.

The one-armed man nodded slightly, his eyes sharp, a single saber hanging at his waist, his无形的威压让那些仆人和丫鬟们恭敬不已,他便是这秦府的主人‘秦烈虎’,也是广凌郡城的三大银章捕头之一。

The one-armed man nodded slightly, his eyes sharp, a single saber hanging at his waist, his无形的威压让那些仆人和丫鬟们恭敬不已,he was the master of the Qin mansion, 'Qin Lietao,' and one of the three silver-badge constables in Guangling City.

"Father," Qin Yun and his mother Chang Lan came out to greet him.

"Yun," the one-armed man 'Qin Lietao' saw his son and his eyes also welled up, a bit moist.

A son traveling far away always worries his mother, and although the father didn't say it, he was also constantly worried. Although he knew that for his son's future, he should let him go out and explore, he still felt anxious.

He was afraid, afraid that his son would never return.

Because the world is vast, with deep mountains and large lakes where monsters often hide, and the journey outside is full of dangers.

"Good to be back, good to be back," Qin Lietao looked at his son, who was now clearly more mature and had a more restrained aura compared to his former sharpness.

"Have you broken through?" Qin Lietao asked, knowing very well that his son was practicing the legendary immortal cultivation method, which is extremely difficult to achieve.

"Two and a half years ago," Qin Yun said with a smile.

Qin Lietao's eyes lit up, this breakthrough was truly a leap from fish to dragon.

"Good, good, good, I, Qin Lietao, have a remarkable son," Qin Lietao was extremely excited, and this matter was so significant that he hadn't even dared to tell his wife Chang Lan.

"Can't you two go inside and sit down to talk?" Mother Chang Lan said.

"Let's go inside, let's go inside and sit down," Qin Lietao also said.

...

After chatting with his parents for a while, he heard a voice from outside.

"Master, Master."

After lunch, a constable came to the hall and shouted loudly.

Everyone in the hall heard it.

"Yun just came back today, can't he rest for a day?" Lady Chang Lan said, somewhat dissatisfied.

"Madam, I'll go and ask first," Qin Lietao said and immediately walked out.

Outside, the constable was a tall and muscular man, with a broad back and a thick iron staff, which looked to weigh over a hundred pounds. He could easily smash a wall with it, but he was obediently waiting outside.

"Old Xu, what's the matter?" Qin Lietao walked up and asked in a low voice. He had already instructed earlier that no one should disturb him unless it was something important, as his son who had been away for six years had just returned.

"Master, I didn't want to disturb you, but the Prefect personally ordered you to go, as there is an important matter. You probably won't be able to return home for a day or two," Xu the constable said.

"The Prefect? A day or two?" Qin Lietao frowned.

The Prefect, who held both military and political power in the entire Guangling Prefecture, had the authority to execute officials of the seventh rank and below in emergencies. No one in Guangling dared to challenge the Prefect's authority.

Qin Lietao returned to the hall.

"The Prefect has something important and I might be away for a day or two," Qin Lietao put on his outer robe and hung the single saber at his waist.

"Be careful," Lady Chang Lan said.

"I'll see Father off," Qin Yun also stood up.

"What are you seeing off? Go back and stay with your mother and the others," Qin Lietao said as they walked out together.

"Second Young Master, it's been six years, I really missed you," Xu the constable said with a smile.

"Uncle Xu, your Fire and Wind Staff has grown even bigger, it seems your strength has greatly improved," Qin Yun said.

"Not worth mentioning, not worth mentioning," Xu the constable said.

In front of Qin Yun, who became the best of the young generation in Guangling City at fifteen, Xu the constable was naturally humble.

"Father, if you can't come back in a day or two, is there something important? Do you need my help?" Qin Yun asked.

Qin Lietao glanced at his son and smiled, "Don't worry, in Guangling City, the government is the strongest!"

"Okay," Qin Yun nodded.

He saw his father off to the gate of the mansion.

Outside, horses were already prepared, and his father and Xu the constable rode off.

Qin Yun watched his father leave and then activated the true essence in his body to cast a spell.

"Divine Eye, open!"

In the depths of Qin Yun's pupils, magical patterns condensed. On the surface, there was no visible change, but in Qin Yun's eyes, the world had changed!

It was still afternoon, with the sun high in the sky, but in Qin Yun's eyes, the sky was filled with endless green aura. On the distant horse, his father 'Qin Lietao' had a few strange auras around him, including a light pink aura, a dark green aura, and a blood red aura... a total of six auras, but each was very weak and would likely dissipate over time.

"Father, as one of the three silver-badge constables, occasionally coming into contact with monsters and being tainted by a bit of monster aura is normal," Qin Yun felt relieved, as these auras were only on the surface and had not penetrated his body, posing no hidden danger.

Qin Yun turned and walked back into the mansion.

With his Divine Eye active, he could see that humans emitted human aura, plants and trees had their own auras, and all living things had their own auras, varying in strength. Under the Divine Eye, nothing could hide.

Of course, in his own mansion, excluding himself, his father had the strongest life aura! The life auras of the maids and servants were much weaker.

"Yun, come, come, don't worry about your father, he often has to go on official business," Mother Chang Lan urged from the hall.

Qin Yun looked into the hall.

With the Divine Eye, he could see the auras of everyone in the hall.

His mother, his sister-in-law, and his nephews and nieces all had normal auras, but his older brother's aura...

"Hmm?" Qin Yun was startled.

He saw that his older brother 'Qin An,' dressed in a brocade robe, had a weak aura, and a strong, evil green aura had penetrated his body, intertwining completely with his life aura.

"Monster aura! Such a strong monster aura, it has deeply penetrated his muscles and organs. It has entangled with my brother more than once or twice, and my brother's life aura is very weak. If this continues, it will be impossible to hide, and he will fall seriously ill and die!" Qin Yun's heart trembled with anger and a desire to kill, "Who, who did this to my brother?"

Qin Yun was both shocked and angry, and also deeply afraid!

Because if he had returned half a year later, he might never have seen his brother again.

Finally, the new book is starting again.

I am very moved. During the pre-release, familiar readers like oldk (karlking), Ling Yu, Qingshang Nide Wenrou, Jiangnan v Shenhua, R Xiaoyueyue, Kundun, The Last Titan, Zhexianzi, Wuliang Jiangyou, Yuxi Nanan, and Shouhu Tianxi all gave generous rewards, and there were many familiar Red Alliance members who have been with me for a long time. I apologize for not being able to list them all, but I will remember everything in my heart. What I can do is to write a wonderful and engaging novel.
