3 Crimson cocoon

Waiting until all the children went back to the village, Xue Ming An walked to the cliff, looking down he could only see a dense sea of fog, but as if amused by something Xue Ming An started to smile.

"Ha ha, who would now that we would meet again!"

Saying this sentence full of emotion, as if seeing his own brother after a long time, Xue Ming An jumped down the cliff...

Mel was still siting at the same place she landed on before, concentrating on any kind of noise, not moving anywhere out of fear that something could come out of the darkness.

"Grandfather where are you?"At the end of her nerves Mel was on the verge of crying, hoping her grandfather comes to her rescue.

"Stupid granddaughter of mine, whats the need of crying, those it bring you out of this place, those it fill your stomach for you not to hunger, stop this needless act and start to man up!" came the berating voice of Mels grandfather from behind her, not at all thinking of comforting his trembling granddaughter one bit.

Funilly his attitude is completly diffrent then in front of the children, where he treated his words like gold.

But as if she didn't hear her grandfathers mean rant, Mel spun around and rushed to her grandfather, jumping in his embrace and answering back, " Stop saying man up, I'm not a boy, I'm a girl! Now bring me out of here grandfather, this place is scary."

"What!! Going so fast when I just came here you rude brat, not even thanking your Elder for rescuing you! Just wait when we go back home, I will punish you for your disrespect!" angry at his ungrateful granddaughters response, Xue Ming An immediatly decided to punished her. Mel not nowing what she did wrong to anger her grandfather to this point, just looked up flabbergasted to his grandfather not able to make sense what was going on.

" Now, now old man Xue, what kind of behavior is this to show in front of a friend. Look how you scared you're little granddaughter... kyaaaa~ she is sooo cute~," Coming out of the darkness, a feminine voice started scolding Xue Ming An and seeing the cute bun in his arms she couldn't hold herself and stole Mel out of his embrace to cuddle with her, " kyaa, she is even cuter then my sons."

A beatifull woman with silver hair and translucent skin, came out of nowhere. She had delicate featurs, silver eyes and cherry pink lips, that gave her a youthful appearance.

Wearing a blue white robe like garment, with a silver flower pattern. The oppenings of the robe was adorned with grey fluffy fur, it complimented her perfectly with those silver hair and eyes. Her looks were like a flower fairy, beatiful, yet fragile with no impurities.

Only... there was one problem and that was how she acted, when she saw Mel, like a crazed teenager that saw her Idol, screeming how good looking he is, in this case it was screaming how cute Mel is.

"Cecil my old friend, long time not seen, this is my granddaughter Mel, who will become 5 in this winter. How are you and the boys?" Xue Ming An didn't care Mel beeing snatched by Cecil, he did not meet her for a long time so he will let his granddaughter suffer a bit.

"So her name is Mel hmm... cute~. The boys are well off, roaming here and there leting them sometimes to be seen (thats a lie😑 they never came back), haah... children, when they grow up, they want to leave the nest immediately, not wanting to stay with their parents, it seems like we are emberrassing them in front of their friends or so, thats what they say.... I say they just want to run away from me and their father!"

Fuming inwardly Cecil squeezed Mel in her arms, here and there to vent off her feelings of her disobedient sons who left home. For the real reason beeing their mothers clinginess, she can become really obsessed some times when she finds good looking things, naturally with her appearance her sons must be quite the eye candy too.

Thats how she got her husband too, clinging to him until death do them apart. Not that her husband, Kiel, minds her clinginess, it's the complete opposite, he likes it very much being adored by his love to this state.

In the end, this crazy couple is still lovely-dovely together, after the advanced age of 157, getting on the nerv of their children.

Seeing how his dear granddaughters face is contouring in to a painful grimace, Xue MIng An could not let her suffer anymore and snatched her back from Cecils deadly hands.

"What are you doing old man. I was just shovering her with my love! Did you have to disturb me?!"

"Rather then shovering her with your love, you are shovering her with an early death, you blind woman! Don't you see her face full with pain, no wonder your boys left their home, who nows when they would be squeezed to death by you!" dissatisfied at Cecils uninhibited conduct, Xue Ming An rebutted her harshly back, feeling even a bit embarrassed to have called her an Elder to his granddaugther.

Which Elder would pinch the young ones to death and let their anger out on them.

No one!!

"Now, now, my dear wife, still your agitation, you only harm yourself and the little girl, thinking of those unfilial sons of ours. Don't you still have your youngest son Ryan, you can shover him with your love as long as you want!" a magnetizing voice came out of nowhere, shaking the fluffy black floor.

Listening to what her husband says, Cecil became cheerful again and beckoned Ryan her youngest son who could not leave home yet, to come to her, " Ohhh, you're so right honey!! How could I forget my sweety so fast, tehee?! Come here my sweety~!"

Hopeless, Ryan who hid in the a corner with red rimed eyes, because of the treacherous action of his henpecked father whispered; " Naturelly you forgot me, I was evading you the whole 5 years and it went so well, until father had to remind you of my existence, you traitor of a father, that gives revenge for sure! Damn those brothers of mine using me as a decoy to escape!"

With no chance to run away Ryan slowly came out of his dark corner, slowly tapsing to his mother still thinking how he could escape the next years of torture.

Getting a glimpse of him, Xue Ming An asked in wonder, " Ryan, who is he? I did not see him the last time!"

"Ah right, you don't now him yet, but the last time you saw us was 20 years ago, I got pregnant with him after you left, I wished to have a daughter, but... haah... fate gave me another son, at least this one looks like his father so he is absolutly adorabel!"

'How fortunate you are for having another son, who nows if a female would survive under your claws' leting none of his thoughts slip out, Xue Ming An stayed silent not to get slaugthered by the beast with human clothing in front of him.

Mel still in his grandfathers embrace, saw a cute, little cat like thing come out of the darkness to Cecil. Just to be shovered with a round of squeezing and puling. It had... no Ryan had lustrous black hair, green cat eyes and a tail similar to a fox, it was unbearable cute and Mel was immediately enamored by Ryans cuteness, but seeing how he is totured by Cecil, she felt anger, how can a mother treat her own child like that.

She could not endure how he was mishandled by Cecil, so she sprung from his grandfathers embrace and shouted angrily at Cecil, " Stop already! You're hurting the poor thing, dont you see how pained he is!"

Stunned by Mels angry shout, Cecils eyes widened, never in her life did anyone shout at her with such rage. In her shock she let go of Ryan, Ryan who fell on the floor, was stunned too by Mels courage to shout at his mother, who had his cold protective father behind her, who lets no one be harsh to his mother.

Seeing Mel, his blood rushed up, his heart quickened and an uknown feeling welled up in him, with an incredulous idea that would never come up to his mind. As if controlled by something, he dashed to Mel and sprung at her, biting her fair hand. Nor Xue Ming An or Cecil saw this coming from Ryan, so they were to late to react.

Mel felt a stinging pain coming from her hand and saw how blood was dripping down, at the same moment the blood dripped on the floor, it turned to a crimson smoke raising up to Ryan and Mel, enveloping their whole bodys in a cocoon like shape.

It did not matter if Cecil or Xue Ming An tried to interfere, an invisible wall pushed them three meters away from the crimson cocoon, that swallowed both children, letting them not see what's happening in there, nor letting them stay in the near of the cocoon.
