In the room assigned to Lucrezia, Rosa expressed her desire to be alone with her, saying she had something to talk about.
"Sis, I want to marry Lord Ramilio."
--- I thought you would say it someday.
Ignoring Lucrezia's discomfort, Rosa continued.
"Sis, you have a lot of money, so you can live without getting married, right? But I have nowhere to go. The Illuminati title is gone, and it seems my father can't prepare a dowry for me..."
Lucrezia listened, feeling drained.
"What about Lord Falco?"
"His parents went missing, and you know that, right? He's wanted, so the engagement is invalid."
Indeed, if Falco were to propose now, it wouldn't be a problem.
However, that wasn't what Lucrezia wanted to know.
"Didn't you like Lord Falco?"
"He's just too much of a womanizer. I've cooled off. I can't believe he would go after other people even when I'm around."
Lucrezia's eyes naturally narrowed.
"...It was you who made a move on Lord Falco while engaged to me. Have you forgotten?"
"That's what happens when two people like each other, right? You're not cute at all. Lord Ramilio would definitely prefer me over you."
Lucrezia recalled Ramilio's words over the past few days.
When asked about the type of woman he liked, he said:
"I like girls who are reliable and can handle household affairs."
"I also like girls with silver hair. I find it intriguing when I can't tell what they're thinking, and it makes me want to get to know them better."
No matter how you look at it, the characteristics he described fit Lucrezia more. Yet, Rosa said it so casually.
"Is that so? Then I'll try to be like that."
Lucrezia couldn't understand Rosa's thinking anymore.
--- Is being cute about acting like that?
She didn't know. Was that cute?
Interrupting an engaged couple and acting as if to say "look at me" isn't cute. Does only Lucrezia think so?
"...I don't know what Lord Ramilio thinks, but..."
Lucrezia said, slightly irritated.
"You think you're better because I'm not cute, right?"
"Yeah. That's right. No one would like you."
Lucrezia pouted and decided.
"Then, I'll try to be cute."
"Huh?"
"If I become cute and Lord Ramilio likes me, will you back off?"
Rosa was confused.
"No, well... that's not what I meant."
"Then, what do you mean? What makes you think you're cuter than me? I can..."
Yes, Rosa is making a big mistake.
Lucrezia looked at Rosa with her gloomy eyes and said firmly.
"I can be cute if I want to."
Rosa's eyes widened, and then she burst into laughter.
"Hahaha! So, you can be cute! That's great! Well, why don't you try?"
Laughing as if it were the funniest thing, Rosa said, and Lucrezia calmly replied.
"In return, if Lord Ramilio finds me cute, I want you to never ask me to give up my engagement again."
"Sure. If you can do it, go ahead."
Rosa and Lucrezia decided to visit Ramilio together.

Ramilio seemed to be in the middle of an audience, indicating with a gesture that he was keeping someone waiting, and asked them in a low voice, "What's wrong?"
Rosa nudged Lucrezia with a grin.
"Sis says she has something important to talk about. See?"
Lucrezia, with her lifeless eyes, shook her head.
--- This gloomy expression is hopeless.
If her face can't do it, she'll put her heart into her words.
Lucrezia remained optimistic.
"I intended to, but if you're busy, it's fine now."
Lucrezia stared at Ramilio, hoping her heartfelt words would convey.
"I'll wait in the study."
"Got it. I'll come as soon as I'm done."
Lucrezia gently took Ramilio's hand.
She hadn't forgotten how he held her hand when he proposed.
"? What are you—"
"I'll wait for you forever."
"!?"
Ramilio was startled.
--- No, I scared him.
She had meant to be cute.
Lucrezia tried to recover and continued.
"I can't wait to talk to you, Lord Ramilio."
--- I sound like a chatterbox.
Lucrezia, despite appearances, was talkative. She wanted to convey her affection by saying she wanted to talk, but was this the right way?
Lucrezia started to sweat.
"I enjoy being by your side the most."
She added, and her words ran out.
Now, all she could do was stare.
"U, um, y, yeah... I understand."
Ramilio's eyes darted around, but he took Lucrezia's hand and kissed it.
"I'll finish in ten minutes. I'll come right away."
--- No need to rush.
Before Lucrezia could say anything, Ramilio quickly returned to the audience room.
Rosa looked at Lucrezia, surprised.
Lucrezia felt a bit proud and looked at her sister, as if to say, "How about that?"
"Let's go."
She would wait in the study and show him again.
Lucrezia was a strong-willed woman.
