"Stop! Who are you?" At the gate of the Uchiha clan, two guard ninjas stood, shouting loudly as they saw Uchiha Madara running over from a distance, blocking the gate.
"Uchiha Madara!" Madara stopped, saying calmly.
The two guards were slightly taken aback, exchanging glances. One of the older ninjas sized up Madara and tentatively asked, "Young Master Madara?"
Madara nodded, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes. It seemed that many things had happened in the Uchiha clan over the past three years. At the very least, these two guards were not people he recognized.
"Please forgive us, Young Master Madara. Recently, there have been more and more spies from other clans. Could you show us your pass?" Although the two guards recognized Madara's identity, they did not let him in.
"I went to the Summoning Realm to train for three years. Do you think I would have a pass? Is this enough?" Madara instantly opened his Sharingan with three tomoe, his blood-red eyes coldly staring at the two.
The two guard ninjas were intimidated by Madara's aura, feeling as if they couldn't move, cold sweat trickling down their foreheads as they looked at Madara with fear.
Madara, without looking at them, held Cat Fairy and calmly walked through the gate, heading straight away.
"Amazing, so strong! For a moment, I thought I was going to die." The older guard ninja collapsed to the ground, breathing heavily, clearly quite frightened.
"Are you kidding? He's only a few years old, and he already has the three-tomoe Sharingan." The other ninja leaned against the doorpost, clutching his chest, looking in the direction Madara had left, trembling.
"Report to the Great Elder immediately. Uchiha Madara has returned, and he has the three-tomoe Sharingan." The older ninja got up from the ground, speaking seriously.
"Okay!" The younger ninja nodded and quickly ran into the clan.
Madara returned to his residence and found it just as it was before, still sparsely furnished but very clean, clearly often cleaned.
"It seems the Uchiha clan hasn't forgotten me!" Madara said with a hint of happiness.
"Hmph!" Cat Fairy snorted disdainfully.
Tap, tap, tap...
Footsteps sounded outside. A young boy with a delicate appearance ran in, his face showing excitement when he saw Madara. Without waiting for Madara to speak, he immediately pounced into his arms, saying excitedly, "Brother, I heard you came back, but I thought they were lying to me."
"Isuzu, you've grown so tall." Madara raised his hand to pat Isuzu's head, seeing that he had grown to his chest, his face showing a look of amazement.
"Brother, are you not leaving again?" Isuzu lifted his head, looking at Madara with hopeful eyes.
"I won't leave. I still have to teach you ninjutsu." Madara smiled.
"Liar, you always say you have something to do." Isuzu pouted.
"Not this time." Madara said firmly.
"Really?" Isuzu asked, somewhat disbelievingly.
Just as Madara was about to nod, another ninja walked in.
"Young Master Madara, the Clan Head wants to see you." The messenger ninja said respectfully.
"..." Madara saw Isuzu's angry expression and said helplessly, "Sorry, I'll come find you when I get back."
"Hmph! I clean your room every day, hoping you'd come back. I'll wait here today, and you must teach me ninjutsu no matter what." Isuzu sat on the ground in a huff.
"Sorry, Isuzu, you've worked hard." Madara was slightly taken aback, realizing that Isuzu had been cleaning his room.
"Madara, do you want me to go with you?" Cat Fairy asked.
"No, I'll be back soon." Madara shook his head and walked out of the house.
On the way, looking at the familiar yet strange scenery, Madara felt a mix of emotions. After all, since he had arrived in this world, he had only stayed in the Uchiha clan for less than three days.
"The name Uchiha Madara will not only resound throughout the Uchiha clan but will soon shake the entire world." Madara's heart was filled with passion, his blood boiling. He had trained tirelessly for three years, day and night, all for this moment.
Madara arrived at Uchiha Tashiro's residence, where the interior remained unchanged.
"Father!" Madara bowed.
Uchiha Tashiro had been observing Madara since he entered the room. Looking at Madara's slightly matured face, he felt a sense of nostalgia, but his expression quickly turned stern. "Madara, I remember I only gave you two years. It's been three years now. I thought you wouldn't come back!"
Madara frowned. He had shown his three-tomoe Sharingan at the gate, so Uchiha Tashiro should have known. Although he knew Uchiha Tashiro would be dissatisfied with his late return, as long as Uchiha Tashiro saw the results of his three years of training, any anger would dissipate.
"Father, although I returned a year late, I believe you will see that this year was worth it." Madara opened his Sharingan, the three tomoe in his blood-red eyes slowly rotating, as if one glance could draw the soul away.
"Hmm?" Uchiha Tashiro was about to scold Madara but saw the three-tomoe Sharingan in his eyes. His hand trembled, and the teacup fell to the table.
"You actually opened the three-tomoe Sharingan." Uchiha Tashiro stood up excitedly, a completely different person from before.
"I trained without rest for three years. I believe this result should be satisfactory to you, Father." Madara's face was filled with a smile, but he was thinking, "He really doesn't know. How is this possible?"
"Of course it's worth it!" Uchiha Tashiro shouted inwardly, regaining his composure, his face returning to calm, but the joy in his eyes was evident. He sat back down and said calmly, "You haven't disappointed me. This time, I'll let it slide, but you are not allowed to leave the Uchiha clan at will in the future."
"I understand. If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave." Madara nodded and said calmly.
"Even though you have the three-tomoe Sharingan, you must not be arrogant. Understand?" Uchiha Tashiro said sternly.
"Of course not." Madara smiled.
"Go! I'll have someone send you the scroll about the three-tomoe Sharingan later." Uchiha Tashiro said.
"Thank you, Father." Madara nodded and left Uchiha Tashiro's house.
Madara hurried back to his residence and found Isuzu eating a can of food, with Cat Fairy asking, "How is it? Is it good?"
"Um! Um! I've never eaten anything so delicious." Isuzu nodded repeatedly.
"Whenever you want to eat it, just come to me!" Cat Fairy waved her paw proudly.
"It seems you two are getting along well." Madara smiled as he entered the house.
"Brother, your summoning animal is so amazing, able to produce such delicious food." Isuzu put down the can, excitedly saying.
"I'm glad you like it!" Madara patted Isuzu's head and asked, "Isuzu, how is Uncle Kai recently?"
Isuzu paused, quietly putting down the can, sneaking a glance at Madara. Seeing his smiling face, he bit his lip and said, "Brother, Uncle Kai, he, he, he..."
"Uncle Kai, what happened to him?" Madara's face changed, his hands gripping Isuzu's shoulders, asking loudly.
"He's dead." Isuzu lowered his head, not daring to look at Madara.
"What did you say?" Madara's pupils constricted.
"Uncle Kai went on a secret mission a year after you left. He was reportedly surrounded by dozens of enemies and died in battle." Isuzu said softly.
Thud!
Madara sat on the ground, staring blankly at Isuzu, his face showing disbelief.
"This can't be. He was so strong, how could he die?" Madara muttered.
"Madara!" Cat Fairy looked at him with concern. She knew that Uchiha Kai had always helped Madara wholeheartedly. Although Madara never said it, he was very grateful to Uchiha Kai.
Moreover, Madara had once told her that in the Uchiha clan, only Uchiha Kai and Uchiha Isuzu were trustworthy.
"I'm fine!" Madara took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. He knew that in this era, the death of a ninja in battle was a common occurrence, but the fact that it involved his family made him lose his composure.
"Isuzu, take me to see him." Madara said calmly to Isuzu.
"Brother, rest a bit before you go." Isuzu said worriedly.
"No need!" Madara shook his head.
Isuzu sighed, stood up, and walked out of the house, with Madara following closely behind, and Cat Fairy quietly following the two.
