As Cat Fairy and Uchiha Madara walked home, both remained silent. Just before they reached the door, Cat Fairy couldn't help but ask, "Madara, what is a summoning beast? Why did you say I am your summoning beast?"

"A summoning beast is a ninja's battle companion. Of course, I wouldn't let you fight for me. Due to family reasons, I can't keep a pet, and I don't want you to stay in the fourth-dimensional space forever, so I had to say you are my summoning beast," Madara explained with a smile.

"I see!" Cat Fairy nodded, opened her mouth as if to say something, but then swallowed her words.

In the evening, Uchiha Madara sat cross-legged in the house, leaning against a table. Under the candlelight, he focused intently on the Sharingan scroll given to him by Uchiha Tashigi.

The Sharingan is one of the three great dōjutsu, alongside the Rinnegan and Byakugan. It is a bloodline limit of the Uchiha clan and is known as the strongest bloodline in the ninja world. Only a portion of the Uchiha clan can activate the Sharingan.

The ordinary Sharingan is divided into one-tomoe, two-tomoe, and three-tomoe. The more tomoe, the stronger the ability. Starting from the initial one-tomoe, as chakra increases, the proficiency in using the dōjutsu and the level of stimulation rise, the Sharingan will continue to evolve. With each stage of evolution, the number of tomoe in the eye increases. The three-tomoe Sharingan is the highest form of the ordinary Sharingan.

The one-tomoe Sharingan, also known as the 'Insight Eye,' can see through all of the opponent's subtle movements and hand seals. If both parties have the same taijutsu, the one with the Sharingan will definitely win.

The two-tomoe Sharingan, in addition to the insight ability, adds the replication ability, also known as the 'Replication Eye.' It can not only see through some ninjutsu but also replicate them, using the opponent's methods against them.

The three-tomoe Sharingan, in addition to the above two abilities, adds the 'Hypnosis Eye' ability. It can use genjutsu without hand seals and can also reflect the opponent's genjutsu. This is why the Sharingan is also called the 'Genjutsu Eye,' as it can make people fall into genjutsu without them realizing it.

Therefore, the Sharingan is a super bloodline limit that combines insight, replication, hypnosis, and genjutsu.

Generally, any Uchiha clan member who reaches the three-tomoe Sharingan will have the strength of a jōnin just by having the Sharingan.

However, this is not the final evolution of the Sharingan. Above it are the 'Mangekyō Sharingan' and the 'Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.' If one also has the Wood Release cells, it can even evolve into the 'Rinnegan.'

In the original story, Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Izuna both activated the Mangekyō Sharingan. Later, Madara's overuse of the Mangekyō nearly blinded him, while Izuna, severely injured by Senju Tobirama's Flying Thunder God technique, gave his Mangekyō Sharingan to Madara before dying, allowing Madara's eyes to evolve into the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

"If in the future, Izuna and I exchange our Mangekyō Sharingan, would we both end up with Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan?" Uchiha Madara frowned in thought. Logically, it is possible.

In the original story, Madara exchanged his eyes with his brother to turn his eyes into the Eternal Mangekyō. Unfortunately, Izuna died, so it is unknown if he would have obtained the Eternal Mangekyō if he had received Madara's eyes.

Cat Fairy looked at Uchiha Madara's handsome face and suddenly asked, "Madara, I have a question for you."

"Oh? What is it?" Uchiha Madara put down the scroll and looked at Cat Fairy in confusion.

"If I were just an ordinary black cat, would you still take me in?" Cat Fairy mustered the courage to ask her question.

"Of course I would!" Madara laughed, seeing Cat Fairy's evasive eyes, and said, "Do you think I took you in just for the secret gadget?"

Cat Fairy remained silent, clearly hit by Madara's words.

"You won't forget that before we crossed over, I brought you back to my house and told you that you could stay with me forever if you wanted. At that time, I didn't know who you were; I just thought you were an ordinary black cat," Uchiha Madara said calmly.

"Thank you, Madara!" Cat Fairy's emerald eyes gazed at Madara.

"I should be the one to thank you; you helped me achieve my greatest dream," Uchiha Madara smiled.

"Good to know. I've never helped anyone before; you're the first," Cat Fairy, having resolved her doubts, resumed her proud demeanor.

"Ah! You're so greedy and love gambling. If I didn't take you in, you'd be so pitiful," Uchiha Madara teased.

"What did you say!" Cat Fairy, furious, jumped in front of Madara and glared at him.

"Just a joke!" Madara patted Cat Fairy's head and laughed, "Now, bring out the secret gadget wheel. I'm going to the battlefield in a few days, and I want to see if I can get any secret gadgets."

Cat Fairy initially wanted to refuse but then, with a mischievous smile, she took out the secret gadget wheel and said, "Don't blame me if you lose and start crying."

"How could I!" Madara laughed and approached the wheel, puzzled, "How do you use this thing?"

"Hmph! Place the item you want to bet on in front of the machine, then press the red button. If the wheel accepts it, the item will appear on the wheel. Then press the green button to start," Cat Fairy huffed.

"Oh! That's simple enough!" Madara nodded and said to Cat Fairy, "Give me a can of fish."

"I don't have it. If you want to bet, you'll have to find it yourself," Cat Fairy proudly raised her head.

"I didn't realize you held a grudge." Uchiha Madara laughed bitterly and frowned, "Can I bet anything?"

"I don't know, but you can try placing it in front of the machine," Cat Fairy said smugly, thinking, "You don't know how terrifying the wheel is. You didn't listen to me, so you'll cry later."

Uchiha Madara scanned the room, looking for something valuable, but found only a futon, a small table, a teacup, a water pot, and a candlestick.

"I didn't notice before, but I'm so poor, it's almost as if I have nothing. The Uchiha clan is supposed to be rich, right?" Uchiha Madara laughed bitterly.

He didn't know that the Uchiha clan's opulence came after the founding of Konoha, when the clan members no longer had to worry about their lives and had time to enjoy themselves.

Ninjas take frugality as a virtue, especially in this Warring States era where one might not see the next day's sun. Only food and strength are considered precious; material possessions are not valued by ninjas. After all, no clan wants its members to be obsessed with useless things.

Seeing Madara's troubled expression, Cat Fairy felt a bit sorry for him. She was about to lend him a can of fish but noticed that he had already placed the teacup he used for drinking water in front of the machine.

"Haha... your broken teacup..." Cat Fairy clutched her stomach and laughed, about to mock Madara, but then saw him press the red button. The indicator light on the wheel suddenly lit up.
