As Madara brought Cat Xiaoxian back to the village of Konoha, the village was brightly lit, with many people gathered on the streets, discussing the events, still in a state of shock.
"Lord Madara!"
Whether they were ninjas or civilians, everyone bowed respectfully as they saw Uchiha Madara passing by, their eyes filled with admiration.
"Lord Madara, Lord Madara, this is for you!" A little girl from the flower shop handed a bouquet of flowers to Uchiha Madara, stammering.
"Thank you!" Madara took the flowers and nodded with a smile.
Seeing Madara accept the flowers, the remaining people hurriedly rushed into the shops to bring out various delicacies to offer to Madara.
"Lord Madara, try these rice balls, they are very delicious!"
"Lord Madara, my tempura is the best!"
"Lord Madara..."
Cat Xiaoxian drooled at the sight of the various delicacies, but Madara remained silent and instantly disappeared from the spot. When he reappeared, he was already in front of the Hokage Tower.
"My food!" Cat Xiaoxian realized that all the food in front of her had vanished, replaced by two guard ninjas.
"Lord Madara!" The guard ninjas said respectfully.
"Has Hashirama returned?" Madara raised an eyebrow.
"The Hokage is waiting for you!" The guard ninja smiled.
Without another word, Madara entered the Hokage Tower, the first time he had ever been there.
"It's so late, why isn't that idiot going to sleep?" Cat Xiaoxian rubbed her eyes, feeling sleepy, and asked irritably.
"The situation has exceeded my expectations. Now that Black Zetsu is dead, all my plans are in ruins." Madara said calmly.
"Ah?" Cat Xiaoxian looked at Madara in surprise.
Creak!
Madara pushed open the wooden door of the Hokage's office, walked in, and closed the door behind him.
"Our hero is back! The villagers of Konoha are very enthusiastic, aren't they?" Hashirama, sitting in his chair, teased Madara, noticing the flowers in his hand.
"Here, you take them!" Madara threw the flowers onto Hashirama's desk.
"Hmph!" Tobirama leaned against the wall, arms crossed, and pouted.
"Brother, are you okay?" Izuna, sitting on the sofa, asked anxiously.
"I'm fine!" Madara shook his head and sat down next to Izuna.
"Madara, can you tell me the truth now?" Hashirama asked eagerly.
"What do you want to know?" Madara said nonchalantly.
"The identity of the enemy!" Hashirama's eyes flashed with a sharp light.
"I've already told you." Madara said calmly.
"Ah?" Hashirama frowned, trying to recall. He thought Madara was joking, but Madara's expression was serious, and he really hadn't seen the enemy!
"Brother, who is the enemy?" Izuna broke the silence.
"Hashirama's third uncle!" Madara smiled.
"..." Izuna's mouth twitched.
"Ha ha ha..." Cat Xiaoxian clutched her stomach and laughed uncontrollably.
Hashirama buried his face in his arms on the table, seemingly deeply hurt by Madara's words.
"Leader Madara, we know our clan better than anyone. Can you be more specific?" Tobirama narrowed his eyes.
"There's nothing I can do if you don't believe me. That monster is not only Hashirama's third uncle but also my third uncle." Madara said, stunning everyone.
"Brother?" Izuna was speechless this time.
"I'll tell you a story, and you'll understand after you hear it!" Madara glanced around and began to tell the story of the Sage of Six Paths, including his mother, Kaguya Otsutsuki, her three sons, and the two sons of the Sage of Six Paths, Indra and Asura.
He briefly mentioned the Rinnegan and the origin of chakra, focusing on the story of the Otsutsuki family.
"Do you understand now?" After a while, Madara finished the myth and smiled at the three shocked people.
"How is that possible!" Tobirama muttered, unable to believe Madara's words, but Madara's story was flawless, with no loopholes.
If it were all true, then... Tobirama and Izuna's eyes both turned to their older brother.
"Madara, so you're saying we were brothers in our past lives!" Hashirama stared at Madara intently.
"Yes! But our relationship wasn't very good." Madara said nonchalantly.
"From the moment I saw you, I knew we had a connection. I never imagined we were actually brothers in our past lives." Hashirama said excitedly.
"Brother!" Tobirama covered his face. Even if what Uchiha Madara said was true, that wasn't the point!
"I've finished the story. The person we killed earlier was Kaguya Otsutsuki's youngest son. In terms of seniority, he is indeed your third uncle! Whether it's the conflict between Indra and Asura or the century-long enmity between the Uchiha and Senju, he is the root cause. I want to leave Konoha to kill him." Madara glanced at Hashirama and said calmly.
"Is that so!" Hashirama's eyes flickered.
"Leader Madara, if my brother is the reincarnation of Asura, why doesn't he know these things, but you do?" Tobirama suddenly asked.
"Because he's too stupid!" Madara said coldly.
"..." Hashirama, who was thinking, instantly felt dejected.
Tobirama narrowed his eyes. He believed Madara's story, but he knew Madara hadn't told everything. Uchiha Madara must be hiding important secrets.
"I've finished the story. I'm going to sleep now!" Madara said calmly.
"Madara, are you going to leave again?" Hashirama suddenly asked.
Madara glanced at Hashirama, then disappeared from the Hokage's office with Cat Xiaoxian and Izuna.
"Madara!" Hashirama sighed.
"Brother, if what Uchiha Madara said is true, things are probably more complicated than that." Tobirama said solemnly.
"I believe him because he is my brother!" Hashirama stood up and silently gazed at the peaceful night view of Konoha.
"..." Tobirama looked at his brother's back, silent.
Madara, Cat Xiaoxian, and Izuna appeared at the entrance of the Uchiha clan.
"Izuna, go back first!" Madara stood at the gate and said calmly.
"Brother, are you leaving?" Izuna asked softly.
"I'm not going away forever. There's no need to make it seem like a farewell." Madara smiled.
"But the enemy is already dead. Why are you still leaving?" Izuna clenched her fists.
"Izuna, one must always move forward, no matter how difficult the path. We must keep going." Madara said wistfully.
"You always do this, keeping everything to yourself. I wish I could help you, even just once." Izuna lowered her head, her body trembling slightly.
"Everyone has their own role to play. As long as you protect the Uchiha clan and lead them on the right path, that is the greatest help you can give me." Madara smiled.
"Brother!" Izuna looked up, wanting to say something but not knowing what.
Madara gave Izuna a deep look and disappeared with Cat Xiaoxian in front of her.
A man and a cat appeared in the forest outside Konoha.
"Madara, why didn't you take Izuna with you?" Cat Xiaoxian suddenly asked.
"The timing isn't right!" Madara lowered his head, recalling some long-forgotten memories.
"Madara!" Cat Xiaoxian looked at Madara worriedly.
"Don't worry! I have my plans. You haven't forgotten the parallel world travel scroll, have you?" Madara smiled.
"You mean..." Cat Xiaoxian suddenly understood.
Madara looked up at the hazy moonlight in the sky and murmured to himself, "Am I just used to being alone? Or are there some things that, even after life and death, reincarnation and rebirth, I can never forget!"
