When I opened my eyes, the room was still dark.

I was cleaned, dressed in my pajamas, and properly sleeping in bed.

I can hear Caesar sleeping next to me.

Ahh, so I lost consciousness……

I felt ashamed for losing consciousness from pleasure.

It’s still too early to get up from the bed.

Maybe I should go back to sleep…

I have a lot of time before work starts so there’s still time to sleep.

I tried to sleep, but I’m wide awake and I can’t sleep anymore.

It’s fine to just stay up like this, but…my waist hurts so maybe I’ll just lie down on my side…

As I was thinking so, I heard a rustling sound from the futon next to me.

It seems like Caesar’s awake.

He wakes up earlier than me, gets ready, and leaves the room, so it was common for me to wake up without him being beside me.

…Is it better to wake up, and say good morning to him…

I thought so, but it was too embarrassing so I continued to pretend to sleep.

Suddenly, I felt Caesar coming closer.

Then he kissed my forehead.

After that, my temple, my cheek…pausing for a while, then my lips.

“…Morning…I love you…”

I could feel my face immediately turning red.

Fortunately, Caesar went to the bathroom without finding out.

…Does he always… do such things to me…

Such natural gestures made me think so.

I would normally still be dreaming at this time.

I’m the type of person who always sleeps deeply, so I have the confidence to say I wouldn’t wake up from such things.

“U-uwahh…”

I covered my face with my hands and heaved a deep sigh.

I’m so happy…

Let’s wait for Caesar to come out of the bathroom and say good morning to him too.

Looking out of the window, there’s a faint light from the sunrise.

Even though the fine sand was still dancing in the air, the sand grains were illuminated by the morning sun and looked very beautiful.

When I came here, I realized that the scenery outside the window, which I didn’t like that much, is now really lovely.

The square-cut ash blue landscape, with only a man next to me, turned into something lovable.

I blinked as I looked out the window…

Enduring the feelings welling up, I thought of the blonde-haired knight.

Harris and the Prince returned home sometime in the afternoon.

Chief looked really pale until he left the base and never looked at me.

I didn’t feel like taking any further actions, so I left it up to Caesar.

A few days passed, and a letter was sent to me from the alchemy association.

It seems like the Chief has been moved from the institute after being demoted.

Perhaps it’s because of Caesar’s request, but it turned out to be an arrangement by someone and no criminal record was found.

I hope he will reflect on it and continue his research as before.

I was asked if I wanted to move back to the royal capital, but I decided to stay in this base.

Oh yeah, instead of making it a big case, I got the patent qualification for the precedent study to be returned to me.

It seems like I can get some percentage of sales on a regular basis, it’s nice to have plenty of money.
