Lee Shin-hang looked on with satisfaction as Yoo Jae-suk ate the food he had prepared. For a chef, having his dishes well-received was the greatest affirmation.
"Brother Yoo, try this mushroom meat sauce noodles too," Lee Shin-hang said as he ladled some soup.
"Wow~! The mushroom flavor is so rich, and the meat sauce is delicious too~!" Yoo Jae-suk praised repeatedly.
After the meal, Yoo Jae-suk patted his slightly bulging stomach and sighed contentedly, "Wow~! I'm really satisfied~! It would be great if I could eat such delicious food every day."
"Don't worry, I'll teach my sister-in-law seriously. You don't need to keep reminding me!" Lee Shin-hang joked.
"I really envy you, when do you plan to have the wedding? I'll host it for you when the time comes."
"Hmm, Hyeori said she doesn't want a grand wedding. It will probably be held at our villa in Jeju Island, and we might not invite too many people," Lee Shin-hang said.
"That's good. Inviting close friends and family will make the atmosphere more relaxed. However, the media won't let your wedding go unnoticed; it's big news~!"
"I can already imagine the scene of your wedding, Brother Yoo. It will definitely be crowded, and you won't be able to avoid a grand celebration even if you don't want one!" Lee Shin-hang teased.
Yoo Jae-suk thought about the scene of his wedding and felt it might indeed be as Lee Shin-hang described. He shook his head helplessly; it was something beyond his control.
"I don't know when I'll get married. Thinking about these things now is too early."
"Not really, you might get married next year," Lee Shin-hang said casually.
Who would have thought that Lee Shin-hang's casual words would come true.
After the meal, the two chatted for a while, and then Lee Shin-hang drove Yoo Jae-suk home. After all, Yoo Jae-suk had a busy schedule every day and needed to rest.
Yoo Jae-suk lived in Apgujeong, not far from the café. After dropping him off, Lee Shin-hang didn't stay outside any longer and drove home directly.
When he got home, parked the car, and walked into the house, he found that Hyeori hadn't returned yet. As he was changing his shoes at the entrance, the little fat cat heard the sound and came to him.
"Meow~! Meow~!"
"Oh, Araso, Araso, I'll give you food right away." He bent down to pick up the little fat cat and walked to the kitchen.
After feeding the children, Lee Shin-hang went upstairs to take a shower.
After the shower, he carried his laptop downstairs, sat on the carpet in the living room, placed the laptop on the coffee table, and turned on the TV.
After the computer booted up, he entered a folder called "Very Anchor," which was a script he was currently working on.
The story mainly revolves around a famous DJ, Nam Hyun-woo, who was once a member of an idol group, comparable to "TVXQ" in his prime. Despite being in his thirties, he is still known as a forever young idol. Seeing the increasing competition in the entertainment industry, Nam Hyun-woo began to develop behind the scenes and secured his own radio show. As the show consistently topped the ratings, his career showed new vitality.
However, at this critical moment, a 22-year-old daughter awaited him. The girl standing before Nam Hyun-woo was none other than his top listener, Hwang Jung-nam. Hwang Jung-nam firmly told Nam Hyun-woo that she was the child he had with a one-night stand when he was in his third year of junior high. At 36 years old, Nam Hyun-woo found it hard to believe that he had a daughter 14 years younger than him, but the worst was yet to come.
Hwang Jung-nam, who had already become an unmarried mother, also had a six-year-old child, Hwang Gi-dong, who was Nam Hyun-woo's grandson. After sorting out the situation, Nam Hyun-woo was drenched in cold sweat. The key issue wasn't whether the daughter and grandson were real, but rather that he couldn't let his fans know about this scandal. Temporarily taking them in wasn't a problem, but he was a workaholic and had to keep working while keeping the secret to prevent his grandson from being exposed. Nam Hyun-woo began a busy and chaotic life.
In short, it's a seemingly absurd story about a 36-year-old man and his 22-year-old daughter, evolving from strangers to close family, with a mix of comedic and emotional elements.
"Tap tap tap... tap tap tap..."
Lee Shin-hang reviewed the previous scenes, thought for a moment, and then started typing rhythmically on the keyboard.
After an unknown amount of time, he heard the door open and looked up to see Hyeori come in.
"You're back. Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something?"
He got up, walked over, and took her bag, placing it on the sofa. It was almost 11 PM.
"Oppa, cook some noodles~" Hyeori came into the living room and lay on the sofa, speaking weakly.
"Sure, wait a moment." He got up and went to the kitchen.
For a late-night snack, it's best to choose something light and easy to digest.
He cooked a bowl of clear broth noodles, blanched a few green vegetables, and placed them on top. He then took some pickled radish from the fridge, added two pieces, and it was done.
When Lee Shin-hang brought the noodles to the living room, Hyeori was sitting on the carpet, fiddling with his laptop.
"The noodles are ready, be careful, they're hot~" He placed the bowl in front of her and sat down beside her.
"Oppa, this story is quite interesting. Are you planning to make it into a movie?" Hyeori moved the laptop away and picked up the chopsticks to eat.
"If someone likes it." Lee Shin-hang was noncommittal.
"It's a given, unless they're all blind." Hyeori had great confidence in his talent.
"What time are you heading out tomorrow?" Lee Shin-hang changed the topic.
"I can sleep in tomorrow morning and go out in the afternoon."
Hyeori replied happily, then put the empty bowl aside. Lee Shin-hang hadn't cooked much.
"By the way, what did Brother Yoo want from you today?" Hyeori suddenly remembered and asked.
"Oh, that. Brother Yoo asked me to teach Jung-eun-ah cooking."
"Serious?" Hyeori asked with interest.
"Yes, it's a serious relationship aimed at marriage," Lee Shin-hang replied, playing with a strand of her hair.
"True, Brother Yoo isn't young anymore, but his standards are too high. Otherwise, he would have gotten married long ago," Hyeori nodded.
"I think Brother Yoo is single because he hasn't met the right person yet."
"By the way, Oppa, have we decided on the month for our wedding? We need to inform the company."
"Hmm, there are two options: May 20th or August 10th. You decide."
Hyeori leaned back into Lee Shin-hang's arms and thought for a while before speaking, "Next year, the company will prepare my third album. According to the schedule, it will likely be completed by mid-year, and I'll be very busy afterward. So let's choose May 20th."
Lee Shin-hang leaned down and kissed her face, "When do you plan to claim me? Register in Jeju Island during the New Year? Or should we go to England to see my grandparents and register there?"
"Hmm... I need to plan this carefully," Hyeori didn't make an immediate decision.
"Okay, I'll follow your lead."
"Oppa, thank you~" Hyeori wrapped her arms around him in gratitude.

In the morning, the sun diligently rose on time, not sleeping in despite the cold winter.
At 6 AM, Lee Shin-hang woke up as usual, carefully moved Hyeori, who was lying on his chest, to the side, tucked her in, kissed her face, got out of bed, washed up, changed into his workout clothes, and went to the front yard of the house.
As usual, he started with some warm-up exercises to get his body moving.
Then he began practicing his boxing. This wasn't some advanced secret technique but military-style boxing. He learned this from his father's bodyguard, Uncle Liang Zheng, who taught him a slightly different version of military-style boxing.
Uncle Liang was a retired soldier with excellent skills and now serves as the security captain at the company. He and the old boss had a deep friendship, and the old boss even gifted him a villa not far from his own as a token of appreciation for his years of hard work.
In a sense, Uncle Liang had watched Lee Shin-hang grow up, and Lee Shin-hang regarded him as an uncle.
