"Sure~! I'll be careful." He kissed her back and then went out.

Hyo-ri walked into the kitchen, first washing the surface of the watermelon, then placing it on a plate and cutting it in half. She carefully cut one half into small pieces, removing the seeds, and placed the watermelon flesh in a bowl, which she put in the fridge to chill. The other half she left out, as older people and children can't handle cold food.

She cut some oranges for juice and arranged them on a plate, along with washed grapes and strawberries. It really looked beautiful, no wonder she had studied art!

After cutting and washing the fruit, she also took out some dried fruits and preserves that her mother-in-law had sent, and placed them on the coffee table in the living room. Seeing that Li Shenxing hadn't returned, Hyo-ri lay on the sofa and watched TV, but soon fell asleep again.

In the afternoon, Hyo-ri's sister and brother-in-law all arrived. As Hyo-ri had said, she went to the kitchen and prepared a few simple dishes for her father-in-law. Although they weren't the best, they were really good. She also made seaweed soup, which is a must for birthdays.

After dinner, they cut the cake, sang the birthday song, and ate the cake. Li Shenxing turned on the karaoke machine, and everyone sang happily. Chan-jin even started dancing to the TV, which was very cute to watch.

Around 10 PM, his in-laws said they were going home. They didn't let Li Shenxing drive them, as they had come by car. Hyo-ri and Li Shenxing saw them off at the door, and only closed the door and went back inside after their car had driven away.

They tidied up the somewhat messy living room. Fortunately, his sister-in-law and sister had helped after dinner, or the young couple would have been exhausted.
