Thank you to [soul回忆] for the generous support of 100! Thanks~!!!
When Yoo Jae-suk turned the conversation to today's new member guest, Brian, he said gentlemanly, "Both female members are perfect, so there's no need to add anyone else."
"See, I told you," Hae-ri said smugly. "Oppa, tell me, who do you want to choose?"
Yoo Jae-suk was struggling to make a choice.
"It doesn't matter if they have a boyfriend or not, it's just a game," Hae-ri thought he was worried about that.
"Of course~!"
At this moment, Kim Soo-rou suddenly said excitedly, "I've been wanting to say this for a long time, I would unconditionally choose Girls' Generation."
"Or Wonder Girls," Yoo Jae-suk suggested another new female group.
When he mentioned 'Wonder Girls,' the previously gentlemanly Brian immediately became excited and agreed enthusiastically.
This was a complete contrast to his earlier demeanor, which made everyone laugh.
When the show aired, the behind-the-scenes subtitle team even added, "Who was it that said there was no need to add anyone...?"
"Now the seven won't include me," Yoo Jae-suk said with a hint of schadenfreude.
It was only then that Brian realized what had happened, and he looked annoyed, feeling tricked by Yoo Jae-suk.
Amidst everyone's laughter and chatter, they arrived at their destination—Jincheon Village without even realizing it.
When they got out of the car, Lee Shin-hyeong, seeing that the wind by the sea was strong and worried that Hae-ri might catch a cold, had an assistant bring her a long-sleeved hoodie to wear.
"Hey~! Shin-hyeong! You don't even care about your hyung, do you? You only have eyes for Hae-ri?" Yoo Jae-suk teased Lee Shin-hyeong.
"Hyung, are you jealous? Don't you have Jung-eun-ssi? You're even getting married soon. Could it be that you actually like me?" Lee Shin-hyeong countered.
"Oppa, you're getting married soon, so stop纠缠 my oppa. This won't end well for you. How can you do this to Eun-jung hyungnim?" Hae-ri added.
The couple took turns speaking, leaving no room for Yoo Jae-suk to argue, making him rub the back of his head in frustration.
The others watched in amusement, feeling like they were missing only the sunflower seeds, peanuts, and beer.
After the production team set up the equipment, Yoo Jae-suk announced, "This is our destination—Jincheon Village in Namhae County, Gyeongsangnam-do. Now let's go find the home of the elderly we are visiting."
Kim Soo-rou took out the two maps given by the production team and said, "These are the two maps drawn by the grandparents."
Yoo Jae-suk took one and opened it. Hmm??? He saw a straight line connecting two place names.
Daesung, squinting his eyes, asked, "How are we supposed to find it with this map?"
The map in Kim Soo-rou's hand, drawn by the grandfather, was slightly more detailed. Using these two maps, they began their search.
At a fork in the road not marked on the map, Hae-ri asked Yoo Jae-suk to call the residents for directions.
Yoo Jae-suk took the phone from the staff and dialed the number.
"Yoboseyo?"
"Yoboseyo?"
Not sure if it was bad reception or the elderly didn't hear, Yoo Jae-suk called out a few times.
"Yoboseyo?" Finally, the elderly voice came through the receiver.
"Ah~! Hello, Halmoni, this is Yoo Jae-suk. We are following the map you drew and are now at a fork in the road..." Yoo Jae-suk said, looking at the phone.
The others thought Yoo Jae-suk was on a video call with the grandmother and curiously looked at the phone.
Hae-ri leaned in to look at the phone, but all she saw was a black screen.
"It's not a video call, why are you looking like that~! Oppa."
"Ah! Ah! I just got used to holding it like this," Yoo Jae-suk explained, a bit flustered.
At this moment, the grandmother's voice came through, "Our house is very special, no one doesn't know it. Just follow the map carefully."
"Okay, okay, I understand."
Holding the map, the family members walked towards the grandmother's house.
"Yi-jin xi, you look good in anything," Brian suddenly complimented Yi-jin, who was walking beside him.
Being complimented so directly by a stranger made Yi-jin blush and cover her face with her hat, even though she knew it might not be sincere, but everyone loves to hear nice things.
"Look at others, Oppa, you never compliment me," Hae-ri said jealously.
Lee Shin-hyeong leaned down and pecked her pouting lips.
"To me, every day with you is special, always capturing my attention. My love for you is so strong that even the blind can feel it. If I compliment you more, others will be jealous to death."
"You're so sweet, I'll let you off," Hae-ri said happily.
The others couldn't help but shiver, finding the couple's sweetness unbearable.
Not long after, Brian, who was walking in front, suddenly pointed to a house and said, "Oh~! Cows, there are cows in the house."
Hearing his call, Yoo Jae-suk came to the house and saw Grandma Ko Ma-yo and Grandpa Kim Jeong-won coming out to greet them.
"Hello, Halmoni," Yoo Jae-suk quickly bowed and greeted.
The grandmother warmly hugged Yoo Jae-suk.
The grandfather also followed the grandmother and hugged the family members to welcome them.
"Have you all eaten?" the grandmother asked after the introductions.
"Not yet~!"
Hearing they hadn't eaten, the grandmother immediately said, "I'll cook for everyone."
Everyone tried to stop her, not wanting to trouble the grandmother to cook for them.
Seeing this, the grandmother took out some snacks she had been saving and distributed them to everyone.
After chatting with the grandmother for a while, the family members, following her instructions, saw the grandparents off at the door.
Back in the yard, they sat down on the porch. Daesung took down the calendar hanging on the door, as it contained the tasks left by the grandparents for the family.
Yoo Jae-suk read the tasks, but the first one stumped everyone, "Catch SOG? What is this?"
The impatient Hae-ri didn't want to stay and think about what SOG was, so she stood up and urged, "Let's go find it now... otherwise, we'll run out of time."
Kim Soo-rou also stood up and joined in the urging.
"No, we don't even know what SOG is... how can we catch it~" Yoo Jae-suk and Yoon Jong-shin complained.
SOG is a type of shrimp, also known as mantis shrimp, mud shrimp, shrimp tiger, shrimp bug, shrimp prawn, shrimp crab, shrimp scorpion, shrimp prawn, and many other names.
The family members changed into clothes and water shoes, and brought shovels and small rakes to the seaside.
"Ah~!!!" Yoo Jae-suk let out a scream.
Hae-ri had poked his butt again, this time with a shovel, just like she did with a bamboo stick last time. She really took every opportunity to bully Yoo Jae-suk, living up to her role as his ruler.
Brian pointed at Yoo Jae-suk's shorts and asked, "Oppa, are those not shorts?"
"Exactly, how strange~!" Hae-ri chimed in.
"You just don't understand the latest fashion," Yoo Jae-suk countered. "To attract attention at the beach, you need to wear clothes of three or more colors!"
"Ah~!" Everyone was repulsed by his fashion sense.
"We're in the countryside, the name Brian doesn't seem to fit here~!" Hae-ri said.
"Right, what was your original name?" Yoo Jae-suk asked.
"My original name is Jin-tae," Brian said.
"Ha-ha-ha... Jin-tae... ha-ha..." Everyone's laughter made him want to dig a hole and hide.
Lee Shin-hyeong didn't understand why they were laughing, but he could guess it was because the name sounded like those typical countryside names like Ah-niu, Ah-hu, and Fugui.
